  • In this paper, we study on C-closed spaces, SC-closed spaces and related spaces. We show that a sequentially compact SC-closed space is sequential and as corollaries obtain that a sequentially compact space with unique sequential limits is sequential if and only if it is C-closed [7, 1.19 Proposition] and every sequentially compact SC-closed space is C-closed. We also show that a countably compact WAP and C-closed space is sequential and obtain that a countably compact (or compact or sequentially compact) WAP-space with unique sequential limits is sequential if and only if it is C-closed as a corollary. Finally we prove that a weakly discretely generated AP-space is C-closed. We then obtain that every countably compact (or compact or sequentially compact) weakly discretely generated AP-space is $Fr\acute{e}chet$-Urysohn with unique sequential limits, for weakly discretely generated AP-spaces, unique sequential limits ${\equiv}KC{\equiv}C-closed{\equiv}SC-closed$, and every continuous surjective function from a countably compact (or compact or sequentially compact) space onto a weakly discretely generated AP-space is closed as corollaries.

  • We show that every ultrapure space is weakly star reducible, and that every countably compact weakly star reducible space is compact. We also pose open problems.

  • In this paper, we introduce the concept of IVF weakly $m^*$-continuous mappings on between IVF minimal spaces and investigate some characterizations for such mappings. Also we study the relationships IVF weakly $m^*$-continuous mappings and IVF M-compactness.

  • Let X be a Banach space satisfying Opial's condition, C a weakly compact convex subset of $X,F:C{\rightarrow}X$ a nonexpansive map, and let $G:C{\rightarrow}X$ be a compact and demiclosed map. We prove that F + G has a fixed point in C if $F+G:C{\rightarrow}X$ is a weakly inward map.

  • We show that on a Hermitian surface M, if M is weakly *-Einstein and has J-invariant Ricci tensor then M is Einstein, and vice versa. As a consequence, we obtain that a compact *-Einstein Hermitian surface with J-invariant Ricci tensor is $K{\ddot{a}}hler$. In contrast with the 4- dimensional case, we show that there exists a compact Einstein Hermitian (4n + 2)-dimensional manifold which is not weakly *-Einstein.

  • In the paper we introduce averages of each type and use these averages to construct examples of weakly compact operators on the space C ($\Omega$) for which the necessary and sufficient conditions that they be compact, absolutely summing or nuclear are distinct. A great number of concrete examples, in various situations, are given.

  • For any completely regular Hausdorff space weighted operator on $C_{b}(X)$ is not necessarily compact. In this paper we find both necessary and sufficient conditions for a weighted operator on $C_{b}(X)$ to be compact. And known results in $uC_{\Phi}$ are shown to emerge as special cases.

  • We show that if $f_{i}$:$X_{i}$ longrightarrow Y is strongly continuous(resp. weakly continuous, set connected, compact, feebly continuous, almost-continuous, strongly $\theta$-continuous, $\theta$-continuous, g-continuous, V-map), then F : $X_1 \bigoplus X_2$longrightarrow Y is strongly continuous(resp.weakly continuous, set connected, compact, feebly continuous, almost-continuous, strongly $\theta$-continuous, $\theta$-continuous, g-continuous, V-map).

  • In this paper, we introduce the concepts of closure and interior defined by an intuitionistic gradation of openness. We also introduce the concepts of weakly gp-maps, gp-open maps and several types of compactness, and obtain some characterizations.
