경북지역 결혼이주여성의 영양지식 및 식생활 교육 프로그램 요구도 조사 (Nutrition Knowledge and Need for a Dietary Education Program among Marriage Immigrant Women in Gyeongbuk Region)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide basic materials and assistance for developing a nutritional education program targeting marriage immigrant women, and it was carried out on 86 female marriage immigrants living in the Gyeongbuk region. An average age of the female marriage immigrants who participated in this survey were 28.6 years, and their home countries were the Philippines (32.6%), Vietnam (29.1%), and so on. Exactly 59.3% of subjects had been married for 1~5 years, and 40.7% of the subjects had an education status of less than middle school graduation. The majority of them (65.1%) had one more children, and 51.2% of subjects were a part of a nuclear-family, with the husband's age between 40~49 years old (58.1%). Concern for nutrition label was significantly different according to number of children (P<0.01), period of marriage (P<0.001), and education level (P<0.05). It was demonstrated that a higher level of education was associated with a higher need to learn about nutritional information. Understanding nutritional facts and knowledge was significantly higher among the women with two children than no child (P<0.05), period of marriage >10 years than <1 year (P<0.01), and education level of college & university graduation than less than middle school (P<0.05). Sixty percent of the women surveyed participated in the education program of 'Korean language' as they were in their country, and the most preferred education program was 'Korean dietary life and culture' (39.5%). Regarding participation and educational method, the majority of subjects responded that they wanted to learn nutritional education in a cooking academy or school (52.9%) and public health center (34.1%).

한국 남성의 인구통계학적 특성 요인과 여성 헤어스타일에 대한 선호도와의 상관성 연구 (Demographic Characteristics of Korean Men A Study on Correlation with Preference for Female Hair Style)

  • 본 논문은 연령, 학력, 결혼여부, 직업군, 월평균소득, 거주지 등 한국 남성의 인구통계학적 특성요인과 여성 그레쥬에이션 선호도와의 상관성에 대한 연구이다. 설문지 배포후 수합된 333부의 설문지를 통계분석 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 남성들의 여성 그레쥬에이션 커트 길이 단차에 따른 선호도에 관하여 알아보고, 가장 선호하는 그레쥬에이션 커트형태의 정립화에 기여하고자 한다. 설문지 분석결과 전체 남성의 51.1%가 커트 길이의 단차가 많은 그레쥬에이션형을 선호 하였으며 인구 통계학적 특성에 따라 단차에 대한 선호도에 차이가 나타난 것을 확인 되었다(p<0.05).본 연구를 통해 남성들이 시각적으로 가장 선호하며 아름답다고 보는 여성의 헤어스타일 중 그레쥬에이션 커트스타일에 대한 다각도의 연구가 가능해진다. 또한 헤어살롱에서 고객만족의 중대를 도출해 낼 수 있으며, 여성의 미적인 이미지를 극대화 시키면서 보다 다양하고 응용이 가능한 그레쥬에이션 커트의 변화를 모색할 수 있는 기초지표가 될 것으로 판단된다.

학위복 디자인 연구 -서울여자대학교의 UI를 구현한 학위복 개발을 중심으로- (A Study on Academic Costume Design -Focusing on the Design of Academic Costume Representing the University Identity of Seoul Women's University-)

  • This study aims to develop an academic costume design representing the university identity of Seoul Women's University. As a formal dress and uniform symbolizing the dignity of study, academic costume arouses self-esteem of the owner and represents the symbolic order. UI(University Identity) is a system that embodies the identity of the university and create a certain image, and thus actively delivers the image pursued by the university. The study method to develop a new academic costume design of Seoul Women's University includes the theoretical background of UI and academic costume, investigation on the current rendition of academic costume, home and abroad, and a survey to collect the basic data for academic costume design development. Most of the respondents presented negative opinions on the existing academic costume and graduation cap, which do not show any clear distinction from those of other universities. They made a pressing demand for the development of an academic costume that well represents the image of the university by reflecting the university feature and symbol. As a result of the survey, it turned out that they preferred an academic costume with short length balloon sleeves to the exiting one, and that as for neck line and front hook, those of the existing one were preferred. This study developed and presented 9 different models of graduation gowns and 5 different caps based on the theoretical investigation and survey concerning academic costume. It is expected that the academic costume representing the university identity not only arouses self-esteem of the owner, but also enhances the university's position.

밀레니얼 세대 간호사의 간호근무환경, 직무 착근도, 직업존중감이 재직의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Millennials Generation Nurse's Nursing Work Environment, Job Embeddedness and Job Esteem on Retention Intention)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of the nursing work environment, job embeddedness, and job esteem on the retention intention in the millennial generation nurses. The subjects of this study are nurses working in general hospitals with more than 300 beds. Among nurses born in the 1980s and early 2000s, 97 agreed to study. As a result of the study, there was a significant difference in academic background.(F=6.74, p=.002) In terms of final education, those with graduate or higher were higher than those with three-year graduation and four-year graduation Retention intention is the degree of job placement (r=.319, p=.001), job respect (r=.331, p=.001) had a positive relationship with the nursing working environment (r=-.252, p=.013) was negatively correlated. Factors affecting the retention intention is 12.9% explanatory skills as a result of the introduction of job embeddedness, nursing work environment, and job esteem. It is necessary to understand the characteristics of the generation in order to increase the retention intention as a millennial generation nurse.

