Reasonable and reliable assessment method is one of the most important issues in science education, Partial credits method is an effective tool for assessing students' science inquiry problem solving. The purposes of this study were to classify the Problem solving types based on the analysis of the thinking Process, and how much the related science concept and the science process skills were used in solving science inquiry problems, and to describe the possibility and rationality of the assessment method that gives partial credit 128 high school seniors were selected and their answers were analyzed to identify science concepts they used to solve each problem, and the result was used as the criterion in the scientific concept test development. Also, to study the science inquiry problem solving type, 152 high school seniors were selected, and protocols were made from audio-taped data of their problem solving process through a think-aloud method and retrospective interviews. In order to get a raw data needed in statistical comparison of reliability, discrimination and the difficulty of the test and the production of the regression equation that determines the ratio of partial credit, 640 students were selected and they were given a science inquiry problem test, a science process skills test, and a scientific concept test. Research result suggested it is more reasonable and reliable to switch to the assessment method that applies partial credit to different problem solving types based on the analysis of the thinking process in problem solving process, instead of the dichotomous credit method.
The education sector is undergoing significant changes due to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the advancement of artificial intelligence. Particularly, the importance of education based on artificial intelligence is being emphasized. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to develop a statistics education program using deep learning prediction in high school mathematics and to examine the impact of such statistically problem-solvingcentered statistics education programs on high school students' statistical literacy and computational thinking. To achieve this goal, a statistics education program using deep learning prediction applicable to high school mathematics was developed. The analysis revealed that students' understanding of context improved through experiencing how data was generated and collected. Additionally, they enhanced their comprehension of data variability while exploring and analyzing various datasets. Moreover, they demonstrated the ability to critically analyze data during the process of validating its reliability. In order to analyze the impact of the statistics education program on high school students' computational thinking, a paired sample t-test was conducted, confirming a statistically significant difference in computational thinking between before and after classes (t=-11.657, p<0.001).

This study aimed to identify factors influencing clinical practice abilities in nursing students after implementing simulation education. The study subjects and data collection were conducted from September 1st to October 30th, 2022, targeting 106 fourth-year nursing students. The research design employed descriptive correlational analysis. The research tools included critical thinking, self-efficacy, practical competence, and practicum satisfaction, with statistical analysis performed using SPSS version 27.0. The results revealed Practical competence showed a significant correlation with practicum satisfaction, and it demonstrated a positive correlation with critical thinking and self-efficacy. Factors influencing practical competence were practicum satisfaction (β=.85 p<.001) and self-efficacy (β=.25, p<.05), with an explanatory power of 57.0% (F=13.25, p<.001).

From the perspective of compliance with security policies by members of the organization, which is a major cause of security incidents, this study presented biased thinking as factors that affect compliance with security policies and verified the following: First, the impact of biased thinking on security policies on compliance with security policies is verified. Second, the participation of management, perceived risk, education and punishment of management will verify the adjustment effect of increasing or decreasing biased thinking. Finally, we have verified that compliance attitudes have a significant impact on compliance behavior. To this end, 157 people were surveyed, statistical analysis of research models and structural equations, and conformity analysis were conducted. Studies have shown that biased thinking has a negative effect on the attitude of compliance with information security. In addition, it was analyzed that the attitude of compliance with information security policy increases policy compliance behavior. On the other hand, the higher the perceived risk of information security, the lower the bias was the adjustment effect, but management's participation, education and punishment were found to have no adjustment effect.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of the critical thinking disposition of paramedic students to their satisfaction with hospital clinical practice and intention of recommendation. As for data analysis, the statistical packages SPSS WIN 20.0 and AMOS 20.0 were employed, and frequency analysis, factor analysis, multiple regression analysis and structural equation modeling were utilized. Besides, Cronbach alpha coefficients were calculated to check item internal consistency. The level of significance was all set at .05. A survey was conducted to collect data from May 12 to August 25, 2012, and the answer sheets from 305 respondents were gathered and analyzed. The critical thinking disposition of the paramedic students was found to have a significant impact on their satisfaction with clinical practice, and the hypothesis about that was accepted. Their critical thinking disposition was found to exert a significant influence on their intention of recommendation as well, and the hypothesis about that was accepted. Finally, their satisfaction with clinical practice was found to affect their intention of recommendation in a significant way, and the hypothesis about that was accepted. The findings of the study suggested that in order to nurture professional and competent paramedics, the content of clinical practice should systematically be managed on a regular basis, and prolonged research efforts should be directed into program development.

