항공기 유압펌프의 인증시험 항목 및 절차에 대하여 조사하였다. 항공기용 유압펌프는 설계 최적화를 통한 중량 최소화와 인증시험 절차가 매우 중요하다. 본 연구는 통상의 항공용 유압펌프의 기초 성능자료를 가정하고, 이를 토대로 인증시험을 실시할 경우 중요 인증시험의 절차를 제시하였다.

A 67 year old male with postherpetic neuralgia complained of right anterior chest throbbing pain and also allodynia. We performed thoracic epidural block with 0.25% bupivacaine and 1% lidocaine. Oral carbamazepine and imipramine were also administred concomitantly. One month later, patient complained of fatigue, anorexia, pruritis, jaundice, and dark urine. Liver function test values were significantly elevated then. Therefore we removed the epidural catheter and ceased all medication. Liver function test values decreased rapidly after discontinuation of medication. Hepatitis might have developed as result of drugs administered and could have been prevented if the patient had been monitored with regular clinical laboratory follow up. The purpose of this case report is emphasize the importance of early regular laboratory test to detect any possible side effect that may occur by administration of drugs during treatment of chronic pain.

In this paper we report test results of the dynamic characteristics of the linear induction motor(LIM) used for propulsion of the UTM-01. To test a vehicle scale LIM, we manufactured a bogie type sled propelled by LIM. In this report, the LIM end effects for both cases when the vehicle is at rest and when the vehicle is running were measured and compared with the calculations. The LIM thrust and the vertical forces were measured by the 3-component load cell and the results were compared with the calculations from measured vertical load and vehicle velocity.

A 10-year-old male neutered Labrador Retriever presented with a history of acute-onset tachypnoea, lethargy and anorexia. The dog was pyrexic, tachypnoeic and dyspnoeic on examination. A rapid antigen test for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) was performed on an oropharyngeal swab and yielded a positive result. SARS-CoV-2 infection was subsequently confirmed by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) analysis. Both of the dog's owners had positive rapid antigen test and RT-PCR analysis results for SARS-CoV-2. Additional diagnostics included computed tomography. Resolution of the dog's clinical signs was achieved with symptomatic treatment.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of experimenter gender on pain report as well as the sex differences in pain threshold and pain tolerance. Cold pressor test and pressure pain threshold (PPT) test were performed on forty dental students by both of a male and a female experimenter separately with 1 day interval. The obtained results were as follows : There were no differences in pain threshold and pain tolerance between males and females when they were examined by the same gender experimenter in the cold pressor test, but when they were examined by the opposite gender experimenter the pain threshold of males was significantly higher than females. When the pain threshold was measured by the same gender experimenter, using a algometer, there was no differences in PPT between males and females. However, when the same measurements were done by the opposite gender experimenter, the PPT of males was significantly higher than females at anterior temporalis and inferior masseter. For cold pressor test, females tended to report lower levels of pain threshold and pain tolerance to a male experimenter than a female, but the differences were not significant. Although both pain threshold and pain tolerance were increased when males were examined by a female experimenter in the cold pressor test, the statistical significance was found only in pain tolerance. When subjects were examined by the opposite gender experimenter in the PPT text, females reported significantly higher levels of pain at inferior masseter and males reported significantly lower levels of pain at anterior temporalis and inferior masseter.

Objective: A general prejudice exists that all herbal medicines are not good for liver. We report that herbal medicine can have positive effects on the liver, based on the improved liver function test levels observed in one patient. We also suggest the effectiveness of co-administration of herbal and western medicines. Methods: We checked the liver function test levels of one patient measured on 12 July at another hospital. We identified worse levels on 7 August, when he was first admitted to Semyung University Hospital. We measured liver function test levels of the same patient after treatment with Korean herbal medicine on 14 and 21 August during hospitalization at Semyung Hospital. We compared the figures and evaluated the effectiveness of 'Saenggangeonbi-tang' herbal medicine in the liver. Results: The patient's liver function test levels were normal on 12 July, but had become abnormal by 7 August, when he was admitted to Semyung Hospital. The cause of liver dysfunction was suggested as Atorvastatin, one of the western drugs he had started to take. Continuous treatment with Korean herbal medicine resulted in a definite improvement in liver function. Conclusion: Korean herbal medicine can provide positive improvements in liver function test levels.

