We study the structure of rings whose principal right ideals contain a sort of two-sided ideals, introducing right ${\pi}$-duo as a generalization of (weakly) right duo rings. Abelian ${\pi}$-regular rings are ${\pi}$-duo, which is compared with the fact that Abelian regular rings are duo. For a right ${\pi}$-duo ring R, it is shown that every prime ideal of R is maximal if and only if R is a (strongly) ${\pi}$-regular ring with $J(R)=N_*(R)$. This result may be helpful to develop several well-known results related to pm rings (i.e., rings whose prime ideals are maximal). We also extend the right ${\pi}$-duo property to several kinds of ring which have roles in ring theory.

We investigate when the .product of two smooth manifolds admits a weakly Lagrangian embedding. Assume M, N are oriented smooth manifolds of dimension m and n,. respectively, which admit weakly Lagrangian immersions into $C^m$ and $C^n$. If m and n are odd, then $M\;{\times}\;N$ admits a weakly Lagrangian embedding into $C^{m+n}$ In the case when m is odd and n is even, we assume further that $\chi$(N) is an even integer. Then $M\;{\times}\;N$ admits a weakly Lagrangian embedding into $C^{m+n}$. As a corollary, we obtain the result that $S^n_1\;{\times}\;S^n_2\;{\times}\;...{\times}\;S^n_k$, $\kappa$>1, admits a weakly Lagrang.ian embedding into $C^n_1+^n_2+...+^n_k$ if and only if some ni is odd.

A ring $R$ is called semiregular if $R/J$ is regular and idem-potents lift modulo $J$, where $J$ denotes the Jacobson radical of $R$. We give some characterizations of rings $R$ such that idempotents lift modulo $J$, and $R/J$ satisfies one of the following conditions: (one-sided) unit-regular, strongly regular, (unit, strongly, weakly) ${\pi}$-regular.

In several applied disciplines like control engineering, computer sciences, error-correcting codes and fuzzy automata theory, the use of fuzzied algebraic structures especially ordered semi-groups and their fuzzy subsystems play a remarkable role. In this paper, we introduce the notion of (${\in},{\in}{\vee}\bar{q}_k$)-fuzzy subsystems of ordered semigroups namely (${\in},{\in}{\vee}\bar{q}_k$)-fuzzy generalized bi-ideals of ordered semigroups. The important milestone of the present paper is to link ordinary generalized bi-ideals and (${\in},{\in}{\vee}\bar{q}_k$)-fuzzy generalized bi-ideals. Moreover, different classes of ordered semi-groups such as regular and left weakly regular ordered semigroups are characterized by the properties of this new notion. Finally, the upper part of a (${\in},{\in}{\vee}\bar{q}_k$)-fuzzy generalized bi-ideal is defined and some characterizations are discussed.

Huang et al. proved that the n by n upper triangular matrix ring over a domain is weakly reversible-over-center by using the property of regular matrices. In this article we provide a concrete proof which is able to be available in the related study of centers. Next we extend an example of weakly reversible-over-center, which was argued by Huang et al., to the general case.

In this paper the concepts of pure ideals, weakly pure ideals and purely prime ideals in ordered semigroups are introduced. We obtain some characterizations of pure ideals and prove that the set of all pure prime ideals is topologized.

Strong convergence theorem of the explicit viscosity iterative scheme involving the sunny nonexpansive retraction for nonexpansive nonself-mappings is established in a reflexive and strictly convex Banach spaces having a weakly sequentially continuous duality mapping. The main result improves the corresponding result of [19] to the more general class of mappings together with certain different control conditions.

The Alaway's theorem on orthogonality preserving maps [1] is revisited and we provide a new proof of this result, through an original separation property involving regular forms. In fact, we show a light more general result concerning weakly orthogonal sequences(see section 3).
