취소된 서술 행위와 표적 이동 (Cancelled Predication and Target-Shifting)

  • 강진호는 강진호(2017)에서 취소된 서술 행위 개념을 이용하여 프레게-기치 문제를 해결하려는 행크스의 시도를 설득력 있게 비판하였다. 행크스는 솜즈의 서술 행위 개념이 정합적이지 않다고 비판하는데, 그의 논증이 성공적이라면 행크스의 취소된 서술 행위 개념도 비정합성에 직면한다는 것이다. 필자는 강진호의 비판이 설득력 있다고 생각하며, 행크스의 대응도 불만족스럽다고 생각한다. 그러나 필자가 보기에 행크스는 강진호의 비판을 극복할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 필자는 행크스 이론에 담긴 개념적 자원을 이용하여 강진호의 비판을 극복하는 방식으로 행크스의 이론을 재구성한다. 특히, 취소 맥락에서 수행된 서술 행위 사례가 진리치를 결여할지라도 그것이 속한 유형으로 표적이동을 야기하기 때문에 최종적인 서술 행위는 해당 유형의 진리치로부터 합성적으로 설명된다는 것이 핵심적인 아이디어이다. 비록 행크스 자신이 취소된 서술 행위와 표적 이동에 관해 불명확하고 때로는 혼란스러운 언급을 하지만, 그는 이를 통해 프레게-기치 문제를 성공적으로 해결할 수 있다. 이 과정에서 행크스의 표기법이 지닌 문제도 드러날 것이다.

A novel hybrid method for robust infrared target detection

  • Effect and robust detection of targets in infrared images has crucial meaning for many applications, such as infrared guidance, early warning, and video surveillance. However, it is not an easy task due to the special characteristics of the infrared images, in which the background clutters are severe and the targets are weak. The recent literature demonstrates that sparse representation can help handle the detection problem, however, the detection performance should be improved. To this end, in this text, a hybrid method based on local sparse representation and contrast is proposed, which can effectively and robustly detect the infrared targets. First, a residual image is calculated based on local sparse representation for the original image, in which the target can be effectively highlighted. Then, a local contrast based method is adopted to compute the target prediction image, in which the background clutters can be highly suppressed. Subsequently, the residual image and the target prediction image are combined together adaptively so as to accurately and robustly locate the targets. Based on a set of comprehensive experiments, our algorithm has demonstrated better performance than other existing alternatives.

한국 여성복 브랜드의 치수 체계 실태에 관한 연구 (A Study on Actual Condition of Sizing System of Women′s RTW Apparel Brands in Korea)

  • The manufacturer first identifies a target market before developing a sizing chart. A target market is specific for age or figure type. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the suitability of sizing system of women's apparel brand in Korea. For this purpose, the characteristics of the manufacture's sizing chart for jacket and skirt/pants were analyzed. For each brand, the target age of the brand and the age of consumers who preferred that bland were compared. The size charts collected from 27 women's apparel brands were analyzed and compared with Korean industrial standard sifting chart. The results of this study reviled that the body proportion in many manufacturer's sizing chart does not correspond to the body types in Korean industrial standard sizing chart. This trend was apparent for the short figure sizes made for women 155cm in height. There is a difference between the target age in brand concept and the age of consumer preferring to purchase that brand apparel. The age of fitting models usually does not correspond the customer's age. It was concluded that the age of target customer does not go well with the age of brand concept nor the fitting model age caused fit problem of the women's ready-made clothes.

  • In this paper, the design method of target tracking systems using the extended $H^{\infty}$ filter(EHF) is proposed. Usually, a Cartesian coordinate frame is tell suited to describe the target dynamics. However, the measurements made in radar-centered polar coordinates are expressed as nonlinear equations in Cartesian coordinates. Thus the tacking problem is concerned with the nonlinear estimation. The extended $H^{\infty}$ filter is able to deal with the problems arising in the target tacking systems such as the parameter uncertainty included inevitably in modeling physical systems mathematically, the unavailableness of the stochastic information about exogenous disturbances, and errors due to the linearization of measurement equations. We show the proposed filter is robuster than the extended Kalman filter(EKF) through a simple target tracking example.

Pre-processing Faded Measurements for Bearing-and-Frequency Target Motion Analysis

  • An ownship with towed array sonar (TAS) has limited maneuvers due to its dynamic feature, bearing and frequency measurements of a target which are not detected continuously but are often lost in ocean environment. We propose a pre-processing algorithm for the faded bearing and frequency measurements to solve the BFTMA problem of TAS under limited detection conditions. The proposed pre-processing algorithm to restore the faded bearing and frequency measurements is implemented to perform a BFTMA filter even if the measurements of a target are not continuously detected. The Modified Gain Extended Kalman Filter (MGEKF) method based on the Interacting Multiple Model (IMM) structure is applied for a BFTMA filter algorithm to estimate the target. Simulations for the various conditions were carried out to verify the applicability of the proposed algorithms, and confirmed superior estimation performance compared with the existing Bearings-Only TMA (BOTMA).

