본 연구에서는 영남지역의 산업구조 현황을 살펴보고 특화산업을 분석하여, 지역산업정책에의 시사점을 도출하였다. 분석결과에서 보듯이, 영남지역 내에서도 시도별로 정태 동태적 관점, 정태적 관점, 동태적 관점에서 선정된 특화산업의 특성이 차별적으로 나타났으며, 이러한 특화산업의 성격에 따른 지역적 특성을 3가지 유형으로 분류할 수 있었다. 또한 이러한 유형별로 특화산업 육성 전략의 효과가 차별적으로 나타날 수 있음을 살펴보았다. 이러한 분석결과를 토대로, 다음과 같은 정책적 시사점을 도출할 수 있다. 첫째, 특화산업의 육성과 관련하여 지역별로 특화산업의 특성에 따라 유형별로 차별적인 특화산업 육성 전략을 구사해야 할 것이고, 둘째, 특화산업의 성격에 따라 특화산업 육성전략과 지역산업 구조개편 및 혁신전략을 맞춤식으로 차별적으로 구사해야 할 것, 마지막으로 지식기반경제로의 전환에 맞추어 특화산업 육성전략과 지역혁신전략을 적절히 병행할 것이다.

충청북도는 전국 대비 면적은 약 7.5%, 인구 및 주요 경제 지표에서는 약 3.1%를 차지할 정도로 발달이 미약하다. 그러나 충청북도는 청주시와 청원군의 통합, 정부기관의 세종시로의 이전, 수도권의 제조업체 분산을 활용하여 발전시켜야 한다. 본 연구에서는 충청북도의 인구와 입지계수를 통해 지역별 산업별 변화를 살펴보았다. 충청북도의 지역별 특화 산업 분포에 영향을 미치는 요인은 청주와 경기도와의 거리이다. 도시에서는 서비스업, 청주 및 경기도와 가까운 지역에서는 제조업, 청주와 먼 지역에서는 1차와 소비자 서비스업 중심으로 특화되어 있다. 본 연구는 충청북도의 지역별 특화 산업 선정 및 지역 정책 수립의 기초로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

This paper studies the comparative advantage of competitive and specialized regional industries which are manufacturing, wholesale and retail trade, servies in the metropolitan area-Seoul, Inchun, Kyunggi-do of Korea, For the analysis of industries, the coefficient of specialization, the indices of competitiveness of labor and value-added, the growth rate are simultaneously examined under the criteria of the number of workers, value of shipment, value-added, This comperative synthetic analysis is different from the traditional approaches. This paper shows that the perfectly competitive advantage of specialized industries satisfying all of three criteria are 'other business related activities', 'recreational, cultural and sporting activities' in Seoul, 'machinery and outfits, n.e.c', 'retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles, repair of personal and household goods' in Inchun. We conclude that each should strategically develop the region-oriented specialized industry which has the comparative advantage. It is the reason why the concentration of industry in necessary for the leading of regional industry under the weaken local public finance. Moreover, such an industy should provide the increase of employment and income from the viewpoint of the activation of regional economy. The potential-specialized competitive industry requires the advanced structure of production under the criteria of value-added. For the development of the metropolitan area's economy, the highly advanced technology industry including computer and electronics should be induced through the loosening of metropolitan regulation. Research center(science park) supported by th private-public sector should be built for the increase of technology sector should be built for the increase of technology power of the small and medium enterprises, Also it is necessary that the small and medium enterprises strategically make the cooperative-large group in order to avoid the disadvantage from the size.

최근 경제의 지구 지방화 과정과 교통 통신기술의 발달로 '세계도시'(지역)와 더불어 '네트워크도시'가 관심을 끌고 있다. 네트워크도시 이론은 인접한 도시들의 특화된 산업들 간 상호 연계성의 강화를 통해 개별 도시와 지역 전체의 발전을 추구한다. 이 논문은 네트워크도시 이론에 바탕을 두고 영남권 도시들의 특화산업과 산업 연계성을 분석하고자 한다. 도시 특화산업의 분석을 위하여 입지계수, 입지지니계수, 변이할당분석을 수행했으며, 도시 간 연계성 분석을 위하여 대응분석과 글로벌 및 로컬 모란지수분석을 수행했다. 특화산업 분석의 결과, 영남권의 개별 도시들은 도시별로 상이한 산업들로 상당히 특화되어 있는 것이 확인되었다. 그러나 도시들 간 연계성 분석에서는 일부 도시들 간 산업별 연계성이 확인되었지만, 전체적으로는 분석기법의 한계와 더불어 도시들 자체의 연계성 부족으로 인해 그 특성을 파악하기 어려웠다. 결론적으로 이러한 분석의 시사점으로, 각 도시의 특화 산업들의 육성과 더불어 도시 간 산업 연계성의 강화를 위한 정책이 필요하다는 점이 강조된다.

