The Effect of Balance between General Walking Exercise and Power Walking Exercise

  • This study aims to compared effect of balance between general walking exercise and power walking exercise. Twenty subjects were classified into two groups, general walking exercise(n=10) and power walking exercise(n=10). As a result, two group showed difference within the group and there is significant difference between two groups. 1) In compared static balance of sway area at pre-post test to exercise group, general walking exercise group did not change significantly. however, power walking exercise group did change significantly. and At sway distance, two group showed significant changes. 2) In compared Static balance between the groups sway area and sway path at pre-post test, two group showed significant changes. 3) In compared dynamic balance of center distance at pre-post test to exercise group, general walking exercise group was no significant difference in all directions. power walking exercise group was significant difference in all directions. 4) In compared dynamic balance between the groups sway area and sway path at pre-post test, there was no significant difference in leftward, rightward, forward directions and was significant difference in backward, overall direction. Therefore, power walking exercise can be recommended promote balance.

테스트 시간과 테스트 전력 감소를 위한 선택적 세그먼트 바이패스 스캔 구조 (Selective Segment Bypass Scan Architecture for Test Time and Test Power Reduction)

  • 스캔 기반 테스트 방법은 큰 순차 회로를 테스트하기 위한 매우 효율적이며 널리 사용되는 방법이다. 그러나 스캔 기반 테스트 방법은 테스트 패턴을 긴 스캔 체인을 통해서 순차적으로 인가해야 하기 때문에 긴 테스트 인가 시간을 필요로 한다. 또한, 스캔 쉬프트 동작이 정상 동작과 비교할 때 전력 소모를 급격히 증가시킨다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서, 본 논문에서는 테스트 패턴 인가 시간과 테스트시의 전력 소모를 줄이기 위한 새로운 스캔 구조를 제안한다. 제안하는 스캔 구조는 스캔 체인을 여러 개의 세그먼트로 분할하고 specified bit를 포함하지 않는 세그먼트들을 바이패스 한다. 바이패스 되는 스캔 세그먼트들은 테스트 패턴 인가 동작에서 제외되기 때문에 테스트 패턴 인가 시간과 테스트시의 소모 전력이 상당히 줄어들게 된다.

IEC60364-4-44의 국내 배전계통 적용을 위한 실증시험 (Field Test on IEC60364-4-44 for the Application in Korean distribution system)

  • The authors have studied on the application of IEC 60364-4-44 to Korean electrical installations of buildings from 2004 sponsored by Korean ministry of commerce, industry and energy and the test field is established in K.E.R.I. (Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute). This paper presents the summary results of establishment of test field and analysis for the application of IEC 60364 in Korea. IEC 60364-4-44 provides rules for the protection against the effects of conducted and radiated disturbances on electrical installations. Especially this standard deals with the protection of low voltage facility against the ground fault in the high voltage side of power distribution system. Many countries define the regulations on the use and production of electrical facilities based on their own power system and technical references which are considered to be suitable for them. The background of circuit of IEC 60364-4-44 is based on the ungrounded system as most of European countries. However, since Korean electric power distribution system is based on multi-grounding system different from European system, it is necessary to evaluate or prove the effect of the IEC 60364-4-44 for introducing and applying it to the domestic grounding system as a Korean standard. This paper presents the establishment of test field to get background data to introduce the IEC 60364-4-44 and to evaluate the standard is applicable to domestic rule for the protection against ground fault through the related test

공진회로를 이용한 대용량 인버터 구성용 밸브 및 폴 시험설비에 관한 연구 (A Test System of Valve and Poles for Large Scale Inverter using Resonant Circuit)

  • This paper proposes a test system for a valve and poles building blocks used for large scale inverters such as STATCOM, SSSC, UPFC and VSC HVDC. Power semiconductors in the valve are normally connected in series to withstand switching voltage much larger than the voltage rating of a single power semiconductor. Therefore, there is a need to verify if the dynamic voltage sharing during switching in a valve is satisfactory. In this paper, we propose a test system that provides the necessary test condition: voltage and current in the valve using resonant circuits. A test scheme for a single phase inverter consisting two poles is also proposed. The performance of the inverter pole has to be verified at the factory test, before the system is installed at the site to secure the reliability of the system. The proposed scheme makes it possible to confirm if the pole can withstand voltage and current switching condition and handle loss.

  • In this paper, we propose a low power Scan-based Built-ln Self Test based on circuit partitioning and pattern suppression using modified test control unit. To partition a CUT(Circuit Under Testing), the MHPA(Multilevel Hypergraph Partition Algorithm) is used. As a result of circuit partition, we can reduce the total length of test pattern, so that power consumptions are decreased in test mode. Also, proposed Scan-based BIST architecture suppresses a redundant test pattern by inserting an additional decoder in BIST control unit. A decoder detects test pattern with high fault coverage, and applies it to partitioned circuits. Experimental result on the ISCAS benchmark circuits shows the efficiency of proposed low power BIST architecture.

