Analytical Surface Potential Model with TCAD Simulation Verification for Evaluation of Surrounding Gate TFET

  • In this paper, a new two dimensional (2D) analytical modeling and simulation for a surrounding gate tunnel field effect transistor (TFET) is proposed. The Parabolic approximation technique is used to solve the 2-D Poisson equation with suitable boundary conditions and analytical expressions for surface potential and electric field are derived. This electric field distribution is further used to calculate the tunneling generation rate and thus we numerically extract the tunneling current. The results show a significant improvement in on-current characteristics while short channel effects are greatly reduced. Effectiveness of the proposed model has been confirmed by comparing the analytical results with the TCAD simulation results.

  • Railroad a field of basic industries in Korea had developed as representative transportation means in the interior. But since the 1970s, its transport requirement decrease had influenced in reduced earning. Thus railroad try to find a various subsidiary earning creations. Among the various subsidiary earning creations, a plan of privately financed station buildings is constructing and using. For the mean time the privately financed station have been constructed by in a narrow sensible development. But now like a Yongsan areas surrounding stations development, comprehensive development think over surrounding stations in a wide sensible development. Dae Jaen Station the traffic center of the south part in Seoul had been constructed by privately financed station of Lotte Shopping Co.

A Real-time Motion Adaptation Method using Spatial Relationships between a Virtual Character and Its Surrounding Environment

  • Recently, character motion have been used extensively in the entertainment business, and researchers have investigated algorithms of reproducing, editing, and simulating mimic human movements. Also, many recent researches have suggested how a character interacts with its surrounding environment in terms of motion. Specially, spatial relationships of the environment have been introduced for adapting and preserving character motion. In this paper, we propose a motion adaptation technique preserving a spatial property between a virtual character and the configuration of its surrounding space. Additionally, we report on experimental results of smoothly adapted motions in various environmental structures with original motions such as walk, jump, and tumbling.

Infiltrative Lipoma Invading the Anal Sac in a Dog: A Rare Case Report

  • A 6-year-old female Chihuahua was presented to the Animal Medical Center for surgical resection of a perineal mass that had recently increased in size. Ultrasonography revealed a large, homogeneous fatty mass with irregular margins between the surrounding muscle layers due to infiltrating fatty tissues. Cytological findings from fine-needle aspirates revealed numerous sheets and clusters of adipocytes, which was consistent with the fatty mass. Based on ultrasonographic and cytological findings, an infiltrative lipoma was suspected. During the surgery, the perineal mass was found to be non-encapsulated, irregularly marginated, and extensively distributed into the surrounding muscles. The mass extended inside the pelvic cavity and left anal sac. The perineal mass was surgically removed and submitted for histopathologic examination. Histopathology confirmed that the mass was an infiltrative lipoma invading into the anal sac and surrounding muscles. The present report was an unusual presentation of infiltrative lipoma that invaded the anal sac in the perineum.

  • Submillimeter galaxies are the progenitors of massive galaxy formation, and therefore their interaction with the early intergalactic medium must be an important subject in the cosmology and galaxy astrophysics. However, their detailed relation between the galaxies and surrounding environments is still largely unknown. In this poster, we will present the characteristics of their surrounding environments of a large sample of mm-detected submillimeter galaxies. We will also discuss the proposal for the future observations of these galaxies and their environments using the ALMA and the GMT.

  • This paper concerns the assessment of impact of deep excavation on surrounding environment with emphasis on the groundwater lowering. Fundamentals of ground excavation and groundwater interaction were reviewed and the stress-pore pressure coupled analysis approach as a tool for assessment was introduced. A case study concerning the use of coupled analysis for deep excavation design was presented. Implications of the finding from from this study were discussed.

  • Traumatic arteriovenous fistula is relatively uncommon. The proper designation for what is called a false aneurysm is pulsating hematoma, which occurs when there is a small laceration of the wall of a large artery will continuing leakage of blood from the artery into surrounding tissues. The extent of growth of the pulsating hematoma depends on the strength of the surrounding fascial tissues. We experienced one case of arteriovenous fistula with hematoma, due to operative injuries, and operated successfully, and report the case.

  • Ondal Cave is important and significant in terms of cultural value and tourism. In addition, there are abundant historical and cultural resources nearby. If the geographical strength is taken advantage of, the cave would evolve into a great tourist destination and natural education spot. This paper has investigated humanistic environment of Ondal Cave in considerations for the surrounding tourism resources. There are abundant tourism resources around Ondal Cave. However, they are rarely connected with each other. In fact, they are very partially interrelated around Guinsa(temple) only. Furthermore, the number of tourists has gradually decreased. Therefore, it‘s required to further develop tourism programs and surrounding tourism resources.

  • This paper is about structural analysis of globe valve for controlling cryogenic LNG's flow or stop in normal temperature. The used valve is demanded safety resistance for inner pressure and temperature variation caused by using it in cryogenic, high pressure surrounding. This study evaluates for safety resistance for inner pressure and temperature variation by heat transfer analysis in cryogenic surrounding, heat stress analysis in temperature variation and deformation analysis in high pressure.
