P&ID((Piping and Instrument Diagram) is a key drawing in the engineering industry because it contains information about the units and instrumentation of the plant. Until now, simple repetitive tasks like listing symbols in P&ID drawings have been done manually, consuming lots of time and manpower. Currently, a deep learning model based on CNN(Convolutional Neural Network) is studied for drawing object detection, but the detection time is about 30 minutes and the accuracy is about 90%, indicating performance that is not sufficient to be implemented in the real word. In this study, the detection of symbols in a drawing is performed using 1-stage object detection algorithms that process both region proposal and detection. Specifically, build the training data using the image labeling tool, and show the results of recognizing the symbol in the drawing which are trained in the deep learning model.

Interior is composed of void spaces decided by many substances and the function of the spaces which creat its valuation. Accordingly interior space makes peculiar forms by synthesizing each interior elements and its abstractness. Therefore characteristic of the expressed word and symbolic system become interior wholeness. The focus of this paper is to analyze interior words and the symbolic systems scientifically. The content is composed of 5 major parts. The 1st and 2nd chapter deal with Introduction and the Characterization of Interior Design. Linguistic symbol and metaphor which decide Post-Modern interior style were studied in the 3rd chapter. In the 4th chapter. this paper analysed linguistic character of interior words which need to express character of tradition. decoration, and publicity, expccially through code and metaphor. Finally Thematic I-louse library interior space designed by Charles Jencks was linguistically researched as a study model.

Persuasion is one of the attractive channels to enhance the relation between markerters and consumers and deliver the true communication on products to the consumers. This arctic tried to examine the symbolic meaning system as a way of maximizing the visual communicational effect of persuasion, the efforts of marketers who are trying to utilize the psychology of the mass that consume the symbol rather than products and the symbol system as a mean of propaganda were analyzed as well. People in modern age, in general, place more value on the emotional assoessibility than the efficiency of the product, As a result, the ways of expression of propaganda approaching the mass are in the process of gradual change, which was another theme this article tried to explore. Ames sied that the human preoeption has a tendency to perceive things in some organized pattern, which can be applied to even untransparable and meaningless image. Human beings don't perceive what there is but what, thery believe there to be, and his peroeption are channelized by the opportunity of the past, his peroeption are channelized by the opportunity of the past, his experience of the environment, and the history of learning. To say another word, people not only recognize the objective form but also accept the inside meaning of the visual object. Their reponse to the visual object, therefore, include personal cognition, judgment, and attitued. The communication in visual design reveals the culture, society, and art in a complex symbol, and make synthetic cultural interpretation possible. It's pretty attractive, effective, and reasonable method to use symbolic meaning system as a way of persuasion. It is because communication means whole process from receiving and delivering the information and message to making common meaning system, to measuring the effect of the behavior change.

The purpose of this study is to fashion-design the image of Cleopatra on the basis of Cleopatra's characteristic, clothing and its symbolic meaning shown in movie . In movie , Cleopatra(69B.C-30B.C) is described as passionate, intelligent, dignified person and even as enchantress. Costume that Cleopatra wears compound the type of ancient Egyptian costume in New Kingdom, the change of it, and the trend in the 1960's. Their color and pattern also symbolizes religion by adding ancient Egyptian myths to show the absolute royal authority. Therefore, design concepts, determined on the base of Cleopatra's characteristic and symbol meaning, are applied to make creative costume with Cleopatra's image of God Isis. In order to show Cleopatra's dignity, confidence, territorial ambition, black is used as a general base color. To represend Cleopatra's passion and the image of Isis, red is used. And the word 'Kemeto' represents all these symbols. As a whole, dress named 'Kemeto of Cleopatra' is designed and created.

In Reed Solomon decoder, when there are more than 4 error symbols, we usually use Chien search machine to find those error positions. In this case, classical method requires complex and relatively slow digital circuitry to implement it. In this paper we propose New fast and cost effective Chien search machine design method using Galois Subfield transformation. Example is given to show the method is working well. This new design can be applied to the case where there are more than 5 symbol errors in the Reed-Solomon code word.

In this paper, we derive analytical expressions for the exact pairwise error probability (PEP) of a space-time coded system operating over spatially correlated fast (constant over the duration of a symbol) and slow (constant over the length of a code word) fad­ing channels using a moment-generating function-based approach. We discuss two analytical techniques that can be used to evaluate the exact-PEPs (and therefore, approximate the average bit error probability (BEP)) in closed form. These analytical expressions are more realistic than previously published PEP expressions as they fully account for antenna spacing, antenna geometries (uniform linear array, uniform grid array, uniform circular array, etc.) and scattering models (uniform, Gaussian, Laplacian, Von-mises, etc.). Inclusion of spatial information in these expressions provides valuable insights into the physical factors determining the performance of a space-time code. Using these new PEP expressions, we investigate the effect of antenna spacing, antenna geometries and azimuth power distribution parameters (angle of arrival/departure and angular spread) on the performance of a four-state QPSK space-time trellis code proposed by Tarokh et al. for two transmit antennas.

Companies and consumers are highly interested in online activities such as word-of-mouth(W.O.M) as marketing paradigm moved to online context. In this study, the research identified major variables affecting product review reference rate online and analyzed the difference based on those variables. According to the results, remarkable differences were discovered in four variable such as 'brand reference', 'review symbol', 'affirmation' and 'information offering'. In addition, the researcher found 'brand reference' and 'information offering' are most important factors deciding review reference rate using regression tree analysis method. Based on the results, the practical implications and further research directions for utilizing consumer online W.O.M were discussed.

In Guided Scrambling (GS) encoding for the holographic storage, after scrambling augmented source word into codeword, the best codeword satisfying modulation constraint is determined. Modulation constraints considered in this paper are strength which is the minimum number of transition between '0' and '1' in each row and column of codeword array and the symbol balancedness of codeword array. In this paper, we show that GS encoding procedure can be formulated as an integer programming model and develop a fast neighborhood search heuristic for fast computation of control bits. In the simulation, we compared the performance of heuristic algorithm with the integer programming model for various array and control bit size combinations.

In this paper the decoder of nonbinary code satisfying R>1/t has been designed and constructed, where R is the code rate and t is the error correcting capability. In order to design the error trapping decoder, the concept of covering monomial is used and them the decoder system using the (15, 11) Reed-Solomon code is implemented. Without Galois Fiedl multiplication and division circuits, the decoder system is simply constructed. In the decoding process, it takes 60clocks to decode one code word. Two symbol errors and eight binary burst errors are simultaneously corrected. This coding system is shown to be efficient when the channel error probability is approximately from $5{\times}10^-4$~$5{\times}10^-5$.

The purpose of this study is to find out the transition of meaning and terminology of support spaces in Korean houses based on preliminary studies and analysis of Korean novels. The major findings are as follows. The planning and location of the kitchen and its support spaces developed slowly until the 1970s. Buok has been the terminology of support spaces that appeared often and continuously in novels. The word Bongdang was mentioned only before the 1900s. The new words such as Sikdang. Buokaband appeared after the 1960s,. Jubang appeared after the 1980s. The meaning of kitchen space described in novels were various. Thpically the kitchen was used for cooking washing dishes keeping kitchen utensils foods and miscellaneous goods. Exveptionally the kitchen was the place for quarreling with others weeping secretly hiding washing clothes etc. The kitchen was also a symbol of the wealth of the family but many kitchens were usually described in novels as the unpleasant places. Even though most users of the kitchen in novels were women men also used the kitchen in novels were women men also used the kitchen without any restrictions. however the activities of men and women of the upper class in the kitchen were never described in any novels.
