In this study, a zero-crossing spike current issue in a totem-pole bridgeless power factor correction (PFC) converter is comprehensively investigated for the first time. Spike current occurs when input voltage crosses zero, becomes a noise source, and causes severe common mode emission issues. A generation mechanism for electromagnetic interference (EMI) is presented to investigate the EMI problem caused by zero-crossing issue, and a noise spectrum due to this issue is predicted by a theoretical analysis based on the Fourier coefficient of an approximate spike current waveform. Furthermore, a noise reduction method is proposed and then improved to reduce the spike current. Experimental measurements are implemented on a GaN-based totem-pole bridgeless PFC converter, and the spike current can be effectively suppressed through the proposed method. Furthermore, the noise spectrums measured without and with the reduced zero-crossing spike current are compared. Experimental results validate the analysis of the noise spectrum caused by the zero-crossing spike current issue.

'비전제로(Vision Zero)'는 급증하는 교통사고에 대한 근본적 대응방안으로 20세기 후반 스웨덴에서 처음 도입되어 전 세계적으로 확산되고 있다. 합리적 인간을 전제로 하는 기존 교통안전정책을 비판하고, 인간은 실수할 수 있다는 가능성에 초점을 두는 정책이 되어야 한다는 관점을 제시하고 있다. 인간의 생명과 건강은 어떠한 다른 사회적 이익들과 바꿀 수 없다는 윤리적 비전하에 경미한 위험은 허용하는 한편 교통사고 사망·중상자를 '제로(zero)'화 하는 것을 정책과제로 표방하고 있다. 정부는 개인의 생명보호를 위해 개인이 실수를 하여도 결코 치명적 사고로 연결되지 않는 환경을 설계해야 한다고 주장한다. 안전의 궁극적 목표에 대하여 기존정책과는 차별화된 관점을 보여주는 '비전제로'는 교통안전에서 건강, 안전, 웰빙 등 영역으로 확산되고 있다. '비전제로'가 시사하는 우리나라 학교안전정책의 과제를 "무엇을 보호하는가", "무엇으로부터 보호하는가", "무엇으로 보호하는가", "누가 보호하는가", "어떻게 보호해야 하는가"의 5가지 영역으로 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 '비전제로'에 대한 분석적 논의를 통해 우리나라 학교안전정책의 새로운 방향성을 설정하고자 하였다.

교류 전압의 위상을 검출하여 제어하는 시스템의 경우 아날로그 제어방식에서는 검출한 위상에 대해 필터링에 의한 위상 offset 부분을 보상하여 제어에 응용하고 있다. 그러나, 디지털 제어방식에서는 이러한 위상 검출을 이용하여 제어할 경우 마이크로프로세서 혹은 마이크로 컨트롤러의 동작 주파수와 입력 위상 시간과의 오차로 인하여 정밀한 제어를 이룰 수가 없다. 일반적으로 사용하는 방식이 일정한 시간이 되면 누적된 오차를 임의로 보상하여 맞추어주는 방식인데 이러한 경우 보상하기 전까지는 오차를 지속적으로 가지고 갈 수밖에 없는 상황이 발생하게 된다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서는 실시간으로 영점을 검출하여 마이크로프로세서의 동작 주파수에 맞도록 보상하는 방법이 필요하게 된다. 따라서 이러한 오차를 줄이면서 정밀한 디지털 제어에 응용하기 위해 본 논문에서 수행하고자 하는 연구는 다음과 같다. 1) 시뮬레이션 모델링을 통해 Zero Crossing Detection 알고리즘을 구현하여 영점을 검출을 통하여 동작 주파수에 맞도록 보상하는 방법에 관해 연구. 2) Microcontroller를 이용한 Zero Crossing Detection 설계를 통하여 실시간으로 영점을 검출하여 마이크로프로세서의 동작 주파수에 맞도록 보상하는 방법에 관해 연구. 3) Zero Crossing Detection 회로를 활용하여 BLDC 전동기의 회전자 위치 추정 연구.

A convergence behavior is under investigation near a simple real zero for the k-fold pseudo-Olver's method defined by extending the classical Olver's method. The order of convergence is shown to be at least k+3. The asymptotic error constant is explicitly given in terms of k and the corresponding simple zero. Various numerical examples with a proposed zero-finding algorithm are successfully confirmed with the use of symbolic and computational ability of Mathematica.

Instantaneous active/reactive powers are defined in three phase four wire systems. The definition can be generally applicable to any source conditions and load conditions including nonlinear circuits. The zero-sequence power resulted from the zero-sequence voltage and zero-sequence current between two sub-systems affects both to the instantaneous active and reactive powers. The zero-sequence current can be controlled by compensation of the reactive power without power storage elements.

The Zero-Inflated Poisson regression is a model for count data with exess zeros. When the reponse variables have excess zeros, it is not easy to apply the Poisson regression model. In this paper, we study and simulate the zero-inflated Poisson regression model. An real example was applied to this model. Regression parameters are estimated by using MLE's. We also compare the fitness of zero-inflated Poisson model with the Poisson regression and decision tree model.

In this paper, we consider two extreme sets of zero-term rank sum of fuzzy matrix pairs: $$\cal{z}_1(\cal{F})=\{(X,Y){\in}\cal{M}_{m,n}(\cal{F})^2{\mid}z(X+Y)=min\{z(X),z(Y)\}\};$$ $$\cal{z}_2(\cal{F})=\{(X,Y){\in}\cal{M}_{m,n}(\cal{F})^2{\mid}z(X+Y)=0\}$$. We characterize the linear operators that preserve these two extreme sets of zero-term rank sum of fuzzy matrix pairs.

이 연구는 선형계획법을 위하여 개발된 프로그램들의 언어 및 자료 구조에 대한 차이를 비교, 분석하고자 한다. 선형계획법을 위하여 사용된 언어로는 C, PASCAL, FORTRAN이 있고 자료구조로는 Full Matrix형태와 Non-Zero Matrix형태를 고려한다. Non-Zero Matrix에서는 프로그램 언어별로 Cursor-Based System을 비교하고자 한다. 위의 실험을 수행하기 위하여 다음의 연구과정을 수행한다. 첫째, Non-Zero Matrix의 이용을 위한 Cursor-Based System과 Pointer-Based System을 설계한다. 둘째, LP프로그램을 위한 Full Matrix와 Non-Zero Matrix의 효율적인 자료구조를 구축한다. 세째, 프로그램 언어와 자료구조별로 LP프로그램의 성능을 비교분석한다.

In this paper Bayes estimator of the parameter and reliability function of the zero-truncated Poisson distribution are obtained. Furthermore, recurrence relations for the estimator of the parameter are also derived. Monte Carlo simulation technique has been made for comparing the Bayes estimator and reliability function with the corresponding maximum likelihood estimator (MLE) of zero-truncated Poisson distribution.