The study was to identify the factors affecting accomplishment of outcome-based education of nursing students. Study subjects were recruited 364 nursing students of junior and senior. We collected data using self-reported questionnaire of communication competence, critical thinking disposition, self-leadership, research competence and accomplishment of outcome-based education. accomplishment of outcome-based education showed statistical differences according to grade, understanding of outcome-based education, satisfaction of outcome-based education, and experience of clinical practicum. Accomplishment of outcome-based education was positively correlated with communication competence, critical thinking disposition, self-leadership and research competence. The influences of accomplishment of outcome-based education were satisfaction of outcome-based education (${\beta}=0.33$, p<0.001), self-leadership (${\beta}=0.21$, p<0.001), research competence (${\beta}=0.18$, p<0.001), critical thinking disposition (${\beta}=0.17$, p<0.003), communication competence (${\beta}=0.14$, p=0.006), and experience of clinical practicum (${\beta}=0.10$, p=0.023). These variables explained 38.1% of total valiance on the accomplishment of outcome-based education. It would need to develop and apply formal and non-formal educational courses for enhancing self-leadership, research competence, critical thinking disposition, and communication competence.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of problem solving ability and satisfaction of university students who are pre-technology teachers in woodworking products(birdhouse) making program using design thinking. Survey responses are analyzed by statistical programs(SPSS ver.20) such as satisfaction, confidence in problem solving, difficulties and causes of difficulties according to gender and grade of 33 students who conducted experience programs in extra-curricular programs to improve creativity and problem solving ability. The main conclusions of this study are as follows: First, the average of total satisfaction about experience programs is 4.39, which is somewhat high. The highest average response is 'feelings of accomplishment' and 'advice in the surroundings'(M = 4.46). There is no significant difference between male and female, and grade. The students interest in group-based different birdhouse woodworking together with the help of the surrounding people by the process of design thinking rather than practice to follow. Therefore, I'd like to recommend to other students due to this program shows a high self-confidence, sense of accomplishment, and satisfaction. Second, the total average response of students 'self-confidence for problem solving at the group based making experience program using design thinking is 3.80. In result of group activities, the students have self-confidence of 'problem-solving ability and deal with difficult situations'. Later, in making programs, complementing difficulties of making can enhance the satisfaction of the students. Third, in the survey questionnaire related with problem solving ability confidence, between 'I have the ability to solve many problems' and 'I always have the ability to cope with new and difficult business situations' show the highest correlation. Therefore, in order to improve self-confidence of problem solving ability, it is necessary to prepare teaching learning programs that can strengthen problem solving ability. Fourth, in the new design and making process not a given product design, the most difficult step is 'the process of rework and modifying idea product'. The main reason that students have difficulty in the production process is 'lack of knowledge and ability to produce'. To make various woodworking products using design thinking process, it can be helpful to make works if you have enough training on woodworking and design thinking before product making. The students' satisfaction about team-based learning using design thinking that helps improving creativity and problem solving ability is high. Therefore, the result of the research in other making activity program that design thinking is applied and analyzed can improve students' problem solving ability.
The purpose of this study is to develop a statistical program using data and artificial intelligence prediction models and apply it to one class in the sixth grade of elementary school to see if it is effective in improving students' statistical literacy. Based on the analysis of problems in today's elementary school statistical education, a total of 15 sessions of the program was developed to encourage elementary students to experience the entire process of statistical problem solving and to make correct predictions by incorporating data, the core in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution into AI education. The biggest features of this program are the recognition of the importance of data, which are the key elements of artificial intelligence education, and the collection and analysis activities that take into account context using real-life data provided by public data platforms. In addition, since it consists of activities to predict the future based on data by using engineering tools such as entry and easy statistics, and creating an artificial intelligence prediction model, it is composed of a program focused on the ability to develop communication skills, information processing capabilities, and critical thinking skills. As a result of applying this program, not only did the program positively affect the statistical literacy of elementary school students, but we also observed students' interest, critical inquiry, and mathematical communication in the entire process of statistical problem solving.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the problems and the sources of defective products and draw improvement plans in a small plastic boat manufacturing process using TOC (Theory Of Constraints) and statistical analysis. TOC is a methodology to present a scheme for optimization of production process by finding the CCR (Capacity Constraints Resource) in the organization or the all production process through the concentration improvement activity. In this paper, we found and reformed constraints and bottlenecks in plastic boat manufacturing process in the target company for less defect ratio and production cost by applying DBR (Drum, Buffer, Rope) scheduling. And we set the threshold values for the critical process variables using statistical analysis. The result can be summarized as follows. First, CCRs in inventory control, material mix, and oven setting were found and solutions were suggested by applying DBR method. Second, the logical thinking process was utilized to find core conflict factors and draw solutions. Third, to specify the solution plan, experiment data were statistically analyzed. Data were collected from the daily journal addressing the details of 96 products such as temperature, humidity, duration and temperature of heating process, rotation speed, duration time of cooling, and the temperature of removal process. Basic statistics and logistic regression analysis were conducted with the defection as the dependent variable. Finally, critical values for major processes were proposed based on the analysis. This paper has a practical importance in contribution to the quality level of the target company through theoretical approach, TOC, and statistical analysis. However, limited number of data might depreciate the significance of the analysis and therefore it will be interesting further research direction to specify the significant manufacturing conditions across different products and processes.
Researchers have suggested that educators have to focus their attention on variability and reasoning about variation as means of developing students' statistical thinking in school mathematics. This paper investigated knowledge for the teaching of variability and reasoning about variation; what are sources of variability, how to cope with variability, what are types of variability, how to recognize variability, and the relationship between statistical problem solving and variability. The results involve: discussion on the sources of variability and how to cope with variability promotes students' awareness of different types of variability and students' motivation in the following steps in the statistical activity; emphasis on reasoning about variation in teaching representation of data accords with objectives of statistics education; reexamination of curriculum for statistics education is needed, which has a content-oriented arrangement.