학습동기가 시험 스트레스와 스트레스 대처 양식에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Learning Motivation on the Stress Coping Style and Stress of Test)

  • Purpose : In this study, we selected three research subjects to attempt to clear learning motivation of college students is what impact the stress coping style and stress test. First, age, gender, the future career after graduation, the presence or absence of part-time job is, its impact on learning motivation. Second, learning motivation is what effect the stress of the test. Third, based on the motivation of learning, how deal pursuing efforts form the social support, the center of the problem-solving approach, seeking to avoid the reaction to stress how different form. Methods : K University occupational therapy and one, two, three grade 100 students (male 22 people, female 78) to target age, sex, and after graduation, part-time status, motivation, stress, stress coping style questionnaire for distribution and was written. Results : First of all, women's social support form graduation course, more robust than pursue blank after the synchronization uncertainty and stress, and graduated from the trading center and avoid the use of career, more form. Second, motivation and stress test, a difference between the notice could not see. Third, the higher the motivation of learning, problem-solving, Action form to the center to use as many as you, but avoid using too much in the center form is addressed. Conclusion : As a result of the study that came out of the course after graduating from ensure that learning motivation is high, the more the uncertainty, the more to cope with stress in the center of the form to avoid form address was used. Because of this, the student careers after graduation, to make sure that can help you to compare efforts over is believed to be necessary.

농촌 여성 노인의 일상생활수행능력과 우울이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Activity of Daily Living and Depression on Quality of Life among Elderly Women in Rural Areas)

  • Purpose: This study was done to examine factors affecting quality of life among community-dwelling elderly women who live in rural areas. Methods: The design of this research was cross-sectional descriptive study. The participants were 92 community-dwelling women aged 65 or older. Data were collected from November 1 to 15, 2013. ADL (Kart's Index), GDS-SF (Geriatric Depression Scale Short Form) and GQOL (Geriatric Quality of Life Scale) were used to measure variables. Data were collected using self-administered questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, Spearman's coefficient and stepwise multiple regression. Results: The participants' mean age was 77.5, and 85.9% had elementary school graduation or less education, and for 64.1%, their economic status was low. Spearman's rho coefficient analysis found that QOL was significantly associated with depression (r=-.72, p<.001), perceived health (r=.58, p<.001), regular exercise (r=.47, p<.001), education level (r=.29, p=.005), and ADL (r=-.21, p=.043). Multiple regression analysis showed that 65.9% of their QOL was explained by depression (${\beta}=-.72$), perceived health (${\beta}=.24$), ADL (${\beta}=-.16$), exercise (${\beta}=.22$) and number of diseases (${\beta}=.19$). Conclusion: These results indicate that older women who live rural areas need support for ADL, and prevention of depression to improve their quality of life.

Differences in Needs of Continuing Education by Academic Background for Physical Therapists

  • Purpose : The purpose of this paper is to look at educational needs based on the academic background to improve continuing education (CE) for physical therapists in the Republic of Korea. Methods : 350 people who attended the CE were selected for analysis of the need of the education in Gwangju Metropolitan city of the Korean Physical Therapy Association. Final education was classified as college, university, and master of science course (MSc) or higher. The authors selected 11 subjects such as basic education, musculoskeletal system, nervous system, pediatric, cardiopulmonary, sports, senior citizens, physical therapy, women, oriental medicine, and others. Simple linear regression analysis was performed using dummy variable to identify the needs of the CE according to the academic background. Results : The need for CE in the MSc or higher was greater than college graduation in the nervous system (R2=.019, B=.347), pediatric (R2=.028, B=.491), cardiopulmonary system (R2=.038, B=.600), sports (R2=.037, B=.584), geriatric (R2=.030, B=.261), oriental (R2=.033, B=.597), and others (R2=.028, B=.531). University graduation was lower than college graduation in the need of physical agents (R2=.037, B=-.277). Conclusion : Authors infer that CE was not fully satisfied with physical therapists especially according to academic background that's why present study showed no meaningful statistical results were found. Therefore, we still think that a wider survey of CE will be needed, and the efforts are constantly required for both the Korean physical therapy association and people who working as physiotherapists to strengthen their awareness of the education.

외환위기 이후 가구주의 종사상지위 변화유형이 가계소득증감여부에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Worker Status Change Type of the Household Heads on Household Income Since Korean Financial Crisis-excel)

  • This study examined the effects of household head’s worker status change type on household income and household head’s income using a total combined sample of 2,578 households from Korea surveyed in 1998 and 2002 KLIPS(Korean Labor and Income Panel Study). Binary logit regression results showed that household incomes were likely to decrease significantly when household head’s changed worker status from a regular employee, a temporary employee or a daily worker, or an employer or a self-employed to no job status, or from a regular employee to a temporary employee or a daily worker, an employer or a self-employed, or from an employer or a self-employed to a regular employee compared to a regular employee status maintenance. In contrast, household head’s incomes were likely to increase significantly when household head’s changed worker status from a temporary to a regular employee compared to a regular employee status maintenance. Women household heads were significantly associated with the likelihood of the decrease of household head’s income compared to men household heads. Household heads beyond their forties were significantly associated with the likelihood of the decrease of household head’s income compared to household heads in their thirties age-group counterparts. Household heads with education level beyond high school graduation were significantly associated with the likelihood of the increase of household head’s income compared to household heads with the education level of high school graduation. This study shows that a more comprehesive labor policy is needed for achieving sustainable household income inflow.
