학습성과의 개념과 작성에 대한 탐구 (A Critical Evaluation of the Concept and Writing of Learning Outcomes)

  • Recent changes in educational paradigms that emphasize the performance or outcomes of education are redefining how learning objectives are being described as 'learning outcomes' in various academic disciplines. Medical education is not an exception to this trend. However, it has come to our attention that the key concepts and appropriate descriptions of learning outcomes have not been well understood among educators and that this lack of understanding has hindered our efforts to implement the practice in the field. This study aims to provide a direction to establish and describe learning outcomes by examining previous studies that have focused on setting learning objectives as well as learning outcomes. Setting and describing learning outcomes starts from reflection on the approach of behavioral learning objectives, which overemphasizes learner's acquired knowledge, skills, and attitude in each classroom rather than actual performance. On the other hand, the learning outcome approach focuses on what the learner is able to do as a result of a learning experience. This approach is more learner-friendly and encourages students to lead and be responsible for their learning process. Learning outcomes can best be described when the relevance of actual contexts and the hierarchy of learning objectives are considered. In addition, they should be in the form of context, task, performance, and level, as well as be planned with proper assessment and feedback procedures. When these conditions are met, the learning outcome approach is beneficial to students as it presents a curriculum that is more open to learners. Despite these advantages of the learning outcome approach, there is a possible concern that setting the learning outcomes and describing them can restrict evaluation to lower cognitive skills if the concept of learning outcome is narrowly interpreted or is set too low. To avoid such narrow applications, it is important for educators to understand the comprehensiveness of the learning outcome setting and to consider long-term outcomes embedded in an organizational vision rather than only short-term behavioral outcomes.

광섬유 엔진 모니터용 압력센서를 위한 프로그램 가능한 고속 저전력 8 비트 아날로그/디지탈 변환기 (A Programmable Fast, Low Power 8 Bit A/D Converter for Fiber-Optic Pressure Sensors Monitoring Engines)

  • 각각 8개의 N과 P채널 EEPROM을 이용하여 광섬유 엔진 모니터용 압력센서를 위한 A/D 변환기를 설계하였다. EEPROM의 쓰기와 소거동작에서 요구되는 높은 프로그래밍 전압의 크기를 낮추기 위한 지역전계강화 효과가 소개된다. 프로그래밍 모드에서 EEPROM의 선형적 저장능력을 관찰하기 위해 MOSIS의 $1.2\;{\mu}m$ double-poly CMOS 공정을 이용하여 셀이 제작되었다. 그 결과 1.25V와 2V구간에서 10mV 미만의 오차 내에서 셀이 선형적으로 프로그램 되는 것을 보았다. 이러한 실험 결과를 이용하여 프로그램 가능한 A/B 변환기의 동작이 Hspice에서 시뮤레이션 되었으며, 그 결과 A/D 변환기가 $37\;{\mu}W$의 전력을 소모하고 동작주파수는 333MHz 정도인 것으로 관찰되었다.

소셜 카테고리를 이용한 추천 방법 (Social Category based Recommendation Method)

  • 최근 SNS가 이슈가 되고 다양한 분야에서 이를 이용한 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 특히 SNS 상에서 생성되는 여러 소셜 데이터를 기반으로 사용자의 관심사를 찾아내고 추천해 주는 시스템에 대한 연구가 대두되고 있다. 사용자의 관심과 선호도는 단순히 사용자가 작성한 글에서만 나타나는 것이 아니라, 친구와의 관계와 작성한 내용기반으로 분류되는 카테고리를 이용하여 파악될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용자의 사회적 관계와 사용자가 작성한 소셜 데이터의 카테고리를 이용하여 사용자의 선호도를 자동으로 추출하고, 이를 기반으로 추천하는 방법을 제안한다. 그리고 실험을 통해 제안한 기법의 유효성을 검증한다.

