  • In this paper, we present some common fixed point theorems for two pairs of weakly compatible self-mappings on multiplicative metric spaces satisfying a generalized Meir-Keeler type contractive condition. The results obtained in this paper extend, improve and generalize some well known comparable results in literature.

  • The object of this paper is to establish a unique common fixed point theorem through weak compatibility for a sequence of self-maps satisfying a generalized contractive condition in a generalized Menger space. It improves and generalizes the result of Milovanovic-Arandelovic [2], Vasuki [10] and Sehgal and Bharucha-Reid [8]. All the results presented in this paper are new.

  • We will introduce and study the notion of prime bases for weakly prime submodules and utilize them to derive some formulas on the weak radical of submodules of a module. In particular, we will show that every one dimensional integral domain weakly satisfies the radical formula and state some necessary conditions on local integral domains which are semi-compatible or satisfy the radical formula and also on Noetherian rings which weakly satisfy the radical formula.

  • Weak commutativity of a pair of maps was introduced by Sessa [On a weak commutativity condition of mappings in fixed point considerations. Publ. Inst. Math. (Beograd) (N.S.) 32(40) (1982),149-153] in fixed point considerations. Thereafter a number of generalizations of this notion has been obtained. The purpose of this paper is to present a brief development of weaker forms of commuting maps, and to obtain two fixed point theorems for noncommuting and noncontinuous maps on noncomplete metric spaces.

  • The object of this paper is to introduce the notion of semi-compatible maps in fuzzy metric spaces, fuzzy 2-metric spaces and fuzzy 3-metric spaces and to establish three common fixed point theorems for these spaces for four self-maps. These results improve, extend and generalize the results of [16]. As an application, these results have been used to obtain translation and generalization of Grabeic's contraction principle in the new settings. All the result presented in this paper are new.

  • In this paper we prove common fixed point theorems for three mappings under the condition of weak compatible mappings, without taking any function continuous in fuzzy metric space and then extend this result to fuzzy 2-metric space and fuzzy 3-metric space.

  • In this paper, using the notion of generalized metric (or D-metric) due to Dhage [3], we give new definition of M-fuzzy metric spaces and prove a common fixed point theorem for two mappings under the condition of weak compatible and R-weakly commuting mappings in complete M-fuzzy metric spaces.

  • We consider quasigroups $Q({\Gamma})$ obtained as certain double covers of the symmetric group $S_3$ of degree 3, for directed graphs ${\Gamma}$ on the vertex set $S_3$. We completely characterize the strong compatibility of elements of $Q({\Gamma})$ for any quasigroup nonuniform homogeneous space of degree 4. For such homogeneous spaces, we classify all the strong and weak compatibility graphs of $Q({\Gamma})$.

  • In this paper, several dynamic systems are modeled using the time domain finite element method. Galerkins' Weak Principle is used to model the general second-order mechanical system, and is applied to a simple pendulum dynamics. Problems caused by approximating the final momentum are also investigated. Extending the research, some dynamic analysis methods are suggested for the hybrid coordinate systems that have both slew and flexible modes. The proposed methods are based on both Extended Hamilton's Principle and Galerkin's Weak Principle. The matrix wave equation is propagated in space domain, satisfying the geometric/natural boundary conditions. As a result, the flexible motion can be obtained compatible with the applied control input. Numerical example is shown to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed modeling methods for the hybrid coordinate systems.
