Parkland, which is one of the pioneer brands in men's fashion in Korea, specifically suits, has recently undertaken bold brand repositioning activities to respond to the fast-changing environment and to overcome limitations in its current image positioning. As a result, in a short time period, Parkland achieved remarkable marketing and communication success. This case study explains how Parkland drew successful brand repositioning from the fierce fashion market. This study systematically analyzes the brand repositioning strategy process and implementation strategy used to resolve the conceptual and structural issues of Parkland as a mature brand. To this end, this study assesses Parkland's brand strategy focusing on brand environment and positioning. Accordingly, the study analyzes the target concept and basic direction of the brand repositioning in terms of the repositioning strategy process, and from an integrated marketing perspective, examines the specific implementation program for repositioning. Finally, the study addresses the outcomes of brand repositioning efforts as well as steps to be taken in the future.

A branchial parasitic bopyrid, Parabopyrella elongata (Shiino, 1949), is newly recorded in Korean fauna. Parabopyrella elongata differs from its congeners by the following characteristics: the head is smooth anteriorly in females; the pleon of females has distinct and wide lateral indentations on both sides; the pleotelson has a rounded distal end in females; oostegite 1 has a rounded posterolateral point; the pleon of males is single-segmented; and the uropod is absent in males. In this study, the detailed description and illustrations of the species are presented with an emended key to known Parabopyrella species in the Far East. The variations in P. elongata were also discussed. This is the first report of the genus Parabopyrella from South Korea.

This study examined how the management of workers for elderly welfare services affects their turnover intention and verified the analysis of mediating effects of organizational commitment and job satisfaction. To this end, the study conducted a survey of 429 workers at elderly care facilities in Gwang-ju and South Jeolla Province. The study shows following results. First, compensation scheme and organizational culture have a significantly positive influence on their organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Second, empowerment, organizational commitment and job satisfaction have a significant positive effect on their turnover intention. To conclude, its findings will help to present reference data for the improvement of job satisfaction of workers for elderly welfare services.

주사슬에 $SO_2$를 포함하고 곁사슬에는 메소겐기을 유연격자에 연결시킨 액정 poly (allylsulfone) network를 합성하여 이들의 기체 투과도 및 선택투과 특성을 조사하였다. 곁사슬에 메톡시를 갖는 단량체I은 한 개의 알릴단위를 갖고, 단량체II는 양쪽 말단에 두개의 알릴 단위를 가져 network 형성을 제어할 수 있도록 구성되었다 가교밀도의 증가는 고분자 network 내의 분자운동을 제한시키며 단량체 II 함량이 5% 이하인 경우는 segment의 운동이 충분히 펼쳐질 수 있어 등방상으로의 상전이가 일어날수 있다. Poly(II-5 $01/I-OCH_3$ 99)의 기체 투과도는 산소($O_2$)의 경우 2.58 barrel 인데 비하여, 수소($H_2$)의 경우는 18.4 barrer로서, 선택 투과도 ${\alpha}(H_2/O_2)$가 7에 가까우며, 또 선택 투과도 ${\alpha}(H_2/N_2)$는 23.9로서 가장 높은 값을 가짐을 관찰하였다. 가교도가 10%로 증가된 Poly(II-5 $10/I-OCH_3$ 90)의 경우 선택 투과도 ${\alpha}(H_2/N_2)$는 36.8로서 가교도 증가에 따르는 선택투과도의 증가를 보여주었다.

This study verified the structural relations among empowering leadership, self-efficacy and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) in social welfare organizations. To this end, the study chose self-efficacy as an intervening variable and OCB as a dependent variable by considering the characteristics of social welfare organizations and their works. The study found that empowering leadership has a significantly positive impact on self-efficacy while both self-efficacy and empowering leadership have a significantly positive impact on OCB. Self-efficacy has meditating effects on the relationship between empowering leadership and OCB. Based on these results, the study suggests policy implications for the improvement of social workers' self- efficacy and OCB through empowering leadership in social welfare centers.

Long Range Wide Area Network (LoRaWAN) is a widely adopted Internet of Things (IoT) protocol due to its high range and lower energy consumption. LoRaWAN utilizes Adaptive Data Rate (ADR) for efficient resource (e.g., spreading factor and transmission power) management. The ADR manages these two resource parameters on the network server side and end device side. This paper focuses on analyzing the ADR and Gaussian ADR performance of LoRaWAN. We have performed NS3 simulation under a static scenario by varying the antenna height. The simulation results showed that antenna height has a significant impact on the packet delivery ratio. Higher antenna height (e.g., 50 m) has shown an improved packet success ratio when compared with lower antenna height (e.g., 10 m) in static and mobility scenarios. Based on the results, it is suggested to use the antenna at higher allevation for successful packet delivery.