문제중심학습과 신업체 현장실습 연계를 통한 효과적인 PLM 교육에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Problem-Based Learning with Industry Co-operative Program for Effective PLM Education)

  • Generally, a PLM education program in university consists of lectures of theory, software lab and software development raining as an advanced subject. Most industries want more than these, such as practical problem solving capabilities, teamwork skills and engineering communications including human relationship, rhetoric, technical writing, presentation and etc. Problem-Based Learning is a problem-stimulated and student-centered teaming method, and an innovative education strategy for collaborative and self-directed learning by applying real world problems. Education paradigm changes from "teaching" to "learning" accomplished by team working, and students are encouraged to develop, present, explain and defense their ideas, suggestions or solutions of a problem, and the "cooperative teaming" proceeds spontaneously during team operations. Co-operative education program is an into-grated academic model and a structured educational program combining classroom learning with productive work experience in a field related to a student's academic or career goals. Based on the partnership between academic institutions and industries, students are engaged in real and productive "work" in the industry, in contrast with merely observing. In this paper, PBL with Co-op program is suggested as an effective approach for PLM education, and we made and operated a PBL-based education course with industry co-op program. The Co-op education in industry accompanied with the PBL course in university can improve practical problem solving capabilities of students, including modeling and management of P3R(Product, Process, resource and Plant) using commercial PLM software tools. By the result, we found this to be an effective strategy for helping students, professors and industries succeed in engineering education, especially PLM area.

인문학 전공자의 위기를 통한 융합교육의 방향성 고찰 (A Study on Direction of Convergence Education through The Crisis of The Humanities Majors)

  • 최근에 인문학의 위기와 함께 인문학 전공자들의 실업률이 상당히 높다는 통계가 서울노동권익센터와 고용노동부에서 발표되었다. 곧이어, 정부가 발표한 '인문계 전공자의 취업을 촉진시키는 방안'을 중심으로 인문 전공자 취업 정책을 확인할 수 있었다. 이를 계기로 인문학적 상상력과 공학적 상상력의 융합으로 인한 부작용을 인식할 수 있었으며, 인문학도들의 취업위기를 극복하기 위한 인문학적 융합 교육의 방향성을 살펴보았다. 그리고 인문학은 거시적 인문융합보다는 미시적 인문융합에서 활발하게 통섭이 이루어져야 하며, 미시적 융합이 탄탄하게 통섭되어 스토리텔링의 완성도를 높였을 때, 비로소 거시적 융합의 효과는 극대화된다는 사실을 확인하였다. 인문학 전공자들의 실업률을 타개하기 위해 융합형 인재 양성이 시급하며, 학제간 융합시스템에 의한 프로젝트를 가동시키는 것이 최상의 방법이라는 결과를 돌출시킬 수 있었다.

GIS를 이용(利用)한 환경친화적(環境親和的) 임도(林道) 노선(路線) 선정(選定) 프로그램의 개발(開發) (Development of a GIS Model for Projecting Eco-Friendly Forest Roads)

  • 이 연구에서는 환경친화적 임도 노선 선정과 임도 노선에 대하여 환경적 공학적 특성을 평가할 수 있는 GIS 응용 전산 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이 모델은 도형 및 속성 자료 관리 모듈, 적정 노선 선정 모듈, 노선의 환경적 공학적 효율성 평가 모듈, 산악 지형 분석 모듈, 평가서 작성 모듈의 5개 세부 모듈로 구성되었으며, 이 모듈들은 임업 현장 실무에서 쉽게 활용될 수 있도록 'pull-down' 메뉴 체계로 개발되었다. 모델의 운영 체계는 ESRI사의 Avenue, Microsoft의 Visual Basic 6.0을 이용하여 작성하였고, GIS 엔진은 ArcView 3.1, Spatial Analyst 및 3-D Analyst를 이용하였다. 이 논문에는 임도 노선 선정 및 평가와 관련된 응용 원리 및 전산 모델의 구조와 운용 체계가 제시되었다.

초등학생 식생활교육을 위한 '바른식생활 길라잡이' 교재의 개발과 활용방안 (The Development of 'Good Dietary Life Guide' Textbooks for Elementary School Students)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to develop dietary education textbooks for elementary school students by focusing on the three core values of environment, health and gratitude from the National Food Education Plan. Methods: The contents of textbooks and teacher's guidebooks were developed with brainstorming of the authors as well as consultation with experts and by considering not only the three core values of environment, health, and gratitude, but also the performance indicators of the 2nd National Food Education Plan and the key competencies and creative convergence approach of the 2015 revised national curriculum. Results: A total of 12 different dietary education textbooks named 'Good Dietary Life Guide' and the teachers' guidebooks from the first to the sixth grade of elementary school were developed. The textbooks were fundamentally developed connecting the three core values, the outcome indices of the 2nd National Food Education Plan and the key competences of the 2015 revised national curriculum. Various educational activities such as thinking, debate, writing, cooperative learning, experience, practice were included to promote students' participation. These books could be utilized in every field of dietary education targeting elementary students such as creative experiential activity, convergent classes (integrated subjects, Practical arts, Social studies, Science, Moral education and Korean), after school classes, rural experience, general agricultural education, after-school child care services and community child care centers. Conclusions: The continuous and repetitive use of the textbooks from the first to the sixth grade would contribute to the improvement of food habits and the personalities of elementary school students, and consequently make the students grow up as healthy citizens.

