As the scale of building construction is larger and more complex and the adaptation of new technology is increasing, the tendency of the risk serious accident cases is increasing now. Especially, the accident rate is below 10% at the building construction workers in Korea but among the total industrial accidents it exceeded by 35%. To prevent a construction accident, it is essential that not only to have a through grasp of the characteristic of safety problem but also to establish of efficient safety counter plan are required. According to the type and situation of building construction, the acquirement of necessary information is useful to prevent the hazard of work and establish the counter plan. Among the safety information it is a thing of especial importance that to estimate the hazard of work types for building construction to prepare the counter plan of safety. This study will analyze all of the1600 accidents of the building construction works from the data of KOSHA(Korea Occupational Safety &Health Agency) which were collected during 11 years(1992~2002) data relating to serious accidents of the building construction works, and suggest the counter plan according to the each work type in building construction works.
This study tried to identify the problems associated with the posture to be analyzed and tried to suggest guidelines for MSDs(Musculoskeletal Disorders) evaluation based on working posture. A total of 50 jobs from 3 different types of industries(electronics, hospitals, automobiles) were used for MSDs evaluation study which was done by 6 observers. Two indexes were applied to identify the problem in this study which were percentage of agreement and counter-time-error rate. Specifically, 'counter-time-error rate' represented a degree of consistency in terms of selecting the posture to be analyzed time after time. Main results of the study were as follows; 1) The average percentage of agreement for representative posture for whole body was relatively higher than that for representative postures for individual body parts, 2) The counter-time-error rate(%) has been reduced as the evaluation process has repeated for the same job. 3) The counter-time-error rate(%) for electronics, hospitals, and automobiles were 63.4%, 61.2%, and 67.3% respectively. 4) The counter-time-error rate(%) for the job with the work cycle of 0.5 to 2 minutes were lower than that of the jobs with the work cycles less than 0.5 minute or greater than 2 minute. 5) The work cycles and the number of trials had significant effects on counter-time-error rate while the types of industries did not have significant effects on counter-time-error rate. Some guidelines could be prepared from the results of the study. Probably, there should have an extension in terms of form and matter for this study in order to have more practical output.
In this work, two different platinum (Pt) counter electrodes have been prepared by spin coating a Pt solution and screen printing a Pt paste on fluorine doped tin oxide (FTO) glass substrate followed by sintering at $380^{\circ}C$ for 30 min. Linear sweep voltammetry (LSV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) analyses of the Pt electrodes showed that the spin coated electrode was catalytically more active than the screen printed electrode. The above result agrees well with the surface morphology of the electrodes studied by atomic force microscopy (AFM) and the photovoltaic performance of the dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) fabricated with the Pt electrodes. Moreover, calculation of current density-voltage (j-V) curves according to diode model with the parameters obtained from the experimental j-V curves and the EIS data of the DSSCs provided a quantitative insight about how the catalytic activity of the counter electrodes affected the photovoltaic performance of the cells. Even though the experimental situations involved in this work are trivial, the method of analyses outlined here gives a strong insight about how the catalytic activity of a counter electrode affects the photovoltaic performance of a DSSC. This work, also, demonstrates how the photovoltaic performance of DSSCs can be improved by tuning the performance of counter electrode materials.

We proposed the new structure of ac plasma display panel(PDP) to improve the luminous efficacy and driving voltage characteristics. Through two-dimensional numerical simulations, we analyzed the effects of new counter discharge type, which consists of counter sustain electrodes and auxiliary electrodes. Generally, an advantage of AC PDP with the counter sustain electrodes has been known for the driving characteristics of the low voltage. In this work, the new counter structure using the ignition discharge by the auxiliary pulse applied to the address electrode showed the result of the increased luminous efficacy. The short gap discharge between two auxiliary electrodes on the front plate could intensity the long gap discharge between counter electrodes. The reliability of simulation result could be confirmed by the experimental result in the test panel.