한국군의 군수품 품질보증활동의 일환으로 시험성적서 정보서비스(TRIS)를 통한 시험성적의 신뢰성 확보가 전 분야 및 영역에서 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 군수품 품질보증기관, 시험분석기관, 계약 및 협력업체의 설문조사를 통하여 TRIS에 대한 사용자 만족도를 파악하고, 사용자 그룹별 상세 분석을 통해 개선사항 및 발전방안을 도출하였다. 설문 문항은 Delone과 McLean의 정보시스템 성공모형 모델을 변형하여 작성하였으며, 3개 사용자 그룹 183명에 대하여 수행되었다. 전체 설문분석결과 3개 사용자 그룹에서 모두 시스템교육에 대한 요구가 높았으며, 사용자 그룹별 업무처리 방식에 따라 전반적 시스템의 이해도와 숙련도가 다른 것으로 조사되었다. 사용자 그룹별 세부분석결과, 국방품질보증기관의 경우 군수품의 분야별 계약업체 특성에 따라 사용자를 위한 기능강화가 요구되었으며, 시험기관의 경우 공인기관 인증형태에 따라 TRIS와의 연계방법이 요구되었다. 또한, 업체 사용자 그룹의 경우 계약업체와 협력업체가 TRIS를 운용하는 방식에 차이를 보였으며, 지속적 교육을 통한 협력업체의 인력운용지원이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구 결과는 향후 전 군의 군수품 신뢰성 확보를 위한 국방품질종합정보체계 구축의 기초자료로써 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

최근 원자력발전소의 안전계통 소프트웨어는 신뢰성을 향상시키기 위해 ANSI/IEEE-ANS-7-4.3.2-1982 기준에 따라 확인 및 검증이 이루어지고 있다. 이 규정은 안전관련 소프트웨어가 정적 및 동적 환경에서 시험되어야 한다고 요구하고 있다. 부적절노심냉각감시계통의 경우에 정적시험 절차 및 관련기술들은 개발되었으나 동적시험 절차 및 관련기술들은 개발되지 않았다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 미개발된 기술들을 논의하고, 동적시험 절차와 시험 입력자료 생성 프로그램을 제안한다. 이 프로그램의 성능은 울진 3,4호기 최종 안전성 분석 보고서의 사고해석 결과를 사용하여 확인하였다.

Objectives: The purpose of this case report are to introduce an Anaphylaxis occurred when using Sweet Bee Venom (SBV) and common Bee Venom (CBC) at the same time and a risk when used SBV and CBC together without skin test. Methods: A patient, an Anaphylaxis occurred when treated her with SBV and CBC at the same time without additional skin test, we observed the progress of the Anaphylaxis with care for her. Results & Conclusions: The Anaphylaxis in the patient was taken a turn for the better by emergency response. Based on this case, Sometimes the use of SBV and CBC at the same time without skin test can be dangerous, and to avoid the risk when used CBC together, in advance allergy test should be conducted.

Purpose: The purposes of this study were to examine a attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavior control, intention to report child abuse and to identify predictors of emergency room (ER) nurses' intention to report child abuse cases. Methods: A total of 364 nurses in ER participated in this study. Data were collected by self-administered questionnaire and analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test or ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Results: 84.1 % of emergency room nurses reported feeling of obligation to report child abuse. Attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavior control were positively correlated with intention to report child abuse. Intention to report child abuse was predicted by emergency room nurse's attitude, perceived behavior control, subjective norm, ER nurse career, and recognition as a reporting obligator. Conclusion: Child abuse education program should be developed to help ER nurses to report child abuse case and positive attitude toward reporting the cases.
