  • This study aims to examine the causal relationshps between self-efficacy and job satisfaction of young farmers by verifying the mediating effect of self-efficacy in the relationship between job ability and job satisfaction of young farmers, and to improve the job ability necessary for agriculture, and to provide implications for the development and operation of curriculum that meets the needs of farmers. To this end, an online survey was conducted on 300 young farmers under the age of 40 among 4-H members in Korea from June 17 to 28, 2022. The results of the analysis to find out the mediating effect of self-efficacy in the relationship between job ability and job satisfaction of young farmers are as follows. First, it was verified that self-efficacy plays a partial mediating role in affecting job satisfaction by verifying whether the job ability of young farmers mediates self-efficacy in the relationship between job satisfaction and job satisfaction. It can be said that the higher the job ability, the more positive the job satisfaction and the more positive the self-efficacy, which ultimately has a positive effect on job satisfaction. Second, as a result of verifying whether self-efficacy is mediated in the relationship between job satisfaction and job satisfaction by sub-factors of job competency in detail, self-efficacy plays a partial mediating role between agricultural production ability, agricultural machine management ability, and job satisfaction, and agricultural management ability and agricultural information utilization ability do not have a direct significant effect on job satisfaction.

  • The study looked into the effect of housing poverty on the depression level for the elderly in depth. In this study, we defined housing poverty as sub-minimum standard housing conditions, excess housing expenditure and housing instability. In order to verify the correlation of two variables, a mediating model structured by social welfare service was used which gave out the 4th Korea welfare panel data. When it came to our research methods, structured equation analysis was applied to verify the mediating effect and theoretical background. The results revealed that housing poverty of the elderly directly affected their depression level. Also the satisfaction of social service showed a partial mediating effect between housing poverty and depression level. But the mediating effect of social service experience between housing poverty and depression level was not statistically significant. The outcome of this study indicated the practical and social intervention to promote a mental health of the elderly by improving residential environment.

For the analysis method, frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, and PROCESS MACRO Model Number 4 were used to verify the mediating effect, and indirect effects and significance were analyzed by applying the Bootstrap technique. The results of the study showed, first, that middle school students' sense of citizenship and community had a positive effect on happiness. Second, in the relationship between civic consciousness and happiness, career decision had a partial mediating effect. Third, in the relationship between community consciousness and happiness, career decision had a partial mediating effect. In other words, it is meaningful in that it presented policy alternatives and practical programs to improve the happiness of middle school students.

  • This study attempts to understand the mediating effect of health self-efficacy in the relationship between health consciousness and health promoting behavior of nursing college students. The subjects of the study were 255 nursing college students attending nursing departments at four universities located in G city and J province. Collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 25.0, and Sobel tests were conducted to verify the mediating effect. As a result, health self-efficacy showed a partial mediating effect between health consciousness and health promoting behavior(Z=5.54, p<.001). The higher the health consciousnes(β=.20, p<.001) and health self-efficacy(β=.39, p<.001), the higher the level of health promoting behavior. And the explanatory power(R2) explaining the health promoting behavior was 48%. Therefore, in order to improve the health promoting behavior of nursing college students, it is necessary to prepare an effective strategy to not only increase health consciousness but also strengthen health self-efficacy at the same time.

  • Purpose: This study aimed to examine the mediating effect of learning immersion in clinical simulations on the relationship between nursing student learning motivation and achievement in clinical simulation. Methods: This study was conducted using a cross-sectional survey with 184 nursing students from two universities who participated in clinical simulation between September and December 2022. The participants completed a self-administered questionnaire, and the collected data were analyzed using independent an independent t-test, Mann-Whitney U-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis to identify the mediating effects of learning immersion on the relationship between nursing student learning motivation and achievement. Results: Among the subvariables of nursing student learning motivation, task value and self-efficacy for learning and performance had a significant effect on learning immersion (respectively, β=.36, p=.001; β=.31, p<.001) and learning achievement (respectively, β=.48, p<.001; β=.38, p<.001). With the input of learning motivation variables, the direct effect of learning immersion on learning achievement was significant (β=.20, p=.003), and the effects of learning motivation and task value and self-efficacy on learning achievement was reduced after controlling for learning immersion, which is a mediating variable (respectively, β=.41, p<.001; β=.32, p<.001). The bootstrapping test to confirm the mediating effect of learning immersion was also significant (task value 95% confidence interval [95% CI], 0.02~0.20; self-efficacy 95% CI, 0.01~0.12). Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that simulation educators should consider learners' motivation and immersion when organizing and operating clinical simulations.

A total of 193 questionnaires were analyzed, and regression analysis was performed to verify the hypothesis, and bootstrapping was performed using the SPSS PROCESS macro model 4 to verify the significance of the mediating effect. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was found that problem-solving ability had a positive(+) effect on major satisfaction. Second, problem-solving ability was found to have a positive(+) effect on all four sub-factors of digital literacy. Third, as a result of analyzing the mediating effect of digital literacy in the relationship between problem-solving ability and major satisfaction, among the four sub-factors of digital literacy, information literacy, critical understanding, and information analysis ability completely mediated between problem-solving ability and major satisfaction. has been shown to be effective. On the other hand, the ability to comply with norms was found to have no mediating effect.