With the introduction of the Internet in the 21st century, the manufacturing-oriented industry, so called EMS(Electronic Manufacturing Service) specialized in manufacturing only, is rapidly expanding. From the beginning of the year 2000, the EMS industry in advanced countries around the world, whereas a strong Motivation System in which a manufacturing related staff plays a main role, has began providing the source of competitiveness. And this industry is regarded as a core of management linking productivity directly to management performance. Thus, all the manufacturing sectors including not only the electronic industry but also mechanical industry in the future are observed to be divided into two industries; a Maker strategy industry focused on marketing and development, and a EMS industry specialized in manufacturing. Therefore, we need to evaluate whether the industries should continue to support the Manufacturers Strategy or attempt to change into the EMS industry However, with no approved evaluation standard on hand as to an actual EMS industry, in this thesis, we develop the EM(EMS-Maker) Chart in order to analyze both the Manufacturer Strategy and the EMS industries.

최근 전문건설업종의 대공종화/대업종화가 진행되고 있으며, 건설공사의 기술적인 전문성을 고려하지 않은 채 전문건설 업종을 편리에 따라 통합·신설하고, 고유의 업종을 폐지하는 방향으로 추진하고 있어서 건설산업 생산구조에 혼란을 초래하며, 업종 단순화만을 목표로 하여 설득력이 떨어지므로 전문건설업의 세부 공종 특성에 따라 재편 방안을 검토하는 것이 바람직하다고 판단된다. 본 연구에서는 전문공사업의 전문성에 대한 특수성을 고려한 합리적인 분류체계의 개편을 검토하기 위하여 도장공사, 조경공사의 사례를 대상으로 공사의 구분, 주요 업무내용 및 특성, 기술적 전문성, 대업종화에 대한 문제점을 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 현행 전문건설업 업종분류체계 개편 시 고려하여야 할 사항을 도출하고 합리적인 업종별 개편방안을 제시하고 한다.

This research has its significance on contributing to the establishment of sustainable fashion industry ecosystem of Seongsu area based on the creativity which is the driving force of economic growth in the 21st century. This study reviewed the major activities and processes of Seongsu-dong's regional specialized industries project and the social economic organizations's creation of fashion clusters by using specialized books, previous research, press releases such as newspapers, magazines, and the specialized internet site(www.seoul.go.kr). Also street casual-style clothes were designed based on work-wear that themed Seongsu-dong's industrial scene and social problems. The results of this study are as follows. Seongsu-dong represents the political and economic characteristics of a typical semi-industrial area in which the automobile repair, printing, textile, leather, and handmade industries are concentrated in accordance with the government's business and policy, and shows the technical characteristics through the internal complete industrial ecosystem integration of the handmade industries. In addition, social and cultural characteristics such as various local activities based on creativity are shown by social enterprises, and cultural artists. Based on the results of analyzing the regional characteristics of Seongsu-dong according to political, economic, technological, socio-cultural characteristics, eight fashion designs were made as motifs reflecting the regional characteristics of Seongsu-dong.

The construction industry has a higher dependency on manpower than other industries, requiring a supply of high quality skilled workers. But negative perceptions regarding the construction industry have continued to reduce the inflow of young workers into the industry, and the existing skilled workforce is aging. In response, as a solution for training young construction skilled manpower, training programs for young construction skilled workers have been implemented by specialized high schools. But the current status of career paths chosen by the graduates of these specialized high schools did not show a substantial influx of workers into the construction industry. In this regard, with the purpose of promoting an influx of young construction skilled manpower into the industry, this study analyzed the goals and problems of construction education in specialized high schools in South Korea, and suggested a method for improvement.

The aim of this research is to present the fundamental data of the tangible school operation in order to get Specialized High Schools in Computer fixed firmly and developed. This project was made by analyzing and thorough investigations how teachers and students think of their school lives, curriculum, future guidances, and the pursuing directions of the school. And that is based on understanding Specialized High Schools distinguished from the traditional Business High Schools. In order to develop the Specialized High School Related Computer as the model of the Specialized High School in Korea, it is important that the government trains the teachers who give students satisfactions. Also for the prospective future of the Specialized High School Related Computer, it is necessary that a good curriculum are developed in detail and the superior students are accepted in their entrance. Also, the students brought by the good teachers will contribute to Korean computer industries. So then, the Specialized High School Related Computer will be dispersed as training computer talents.

This study aims to evaluate and identify the patterns of the technological competitiveness of the Korean industry. Such statistics as R&D expenditure and R&D manpower as input indexes, US patent registrations and export sales as output indexse were used. It was turned out that such industrial types as specialized-suppliers industries, scale-intensive industries and science-intensive industries showed relatively strong technical competitiveness. However, resource-intensive industries and labor-intensive industries which had maintained a competitive advantage in the 1970s and the 1980s appeared to be gradually losing their technological competitiveness. These results are by and large in accordance with the trends of export performance. This study conducted the canonical discriminant analysis in order to test the correctness of the patterns displayed in the technological competitiveness of the Korean industry. The result of the analysis showed that the five patterns of technical strength of the Korean industries are significantly independent each other for four respective variables which are used to distinguish industries. This implies that the ex ante industrial classification into five types was correct in terms of the ex post statistics, and that the patterns of technological competitiveness discovered in this study are also statistically correct.