프로젝트 스펙트럼의 언어활동이 유아의 창의성에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Project Spectrum Linguistic Activities on Young Children's Creativity)

  • 본 연구는 프로젝트 스펙트럼의 한 영역인 언어영역활동을 실험집단에 적용해 봄으로써 창의성에 어떤 효과가 있는가를 분석하는데 그 목적이 있었다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였다. 프로젝트 스펙트럼의 언어활동이 유아의 창의성에 어떤 효과가 있는가? 연구대상은 광주광역시에 위치한 W유치원에 재원중인 만 5세반 유아 40명(남아 26명, 여아 14명)을 실험집단으로 M유치원에 재원중인 만 5세반 유아 40명 (남아 22명, 여아 18명)을 통제집단에 임의 배정하였으며, 15주에 걸쳐 실험집단에는 프로젝트 스펙트럼의 언어활동을 통제집단에는 유치원 교육과정의 언어생활영역에 근거한 언어활동을 총20회 실시하였다. 본 연구의 실험을 수행한 결과 프로젝트 스펙트럼의 언어활동을 수행한 실험집단이 통제집단의 유아들보다 창의성에 있어서 효과적이었다.

잉크젯 인쇄기술을 이용한 인쇄회로기판의 에칭 레지스터 패터닝 (Etch resist patterning of printed circuit board by ink jet printing technology)

  • Inkjet printing is a non-contact and direct writing associated with a computer. In the industrial field, there have been many efforts to utilize the inkjet printing as a new way of manufacturing, especially for electronic devices. The etching resist used in this process is an organic polymer which becomes solidified when exposed to ultraviolet lights and has high viscosity of 300 cPs at ambient temperature. A piezoelectric-driven ink jet printhead is used to dispense $20-40\;{\mu}m$ diameter droplets onto the copper substrate to prevent subsequent etching. In this study, factors affecting the pattern formation such as printing resolution, jetting property, adhesion strength, etching and strip mechanism, UV pinning energy have been investigated. As a result, microscale Etch resist patterning of printed circuit board with tens of ${\mu}m$ high have been fabricated.

보건소 건강증진사업 담당자의 직무교육에 대한 인식 및 교육요구도 (Analysis of Perceived Job Training and Educational Needs for the Public Health Promotion Program Personnel)

  • Objectives: This study is for understanding the perceived job training of the public health promotion program officials and analysis the educational needs in order to serve as the basis for the development of the future educational programs. Methods: To this end, we have developed a survey based on references and consultations with experts. We had explained the purpose and the intent of the survey to nationwide public health directors in advance and an online questionnaire was conducted for health promotion program and service providing personnel; the results from a total of 763 survey respondents were used in the final analysis. Collected data were analyzed through SPSS Win 21.0. Results: The results shows that the tasks of public health promotion personnel are 'business practices,' 'planning and evaluation related work' and so on in order of importance while the duties of service providing personnel are 'counseling,' 'education' and so on. One of the factors affecting field applications of education is 'awareness of the connection between education and career development' which accounts for 33% of explanatory power; the selected six other factors constitute 41.7%. Necessary educational contents for public officials are 'public health service planning,' 'report writing skills' and 'project evaluation methods.' On the other hand, for service providers, the contents are 'counseling methods,' 'development of educational materials,' 'monitoring health status' and so on. Conclusions: In order for trained service personnel to accord with the changed health promotion environment and the demand of local residents, Public Health Promotion officials should increase educational opportunities based on the competencies for each job, provide continuous learning opportunities and information even after the training, and finally, create a system that can link to career development.
