Boundary condition is an important factor affecting the vibration characteristics of structures, under different boundary conditions, structures will exhibit different vibration behaviors. On the basis of the previous work, this paper extends to the nonlinear resonance behavior of axially moving graphene platelets reinforced metal foams (GPLRMF) plates with geometric imperfection under different boundary conditions. Based on nonlinear Kirchhoff plate theory, the motion equations are derived. Considering three boundary conditions, including four edges simply supported (SSSS), four edges clamped (CCCC), clamped-clamped-simply-simply (CCSS), the nonlinear ordinary differential equation system is obtained by Galerkin method, and then the equation system is solved to obtain the nonlinear ordinary differential control equation which only including transverse displacement. Subsequently, the resonance response of GPLRMF plates is obtained by perturbation method. Finally, the effects of different boundary conditions, material properties (including the GPLs patterns, foams distribution, porosity coefficient and GPLs weight fraction), geometric imperfection, and axial velocity on the resonance of GPLRMF plates are investigated.

A study of free vibration of axisymmetric circular plates based on Mindlin theory using a pseudospectral method is presented. The analysis is based on Chebyshev polynomials that are widely used in the fluid mechanics research community. Clamped, simply supported and flee boundary conditions are considered, and numerical results are presented for various thickness-to-radius ratios.
A new method(EVF method) is applied to get lower bounds to frequencies of rotating uniform beams which are clamped or simply supported at one end and free at the other. For the upper bounds, the Rayleigh-Ritz method is employed. Numerical results are presented.
In this paper, a complete solution is presented for dynamic plastic response of a rigid, perfectly plastic hinged-free beam, of which one end is simply supported or hinged and the other end free, subjected to a transverse strike by a travelling mass at an arbitrary location along its span. The governing differential equations are expressed in non-dimensional forms and solved numerically to obtain the instantaneous deflection of the beam and the plastic dissipated energy in the beam. The dynamic behavior for a hinged-free beam is more complicated than that of a free-free beam. It transpires that the mass ratio and impact position have significant influence on the final deformation. In the aspect of energy dissipation, unlike simply supported or clamped beams for which the plastic deformation consumes almost the total input energy, a considerable portion of the input energy would be transferred as rigid-body motion of hinged-free beam, and the energy dissipated in its plastic deformation is greatly reduced.

In this study, an exact solution of governing differential equation for the bending problem of partially loaded orthotropic rectangular plates is presented and also its computer program is developed. The method requires that two opposite edges be clamped or simply supported, or one edge clamped and the other simply supported. Any combination of boundary conditions could exist along the other edges. The plate could he subjected to uniform, partially uniform, and line loads. The solution for the deflection of rectangular plate is expressed as a Levy type single Fourier series and the loads arc expressed as a corresponding series. The advantage of the solution is that it overcomes the limitations of the previous Navier's and Levy's methods (limitation of boundary condition and loading conditions of plate), it is easy to program on a computer and it becomes fast to solve the bending problem with computer program. Calculations are presented for isotropic and orthotropic plates with different loading and boundary conditions. Comparisons are made for the isotropic plate with various boundary conditions between the result of this paper and the result of Navier, Levy and Szilard. The deflections were in excellent agreement.
Geometrically non-linear axisymmetric bending of a shallow spherical shell with a clamped or a simply supported edge under axisymmetric load was investigated numerically. The partial load was introduced by the Heaviside step function, and the solution was obtained by the finite difference and the Newton-Raphson methods. The thickness of the shell was considered to be uniform and the material was assumed to be homogeneous and isotropic. Sensitivity analysis was made for three geometrical parameters. The accuracy of the algorithm was checked by comparing the central deflection, the radial membrane stress at the edge, or the transverse shear force with the solutions of plates and shells in the literature and good agreement was obtained. The main findings of the study can be outlined as follows: (i) If the shell is fully loaded the central deflection of a clamped shell is larger than that of a simply supported shell provided that the shell is not very shallow, (ii) if the shell is partially loaded the central deflection of the shell is sensitive to the parameters of thickness, depth, and partial loading but the influence of the boundary conditions is negligible.
The goal of this study is to fill this apparent gap in the area about vibration analysis of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) curved panels by providing 3-D vibration analysis results for functionally graded multiwalled carbon nanotubes (FG-MWCNTs) sandwich structure with power-law distribution of nanotube. The effective material properties of the FG-MWCNT structures are estimated using a modified Halpin-Tsai equation. Modified Halpin-Tsai equation was used to evaluate the Young's modulus of MWCNT/epoxy composite samples by the incorporation of an orientation as well as an exponential shape factor in the equation. The exponential shape factor modifies the Halpin-Tsai equation from expressing a straight line to a nonlinear one in the MWCNTs wt% range considered. Also, the mass density and Poisson's ratio of the MWCNT/phenolic composite are considered based on the rule of mixtures. Parametric studies are carried out to highlight the influence of MWCNT volume fraction in the thickness, different types of CNT distribution, boundary conditions and geometrical parameters on vibrational behavior of FG-MWCNT thick curved panels. Because of using two-dimensional generalized differential quadrature method, the present approach makes possible vibration analysis of cylindrical panels with two opposite axial edges simply supported and arbitrary boundary conditions including Free, Simply supported and Clamped at the curved edges. For an overall comprehension on 3-D vibration analysis of sandwich panel, some mode shape contour plots are reported in this research work.

Acoustic radiation efficiency is a crucial factor to estimate Underwater Radiated Noise (URN) of ships accurately. This paper describes a numerical method to analyse acoustic radiation efficiency of one side-wetted rectangular Mindlin plate with simply supported boundaries excited by a harmonic point force. Transverse displacements of plate and acoustic radiation pressures are evaluated by the mode superposition method. The acoustic radiation efficiencies analyzed by both Mindlin and thin plate theories show little differences at monopole and corner modes of low frequency regions but relatively large differences at edge and critical modes of high frequency regions. Especially, the critical frequency with the highest acoustic radiation efficiency evaluated by the Mindlin plate theory is higher than that of thin plate theory. In addition, the acoustic loading effect of fluid also increases bending wave-number of plate and its critical frequency. Finally, the acoustic radiation characteristics of plates with different aspect ratios and thicknesses through numerical analyses are investigated and discussed.