The counter electrodes in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) play roles in not only collecting electrons from external circuit but also reducing I3- to I- in electrolytes. Generally, conventional counter electrodes for DSSCs are prepared from the high temperature treatment of the H2PtCl6 precursor solution at $400^{\circ}C$ However, the more simplified fabrication process of counter electrodes is required for the commercialization of DSSCs. In this work, we developed novel fabrication process of counter electrodes using nano-second pulsed laser. DSSCs employing counter electrodes prepared by laser process showed conversion efficiency of 6.75% with short-circuit current of 12.73 mA/cm2, open-circuit voltage of 0.74 V and fill factor of 0.72. Closer investigating of photovoltaic properties will be reported.
The purpose of this study was to devise guidelines for the kitchen workspace of the aged by examining current usage. To achieve this objective, surveys were conducted and measurement were taken between June 15 and lune 30, 2005. The data were gathered from 50 women over 65- years-old who live in the downtown and suburbs of Seoul, Korea. The collected data were processed using SPSS 12.0 for Microsoft Windows and resulted in the following conclusions: The kitchen for the aged needs to be laid out in ㄱ-shape and the refrigerator needs to be positioned prominently. The height of the work counter is relative to the user's height (${\times}0.49{\sim}056$). and the length varies depending on the available space of the house and the type of work counter needed: however it was found that it should be at least 270cm Concerning the depth of the work counter, the standard sizes (60cm) currently on the market did not cause any inconvenience. It was found that the sink must be designed to allow for some space at the bottom so as to ensure comfortable sedentary work. Also, an electrical oven was preferred over a gas-fuelled one. Finally, the height of the upper cabinet should be relative to the user's height at ${\times}0.85{\sim}1.0$ from the floor to the bottom of the cabinet.
Using information and communication technologies, many firms have increased their productivity. In resource based view, practical use of information and communication technologies is a process of increasing competitive advantage in uncertain environment. However, use of new information and communication technologies does not surely improve the productivity and work efficiency, but sometimes could be a factor to hinder firm performance. Technostress means adverse effect occurring in which the user of new information and communication technologies does not adapt to environment of new technologies. That is, Technostress is a negative impact resulted from using information and communication technologies. This study investigated the effect of technostress on counter-productivity. Unlike the previous studies, this study was made with the survey for firm employees of Daegu region, and both counter-productive work behavior and innovation resistance were used in this study. The empirical result means that technostress positively affects both counter-productive work behavior and innovation resistance. Because technostress increases both counter-productive work behavior and innovation resistance, systematic management for firm employees is needed in time adopting information and communication technologies.
The welding distortion of a hull structure in the shipbuilding industry is inevitable at each assembly stage. The geometric inaccuracy caused by welding distortion tends to preclude the introduction of automation and mechanization and requires additional man-hours for adjustment work during the following assembly stage. To overcome this problem, a distortion control method should be applied. For this purpose, it is necessary to develop an accurate prediction method that can explicitly account for the influence of various factors on the welding distortion. The validity of this prediction method must also be clarified through experiments. For the purpose of reducing the weld-induced bending deflection, this paper proposes the plastic counter-deforming method (PCDM), which uses line heating as the optimum distortion control method. The validity of this method was substantiated by a number of numerical simulations and actual measurements.

An RSFQ (Rapid Single Flux Quantum) counter can be used as a frequency divider that was an essential part of a programmable voltage standard chip. The voltage standard chip is composed of two circuit parts, a counter and an antenna Analog signal of tens to hundreds ㎓ may be applied to a finline antenna part. This analog signal can be converted to the stream of SFQ voltage pulses by a DC/SFQ circuit. The number of voltage pulses can be reduced by 2n times when they pass through a counter that is composed of n T Flip-Flops (Toggle Flip-Flop). Such a counter can be used not only as a frequency divider, but also to build a programmable voltage standard chip. So, its application range can be telecommunication, high speed RAM, microprocessor, etc. In this work, we have used Xic, WRspice, and L-meter to design an RSFQ counter. After circuit optimization, we could obtain the bias current margins of the T Flip-Flop circuit to be above 31% Our RSFQ counter circuit designs were based on the 1 ㎄/$\textrm{cm}^2$ niobium trilayer technology.

We has designed, fabricated, and measured a Single flux quantum (SFQ) toggle flip-flop (TFF). The TFF is widely used in superconductive digital electronics circuits. Many digital devices, such as frequency counter, counting ADC and program counter be used TFF Specially, a program counter may be constructed based on TFF We have designed the newly TFF and obtained high bias margins on test. In this work, we used two circuit simulation tools, WRspice and Julia, as circuit optimization tools. We used XIC for a layout tool. Newly designed TFF had minimum bias margins of +/- $37\%$ and maximum bias margins of +/-$37\%$(enhanced from +/- $37\%$). The designed circuits were fabricated by using Nb technology The test results showed that the re-optimized TFF operated correctly on 100kHz and had a very wide bias margins of +/- $53\%$.
