  • As smart tourism is gaining more attention, there are increasing attempts to make use of augmented reality(AR) in tourism industry. However, existing AR-based tourism contents are only limited to the 'designated' cultural heritage, overlooking the value of undesignated cultural heritage lost in the past few decades of development era. This hinders expanding the scope of tourism contents and leads to the production of banal and similar contents. Given that, our study has developed tourism contents based on , an AR-based mobile application that enables participants to virtually visit the historical sites lost in the development era. The Chungmuro area, which the app is named after, is unique in character. The area has been famous for movie making for over 30 years until the '90s. It is abundant with movie-related cultural resources such as theaters and print shops, which makes the place where people wants to feel the glorious past. Through the app, participants are able to walk along the historic trail and take pictures at five virtual historic spots, among many others. We also examined participants' level of satisfaction and overall tourism experience. By taking the result into account, we hope that the AR-based tourism contents will increase in the future.

  • The commerce and industry of Busan was developed because of good geographical conditions with harbor. After passing its settling-down and diffusing time, Busan has grown in the trade city. Busan has lost the competitive power of the port city since 2000, because of the weakness of its economic power which is caused by the secession of manufacturing industry and the decrease of resident population and foreign tourist. In order to overcome these weaknesses, it is necessary for Busan to take the innovative strategy for the activation of marine tourism. This goal can be achieved by the strong quality of the port city, the coastal terrain, the traditional industry and the international traffic. The aim of this paper is to explore the Innovative Strategy for the activation of marine tourism in Busan and to suggest the following proposal. First, the government must decide the base of marine tourism under the geography viewpoint of the coast and sea, and develope tourism resources after analyzing the identity of marine tourism base. Second, the core part along the selected bases of marine tourism must be constructed the tourism terminal as the landmark of Busan in order to concentrate foreign tourist. Third, after each base of marine tourism must become the resort for tourists, they are able to experience the activity of marine tourism in this resort. Therefore, each base must be specialized. Fourth, each base must be connected with the route of marine tourism Fifth, in order to overcome the off-season of marine tourism, winter tourism goods such as skates, skis, artificial sea-bathing pool, artificial swimming beach, artificial sled, artificial rock wall of coast, hot spring resort of salt water are required to be developed in the center of marine tourism base.

  • The medical tourism industry, a convergence of medical services and tourism, has been getting more and more popularity as a new value-added industry in the 21st century. Accordingly, the number of professional workers within this industry has been increasing, and the role of educational institutions to cultivate well-equipped human resources has also become critical. However, compared to practically activated medical tourism-related education programs, studies investigating the effectiveness of these education programs are relatively rare. Therefore, this study attempts to examine the effect of five dimensions of medical tourism education service quality (i.e., tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy) on learners' education satisfaction and transfer of education training. In addition, the moderating roles of national relations as well as organizational characteristics (i.e., transfer climate and support of supervisors and colleagues) in the relationship between education satisfaction and transfer of education training are further verified. The results of the structural equation model (SEM) using 151 samples from respondents with experience in completing medical tourism education programs reveal that tangibles, reliability, and assurance are found to have a significant impact on education satisfaction, which in turn leads to a high level of transfer of education training. Moreover, it is found that national relations and support of supervisors and colleagues play a moderating role. This study would provide guidelines for improving the efficiency of educational institutions, creating outcomes for learners' affiliated firms (e.g., hospitals), and promoting medical tourism at the national level from the perspective of medical tourism education.

The results are as follows. Superior supply of,7aw materials necessary for production of wood-worked travel souvenir and articles are abundantly available and the dose proximity of 17 existing workshops self-contain the production capacity to sustain the Limited Production method. Furthermore, the regional governing council conveyed positive attitudes towards the prospect of creating a regional production complex of wood-worked travel souvenir and articles. The results demonstrate that the optimal method of maximizing the trend of travel souvenir and articles toward tourism and natural resources is achieved through systematic collaboration of industry, education, and tourism that promote development, production, and merchandising of Inje's regional travel souvenir and articles.
