In Response Surface Methodology (RSM), rotatability is a natural and highly desirable property. For second order general correlated regression model, the concept of robust rotatability was introduced by Das (1997). In this paper a new measure of robust rotatability for second order response surface designs with correlated errors is developed and illustrated with an example. A comparison is made between the newly developed measure with the previously suggested measure by Das (1999).

Orders and types of entire and meromorphic functions have been actively investigated by many authors. In the present paper, we aim at investigating some basic properties in connection with sum and product of relative (p, q)-𝜑 order, relative (p, q)-𝜑 type, and relative (p, q)-𝜑 weak type of meromorphic functions with respect to entire functions where p, q are any two positive integers and 𝜑 : [0, +∞) → (0, +∞) is a non-decreasing unbounded function.

Many deterministic systems are described by Ordinary differential equations and can often be improved by including stochastic effects, but numerical methods for solving stochastic differential equations(SDEs) are required, and work in this area is far less advanced than for deterministic differential equations. In this paper,first we follow [7] to describe Runge-Kutta methods with order 2 from Taylor approximations in the weak sense and present two well known Runge-Kutta methods, RK2-TO and RK2-PL. Then we obtain a new 3-stage explicit Runge-Kutta with order 2 in weak sense and compare the numerical results among these three methods.

This paper argues that various kinds of displaced structures in English should be licensed by a more explicitly formulated type of rule schema in order to deal with what is called weak connectivity in English. This paper claims that the filler and the gap site cannot maintain the total identity of features but a partial overlap since the two positions need to obey the structural forces that come from occupying respective positions. One such case is the missing object construction where the subject fillers and the object gaps are to observe requirements that are imposed on the respective positions. Others include passive constructions and topicalized structures. In this paper, it is argued that the feature discrepancy comes from the different syntactic positions in which the fillers are assumed to be located before and after displacement. In order to capture this type of mismatch, syntactically relevant features are handled separately from the semantically motivated features in order to deal with the syntactically imposed requirements.

The frequency of weak children, derived from constitutional and functional factors, has increased recently, but their symptoms have never been observed and analysed. A survey was conducted to evaluate and understand the characteristics of weak children. 311 children who had visited in the weak child clinic of Kyunghee Oriental Medical Hospital from January, 1999 to August, 1999, were the respondents of the Weak Child Questionnaire. They were divided into 4 groups by age and birth weight, and statistical significances were tested by one way analysis of variances and bivariate correlation analysis among groups. The results obtained were as follows: 1. Distribution of sex : male 191 cases, female 120 cases 2. The distribution of age showed the highest in $2{\sim}6$ years(45.3%), followed by $7{\sim}12$ years(31.8%), $0{\sim}1$ years(18.0%), over 13 years(4.8%) in order. There was a statistical difference of all symptoms' mean, except respiratory symptoms, among groups(p<0.01). 3. The distribution of birth weight showed the highest in $2.5{\sim}3.3kg(43.4%)$, followed by $3.3{\sim}4.1kg(39.5%)$, under 2.5kg(5.1%), over 4.lkg(2.1%) in order. There was a statistical difference of digestive symptoms' and total score mean among groups(p<0.01, p<0.05 respectively). 4. The correlation coefficient between general symptoms' mean and other symptoms´ is the highest(p<0.01). From the above results, it was suggested that general symptoms are representative of weak children's characteristics.

The aim of this note is to provide detailed proofs for local estimates near the boundary for weak solutions of second order parabolic equations in divergence form with time-dependent measurable coefficients subject to Neumann boundary condition. The corresponding parabolic equations with Dirichlet boundary condition are also considered.

Let us suppose that ${\mathbb{K}}$ be a complete ultrametric algebraically closed field and $\mathcal{A}$ (${\mathbb{K}}$) be the ${\mathbb{K}}$-algebra of entire functions on K. The main aim of this paper is to study some newly developed results related to the growth rates of iterated p-adic entire functions on the basis of their relative orders, relative type and relative weak type.

In this paper, we introduce a Mann-like three step iteration method and show that it can be used to approximate the fixed point of a weak contraction mapping. Furthermore, we prove that this scheme is equivalent to the Mann iterative scheme. A comparison is made with the other third order iterative methods. Results are presented in a table to support our conclusion.

This paper is devoted to the existence and uniqueness of $L^p$ (p > 1) solutions for general time interval multidimensional backward stochastic differential equations (BSDEs for short), where the generator g satisfies a ($p{\wedge}2$)-order weak monotonicity condition in y and a Lipschitz continuity condition in z, both non-uniformly in t. The corresponding stability theorem and comparison theorem are also proved.