Cu metallization using electrochemical plating(ECP) has played an important role in back end of line(BEOL) interconnect formation. In this work, we studied the optimized copper thickness using Bottom-up Gap-fill in Cu ECP, which is closely related with the pattern dependencies in Cu ECP and Cu dual damascene process at 0.13 ${\mu}m$ technology node. In order to select an optimized Cu ECP thickness, we examined Cu ECP bulge, Cu CMP dishing and electrical properties of via hole and line trench over dual damascene patterned wafers split into different ECP Cu thickness.

The present study aims at investigating the style change of the Korean women's traditional costume and analyzing its character in accordance with the social changes during the period from the civilization in 1884 to the present. The design of the tranditional costume which might be formed in the era of the Three Kingdoms had been slowly modified, and the Korean jacket and skirt design was settled in the Chosun period. In the end of the Chosun period, the drastic social changes such as civilization and revolution, together with the introduction of western dresses, affected strongly the traditional costume design. This led to a change from the old dress design to the stylish and practical one because civilized women and high school girls wore the modified costume composed of long jacket and short skirt or western style dresses. In recent years after 1960's Korean women usually wore traditional costumes as ceremonial dresses be-cause the western style dresses replaced the tra-ditional costume in everyday life. After 1970's, however, the A-line silhouette, combined with ornaments, adapted to the traditional costume in order to emphasize women's beauty, thereby resulting in remarkable modification in the tra-ditional costume. In those days, the large pro-duction of various textiles such as nylon and tetron and the appearance of the traditional costume designers played an important role in developing beautiful traditional costume designs and bringing closer together with general public women. These recent design changes might be classified generally by the following three stages ; (1) "the period of settlement" (1965 1975), (2) "the period of maturity" (1976 1985), and (3) "the period of stabilization" (1986 1995). The costume design of each period was discussed and compared in detail according to historical events. From this study, inherent beauty of the Korean traditional costume can be recognized again, and clarified its position as our folkdress. It is also suggested that in future its modification should be achieved continuously in accordance with tra-dition and modern sense.h tra-dition and modern sense.

본 연구는 뉴스 이용자의 사회 신뢰와 갈등 인식이 뉴스 이용에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 국내 거주 20세 이상 69세 이하 성인 548명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 응답자의 정치성향에 따라 사회 갈등의 인식 수준에 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 사회 신뢰 인식이 높을수록 지상파채널, 종합편성채널, 온라인채널의 뉴스 이용이 증가하였다. 셋째, 사회 갈등 인식은 JTBC와 TV조선, 채널A, 유튜브를 통한 뉴스이용에 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 응답자의 연령대와 정치성향도 채널별 뉴스이용에 영향을 미쳤다. 마지막으로, 진보적 성향일수록 JTBC를 통한 뉴스 이용이나 포털에서 뉴스 다시보기가 증가하는 경향성이 발견되었다. 반면에 진보적 성향일수록 지상파3사와 TV조선, 채널A를 통한 뉴스 이용은 감소하였다. 이상의 결과를 통해 본 연구는 다채널 다매체 시대 뉴스환경에 대한 논의를 이용자 중심에서 살펴보고, 개인의 사회 인식이 뉴스 이용에 미치는 영향력의 차이를 발견했다는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다.

Yaksung-ga is a short Chinese poem, written for easy memorizing of properties and effects of various herbal drugs. It is very useful for teaching herbalogy and for using in clinical practice. In spite of its importance, research of the Yaksung-ga is very insufficient. Thus, we investigated literary works of Tingxian Gong and Korean medical books in the late Chosun dynasty, to explain how Yaksung-ga had been received and modified in Korean medicine. Manbinghuichun(萬病回春) and Shoushibaoyuan(壽世保元), the literatures of Tingxian Gong, are the origin of Yaksung-ga. Jejungshinpyun(濟衆新編) is the first book which recorded Yaksung-ga in Korea, having influenced Juchonshinbang(舟村新方) and Euijongsonik(醫宗損益). The classification system of Yaksung-ga was remarkably changed in Euijongsonik, according to the method of Bencaogangmu(本草綱目). And the Yaksung-ga of Bangyakhappyun(方藥合編), which is generally used in Korea at present, was shortened from the form of 8 Chinese characters in each line to 7 characters, so that it can be easily recited. In the end, the authors of Korean medical books selectively cited the Yaksung-ga of Tingxian Gong, and added many novel Yaksung-ga.
