  • Oh (2009) has proposed a likelihood ratio test for comparing two agreements for dependent observations based on the concept of marginal homogeneity and marginal stochastic ordering. In this paper we consider the comparison of more than two agreement measures. Simple ordering and simple tree ordering among agreement measures are investigated. Some test procedures, including likelihood ratio test, are discussed.

  • Experimenters often want to test whether a specific treatment is really better than the others. In such a problem we derive the likelihood ratio test and compare the result with other multiple comparisons procedures. A nonparametric procedure based on ranks is also considered. Pitman efficiency of the rank-sum procedure relative to the likelihood ratio test is computed.

  • These Study are for the development of the reliability assessment test code and test equipment and test procedures of the heavy sluice gate hydraulic cylinder. Because there is no reliability test code for the heavy sluice gate hydraulic cylinder inside and outside of the country, the modified reliability test code is made reference for the related existing standards like as ISO, JIS, MIL, TUV, DIN, KS and etc. In this study, the novel method is proposed to evaluate efficiency of the heavy sluice gate hydraulic cylinder on the loading conditions and established the conditions of the acceleration life test to reduce the testing time and cycles. The testing equipments for life test, lode operating test, high and low temperature test and salt spray test have been established for 8 month, and the reliability tests are accomplished. The test results of the heavy sluice gate hydraulic cylinder which is produced and tested initially in Korea are satisfied the durability life cycle on the using conditions.

  • This study shows systematic procedures for investigating creep and shrinkage properties of 50, 60, 70 MPa concrete mixes, which were developed by Lotte E&C R&D Ins. for Lotte Super Tower Jamsil. The concrete test was performed both local and foreign laboratory, S-Lab. and CTL Group respectively. The former have done for total five days. The procedures included the followings, specimen fabrication, mold removal, specimen marking, water bath curing, packaging, and shipment. The latter has been doing by CTL within PCA(Portland Cement Association). They are testing on static and dynamic modulus of elasticity, compressive strength, creep & shrinkage, splitting tensile strength. In the case of creep and shrinkage, the test will be doing for 18 months according to each loading age.

  • In this research, a new Test and Evaluation (T&E) procedure for defense AI systems is proposed to fill the existing gap in established methodologies. This proposed concept incorporates a data-based performance evaluation, allowing for independent assessment of AI model efficacy. It then follows with an on-site T&E using the actual AI system. The performance evaluation approach adopts the project promotion framework from the defense acquisition system, outlining 10 steps for R&D projects and 9 steps for procurement projects. This procedure was crafted after examining AI system testing standards and guidelines from both domestic and international civilian sectors. The validity of each step in the procedure was confirmed using real-world data. This study's findings aim to offer insightful guidance in defense T&E, particularly in developing robust T&E procedures for defense AI systems.

  • Shear test procedure for concrete-dowel interaction was proposed along with determination of dowel support reaction factor or shear spring stiffness constant using the spreadsheet example. For this task, three AASHTO-type standard specimens were prepared to simulate behavior of the jointed concrete pavement. A side support system was adopted to minimize twisting of the test specimen which had been observed in a preliminary test. A typical elastic behavior of the dowel-concrete interaction was observed from several test loops of loading, unloading and reloading procedures. However load versus slab displacement represents to be nonlinear. Test results show that the dowel support reaction factor ranges from 550-880 GN/m3, which is 1.4-2.2 times greater than 407GN/m3 proposed by Yoder and Witczak. This is because less torsional distraction was occurred with the help of a side support system adopted in this experiment. The dowel support reaction factor or shear spring stiffness constant obtained from the procedures proposed in this paper may be used as a reference data for the structural analysis of jointed concrete pavement.

  • This paper discuss the Qualification Test Procedure which is composed of main functional and environmental tests for the localizing avionics and subsystems, especially the detail test approaches of General Avionics Computed(GAC) through the analysis of related technical data packages for the purpose of performance proof of final products. Quality assurance procedures are properly established with the several kinds of inspections and functional test items. They are called as process inspections, functional test, acceptance test procedure and qualification test procedure. The Qualification test procedure are composed of the analysis of original engineering design concept and shall be performed for the acquisition of the certification of the GAC's quality as well as the aquisition of the related techniques and engineering know-how items.

  • This paper describes the slaughter check results of breeding pigs from the Korean Swine Testing Station for the control of endemic diseases. Gross lesions monitored in the present study included those conditions commonly associated with economically significant subclinical herd infections: enzootic pneumonia, pleuropneumonia, pleuritis, atrophic rhinitis, liver white spots, papular dermatitis and ileitis. A total of 128 slaughter pigs were investigated at 4 subsequent tests according to the slaughter check procedures established. The prevalence of enzootic pneumonia, pleuropneumonia and pleuritis in the initial test was 67.9%, 28.6% and 17.9%, respectively. However, these were decreased to 46.7%, 6.7% and 6.7%, respectively, in the last test after implementation of counter measures including clean-up protocols and medication programs (p > 0.05). The mean pneumonic score also significantly decreased from 6.8 in the initial test to 2.8 in the last test. The prevalence of atrophic rhinitis (${\geq}score\;2$) was 32.2% and mean atrophic rhinitis score of 1.1 were recorded. However, no significant improvement of conditions was achieved with the counter measures indicating that atrophic rhinitis was originated from the source herds and lesions developed early in the life. In the initial test, prevalence of liver white spots and papular dermatitis lesions was 21.4% and 25.0%, respectively. These conditions were cleaned by the implementation of parasite control measures with all-in all-out, strict clean-up protocols and proper medications adopted in the present study (liver white spots, p = 0.0124; papular dermatitis lesions, p = 0.0055). The prevalence of ileitis lesions in slaughter pigs from the initial test was 28.6%, it could be gradually reduced by the use of repeated treatments and control measures but the effect was not so significant (p > 0.05). In conclusion, slaughter check procedures were successfully established and applied for the control of endemic diseases in the Korean Swine Testing Station.

  • It is very important for the manufacturers to predict the life of hydraulic system components according to the results of life tests. Since it takes too much time to test the hydraulic system components until failure, the no-failure test method is applied for the life test of them. If the shape parameter of Weibull distribution, the number of samples, the confidence level, and the assurance life are given, the no-failure test times of hydraulic system components can be calculated by given equation. Here, the procedures to obtain the no-failure test times of the hydraulic system components such as hydraulic motors and pumps, hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic valves, hydraulic accumulators, hydraulic hoses, and hydraulic filters are described briefly.