장기 신뢰성 평가를 위한 태양전지의 열충격 시험 특성에 관한 연구 (The Study on Thermal Shock Test Characteristics of Solar Cell for Long-term Reliability Test)

  • 본 연구에서는 PV(photovoltaic)모듈에서 경년에 따른 효율 저하의 원인을 분석하기 위해 셀 레벨에서의 열충격 시험을 수행하였다. 열충격 시험의 조건은 $-40^{\circ}C$에서 $85^{\circ}C$로 각각 15분씩 30분을 1사이클로 하였으며, 열충격 시험 500 사이클 동안 100 사이클 간격으로 EL분석 및 I-V분석을 수행하였다. 효율 감소율은 단결정 Bare Cell이 8%, Solar Cell이 9%였으며, 다결정 Bare Cell이 6%, Solar Cell이 13%의 감소율을 보였다. 열충격 시험 후 Solar Cell은 표면 손상으로 인한 효율저하를 확인할 수 있었다. Bare Cell의 경우 표면의 손상이 없었지만, 효율이 저하된 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 Fill Factor 분석에 의해 경년 시 나타나는 누설전류에 의한 소모전력 증가로 효율 저하에 영향을 준 것으로 판단된다. 또한, Bare Cell보다 Solar Cell에서의 효율 감소율이 상대적으로 높게 나타난 결과는 표면 손상 및 소모 전력의 증가로 인해 Solar Cell 효율에 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 판단된다. 향후 단면 분석법 및 다양한 조건의 시험 기법을 활용하여 PV모듈 뿐 아니라 Cell 레벨에서의 불규칙한 효율 및 Fill Factor의 감소 원인을 검토하고, Solar Cell에서의 효율 저하가 가속되는 원인에 대한 대책 방안 연구가 수행되어야 할 것이다.

  • 현재 신 재생에너지 보급사업에 의해 설치되고 있는 태양광전원설비가 전력계통과 연계 운영될 경우 배전계통의 전력품질 요소에 어떠한 영향을 미치고 있는지를 모의시험을 통해 정확히 측정 분석하여 향후 분산형전원의 확대 보급에 따른 가이드라인의 구축과 기술적인 연계지침이 필요한 상황이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 태양광이 연계되는 위치에 따른 선로임피던스($R{\pm}jX$)에 의하여 생기는 전압상승 및 하강에 의한 전력품질[Sag/Swell] 저하 현상에 대하여 태양광전원용 LabVIEW 프로그램을 통해 전력품질 시험을 수행하여 그 특성을 분석한다.

Performance Evaluation of a Driving Power Transmission System for 50 kW Narrow Tractors

  • Purpose: The development of compact tractors that can be used in dry fields, greenhouses, and orchards for pest control, weeding, transportation, and harvesting is necessary. The development and performance evaluation of power transmission units are very important when it comes to tractor development. This study evaluates the performance of a driving power transmission unit of a 50 kW multi-purpose narrow tractor. Methods: The performance of the transmission and forward-reverse clutch, which are the main components of the driving power transmission unit of multi-purpose narrow tractors, was evaluated herein. The transmission performance was evaluated in terms of power transmission efficiency, noise, and axle load, while the forward-reverse clutch performance was evaluated in terms of durability. The transmission's power transmission efficiency accounts for the measurement of transmission losses, which occur in the transmission's gear, bearing, and oil seal. The motor's power was input in the transmission's input shaft. The rotational speed and torque were measured in the final output shaft. The noise was measured at each speed level after installing a microphone on the left, right, and upper sides. The axle load test was performed through a continuous equilibrium load test, in which a constant load was continuously applied. The forward-reverse clutch performance was calculated using the engine torque to axle torque ratio with the assembled engine and transmission. Results: The loss of power in the transmission efficiency test of the driving power unit was 6.0-9.7 kW based on all gear steps. This loss of horsepower was equal to 11-18% of the input power (52 kW). The transmission efficiency of the driving power unit was 81.5-89.0%. The noise of the driving power unit was 50-57 dB at 800 rpm, 70-77 dB at 1600 rpm, and 76-83 dB at 2400 rpm. The axle load test verified that the input torque and axle revolutions were constant. The results of the forward-reverse clutch performance test revealed that hydraulic pressure and torque changes were stably maintained when moving forward or backward, and its operation met the hydraulic design standards. Conclusions: When comprehensively examined, these research results were similar to the main driving power transmission systems from USA and Japan in terms of performance. Based on these results, tractor prototypes are expected to be created and supplied to farmhouses after going through sufficient in-situ adaptability tests.

틸트-덕트 수직이착륙 비행로봇의 동력계통 개발 (Development of Power System for the Tilt-duct VTOL Aerial Robot)

  • 본 논문은 틸트-덕트 수직이착륙 비행로봇을 위한 동력계통의 설계, 개발 및 시험 결과를 기술한다. 본 연구에서는 R/C 모터보트에 적용되는 소형 수냉식 엔진을 이용하여 비행로봇의 탑재 및 비행체와 인터페이스에 대한 하드웨어 개발 사항을 기술하였다. 또한 지상시험과 안전줄 시험을 통해 비행체의 추력 성능을 측정하고 동력계통의 내구성 결과가 제시되었다.

구형 간극에서의 임계 출력에 대한 상관식 개발 (Correlation Development on Critical Power in a Spherical Narrow Gap)

  • The CHFG (Critical Heat Flux in Gap) test results have been evaluated to quantify the critical power in hemispherical narrow gaps and a new correlation has been developed. The CHFG test results have shown that increases in the gap thickness and pressure lead to an increase in critical power. The pressure effect on the critical power was found to be much milder than predictions by CHF correlations of other researches. From the CHFG test results, a new correlation on critical power in the hemispherical gap has been developed using the non-dimensional parameters as follows: $$\frac{qCHF}{{\rho}g^hfg}{\cdot}4\sqrt{\frac{{\rho}_g^2}{g{\sigma}{\Delta}{\rho}}=\frac{0.1042}{1+0.1375({\rho}g/{\rho}l)^{0.21}(D/s)}$$ The developed correlation has been expanded to apply the spherical geometry using the Siemens/KWU's correlation.