  • 현재 사용되고 있는 소형 레이더 장치는 타선의 진운동정보(진침로, 진속력)나 충돌회피정보(CPA, TCPA) 및 주위 상황 변화에 대한 다양한 물표 정보를 제공할 수 없는 문제가 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 문제에 주목하여 일반 소형 어선에 탑재되어 있는 저가형의 소형 레이더 장치로부터 analog video signal, trigger, bearing 및 heading pulse를 공급받아 현용의 자동 레이더 플롯팅 장치(Automatic Radar Plating Aid, ARPA) 레이더에서 제공하는 수준의 각종 정보를 정량적으로 추출 및 제공할 수 있는 레이더 목표 추출 장치(Radar Target Extractor, RTE)를 개발하여 소형 레이더 장치에 부착시켜 소형 연근해 어선에서도 타선의 진운동정보 및 충돌회피 정보와 같은 항해 정보를 수집, 활용할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • 본 연구는 정시성의 목표값이 운영 요구조건으로 주어지고 이를 달성하지 못한 해당연도에는 철도운영자에게 패널티가 부과되는 상황에서 철도시스템의 신뢰도 목표값을 설정하는 문제를 다룬다. 철도시스템의 신뢰도에 따라 총 운영기간동안 패널티 부과 회수가 달라지기 때문에 철도운영자는 이를 고려하여 철도시스템 및 하위시스템에 대해 신뢰도 목표값을 설정할 필요가 있다. 본 논문은 철도운영자가 운영기간 동안의 패널티 부과회수를 고려하여 철도시스템의 서비스 신뢰도 목표로 설정할 수 있도록 철도시스템 및 하위시스템의 서비스 고장 간 거리에 따라 연간 패널티 부과 확률 및 철도시스템의 운영연수 동안 패널티 부과 회수를 산출하는 절차 및 계산식을 제안한다.

  • In this paper, we propose the design methodology of target tracking system using fuzzy basis function expansion (FBFE) based on virus evolutionary genetic algorithm(VEGA). In general, the objective of target tracking is to estimate the future trajectory of the target based on the past position of the target obtained from the sensor. In the conventional and mathematical nonlinear filtering method such as extended Kalman filter (EKF), the performance of the system may be deteriorated in highly nonlinear situation. To resolve these problems of nonlinear filtering technique, by appling artificial intelligent technique to the tracking control of moving targets, we combine the advantages of both traditional and intelligent control technique. In the proposed method, after composing training datum from the parameters of extended Kalman filter, by combining FBFE, which has the strong ability for the approximation, with VEGA, which prevent GA from converging prematurely in the case of lack of genetic diversity of population, and by identifying the parameters and rule numbers of fuzzy basis function simultaneously, we can reduce the tracking error of EKF. Finally, the proposed method is applied to three dimensional tracking problem, and the simulation results shows that the tracking performance is improved by the proposed method.

  • This work is concerned with the problem of tracking a maneuvering target. In this paper, an error monitoring and recovery method of perception net is utilized to improve tracking performance for a highly maneuvering tar-get. Many researches have been performed in tracking a maneuvering target. The conventional Interacting Multiple Model (IMM) filter is well known as a suboptimal hybrid filter that has been shown to be one of the most cost-effective hybrid state estimation scheme. The subfilters of IMM can be considered as fusing its initial value with new measurements. This approach is also shown in this paper. Perception net based error monitoring and recovery technique, which is a kind of geometric data fusion, makes it possible to monitor errors and to calibrate possible biases involved in sensed data and extracted features. Both detecting a maneuvering target and compensating the estimated state can be achieved by employing the properly implemented error monitoring and recovery technique. The IMM filter which employing the error monitoring and recovery technique shows good tracking performance for a highly maneuvering target as well as it reduces maximum values of estimation errors when maneuvering starts and finishes. The effectiveness of the pro-posed method is validated through simulation by comparing it with the conventional IMM algorithm.

  • In this paper, we propose the design methodology of target tracking system using the identification of TS fuzzy model based on genetic algorithm(GA) and RLS algorithm. In general, the objective of target tracking is to estimate the future trajectory of the target based on the past position of the target obtained from the sensor. In the conventional and mathematical nonlinear filtering method such as extended Kalman filter(EKF), the performance of the system may be deteriorated in highly nonlinear situation. In this paper, to resolve these problems of nonlinear filtering technique, the error of EKF by nonlinearity is compensated by identifying TS fuzzy model. In the proposed method, after composing training datum from the parameters of EKF, by identifying the premise and consequent parameters and the rule numbers of TS fuzzy model using GA, and by tuning finely the consequent parameters of TS fuzzy model using recursive least square(RLS) algorithm, the error of EKF is compensated. Finally, the proposed method is applied to three dimensional tracking problem, and the simulation results shows that the tracking performance is improved by the proposed method.
