In the past few years, the printing industry has witness a trend that has become ever more defined: due to the advent of digital technology, the production of short print runs has continued to gain in importance. An important initiative for the support of digital work flow in the manufacturing of printed products is CIP4 consortium. CIP4 stands for "International Cooperation for Integration of Prepress, Press and Post-press, it is an association of around forty international companies, mostly manufacturers of prepress, press and post-press, as well as suppliers and users. In this paper, we studied on the acting application of CIP4 work flow.

The Lithographic ink is composed of pigment, vehicle and additives. In especially, the vehicle is the most important element and consist of vegetable oils, mineral oils and resins. Varnishes have to resist certain forms of chemical and physical attack during ink manufacturing process and printing process So this varnish cooking is very important. In this paper, effects of cooking conditions of varnish using phenolic modified rosin ester on physical properties of the vehicle were studied. The varnish cooked according to temperature and time were compared in order of average molecular weight by the GPC method. and the rheological properties were found by rotational rheometer. And the emulsion behavior were compared by high speed emulsification tester which were set on 1200 rpm and $40^{\circ}C$ temperature (Novomatics Lithotronic). We displayed viscosity against tack(Inkometer Thwing-Albert M-106) by diagram.

The reality of domestic prints neither possesses an objective standard of standard density nor a spectrophotometric method in regard to process ink. As a result, it creates a difficult communication between a designer and a Prepresser as to estimating the color of reproduction prints. There was an experiment on paper, ink, and printing company to obtain the standard point. The result shows that paper has minimum effect on color reproduction as opposed to ink and different printing companies, which had a great effect. The purpose of this paper is to confirm how different the color reproduction properties of prints are using densitometer and spectrophotometer for three different ink companies. The process color inks of three different companies were used under the same printing environment in this experiment.

Textile decalcomania printing is how after the disperse dye which is melting and vaporizing absorbs on the surface of the cloth, it colors by permeating into the cloth inside. So it has applied a lot to the synthetic fiber like polyester. However, because there is no showing right temperature and time in case of printing on the polyester fiber and the microfiber, this study aims at it. The experimental methods are like this : first measuring the density for the objective judgment, and measuring colors with the colorimeter, and then study for the color reproduction through a visual evaluation.

In this paper, a transparent film exposed the effect of heat cut-off, reveal as means of the prevention to wrong operation of parts of display and forgery of the credit card, also it will intercept rising of the temperature in interior of a room and car by diminish the influx of near-infrared ray wavelength of solar energy come from the window. As in the past a film which absorb a wavelength of $800{\sim}2500nm$ in near-infrared ray, manufactured in physical vapor deposition(PVD), chemical vapor deposition(CVD) to using ATO, ITO of inorganic materials or sputtering method. but it has lots of problem in manufacture. On the other hand, recently a paper said it easily form a transparent film to using organic dye. This paper show synthesis of many derivatives used in Ni-complex and then it investigate to optical property and durability of flim by make the transparent film.

Rubber rollers in off-set printing process are one of the most important factor, transferring the ink and water to the plate. Each different roughness of roller surface and different rubber compounds could effect to ink transparency and printability. Three different rubber compounds (NBR, EPDM, PU) and each different roughness of roller surface would show us different result of ink transparency and density of actual printing result. There might be a differences from actual printing result not only the amount of transferred ink, but there is also some other point we should check it out. According to the result of this studies, we found that different rubber compounds and their surface roughness directly effect to the rate of ink transfer. It also shows that the amount of transferred ink is not even and stable amount what we expect to get optimum printability. To reach a targeted printability with rollers, firstly it is necessary to choose correct rubber compounds with certain purpose and the roughness of roller surface has to be as smooth as less than $5{\mu}m{\sim}7{\mu}m$.

Proofing is one of the inspection operations of printing and can be considered a process control step. The three main kinds of proofs are press proofs, photomechanical proofs, and digital proofs. Photomechanical and digital proofs are also generally refered to as "off-press" proofs. Off-press color proofs are more economical than press proofs. Digital proofs offer fast production time along with a much lower cost per page. Hard-copy digital proofs can be output using thermal transfer printers, ink jet printers, and color laser copiers, as well as dye sublimation and electrophotographic technology. Ink jet method is commonly using because of the reasonal price. But ink jet system is difficult to reproduce an exact color proof. This research was carried out for the purpose of optimization of ink jet color proofing, using two kinds of ink jet printers with 6 colors (C, M, Y, K, mC, mM) and 4 colors (C, M, Y, K) system.
