The Mediated Effects of Metacognition in the Relationship between Shared-leadership and Resilience of the Nursing Students (간호대학생의 공유리더십과 리질리언스의 관계에서 메타인지의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the mediating effects of metacognition in the relationships between shared-leadership and resilience of the nursing students. The study subjects were 138 nursing students who participated in Team Based Learning for 6 weeks, in the first semester of 2019. Data were collected using self-reported questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS WIN 25.0 program. As a result of the study, There were statistically significant positive correlation between shared-leadership, metacognition and resilience. Also, shared-leadership affected resilience and metacognition had a partial mediating effect in the relationship between shared-leadership and resilience. The finding from this study indicate that it is necessary to develop and apply various teaching methods and intervention programs to increase shared leadership and metacognition in order to increase resilience of students in nursing colleges.

  • In this study, we examined the effect of shared leadership on organizational trust, knowledge sharing, and innovative behavior. Also, it was verified that organizational trust and knowledge sharing play a mediating role in the relationship between shared leadership and innovative behavior. Data were collected from a survey of 348 manufacturing workers in Ulsan and Gyeongju. SPSS 22 was used for frequency analysis and exploratory factor analysis. AMOS 22 was used for confirmatory factor analysis to verify the validity of the variables and for covariance structure analysis to verify the research hypothesis. The results of this study are as follows. First, shared leadership has a significant positive effect on organizational trust, knowledge sharing, innovative behavior. Second, organizational trust has a significant positive effect on knowledge sharing and innovative behavior. Third, knowledge sharing has a significant positive effect on innovative behavior. Finally, organizational trust and knowledge sharing play a partial mediating role in the relationship between shared leadership and innovative behavior. The result of this study suggests that organizational trust and knowledge sharing should be strengthened through shared leadership in order to increase the innovative behavior of organization members.

Impact of Shared Leadership on Team Work Engagement: Focusing on the Mediating Role of Team Positive Psychological Capital and the Moderating Role of Task Characteristics (공유리더십이 팀직무열의에 미치는 영향: 팀긍정심리자본의 매개효과와 직무특성의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine, at the team level, the relationship between shared leadership and team work engagement and team psychological capital which have rarely been introduced into academic leadership research in Korea. This study tested the impact of shared leadership on team work engagement and the mediating role of team psychological capital between the two variables. And also, this study tested moderating role of task characteristics between shared leadership and team psychological capital. A total of 421 employees of 100 teams in 16 companies in South Korea participated in this study. The SPSS 23.0 statistical program was used in this study to analyze and statistically process the collected survey data. The result showed that high level of shared leadership positively influence team work engagement and team PsyCap works as mediator in the relationship between shared leadership and team work engagement. This results means that shared leadership is a crucial factor to facilitate team's psychological capital toward team's work engagement. However, Task characteristics had no moderating effect between shared leadership and team PsyCap. Finally, theoretical and practical implications of the study results have been discussed along with limitations and future direction of the study.

  • The environment of modern corporate management is undergoing many changes due to the horizontal organizational structure and the spread of team system. The importance of collective leadership that all members can pursue together beyond the existing personal leadership is increasing day by day. This study was conducted to analyze the effects of shared leadership on psychological empowerment, organizational justice and organizational commitment using PLS, a structural equation tool. The analysis highlighted the following. First, shared leadership exerted positive effects on psychological empowerment and organizational justice. Second, psychological empowerment exerted positive effects on organizational justice and organizational commitment and lastly, organizational justice exerted positive effects on organizational commitment. The causality between shared leadership, psychological empowerment, organizational justice and organizational commitment. This study demonstrated the important relationship between shared leadership and psychological empowerment and organizational justice, which will serve as a guideline for further organizational commitment.

The Effects of Metacognition on Learning Flow of Team-Based Learning in Nursing Students: Mediating Effects of Shared Leadership (간호대학생의 팀기반학습에서 메타인지가 학습몰입에 미치는 영향: 공유리더십의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of metacognition on learning flow of Team-Based Learning(TBL) in nursing students and verify the mediating effects of shared leadership on the relationships between metacognition and learnig flow. Data were collected via survey from 98 nursing students to participate in TBL for 6weeks, in June 2017. The results were as follows: There was a significant correlation with metacognition, shared leadership and learning flow. Metacognition had a positive effect on learning flow. Shared leadership had a partial mediating effect in the relationship between metacognition and learning flow. Conclusively, this results indicate a need to develop programs that effectively promote the shared leadership and maximize metacogniton Team-Based Learning(TBL) in nursing students.

  • In this study, we examine the relationship between shared leadership and innovation behaviors of the members, and try to understand what moderate effect trust in these relationships. To do this, we set up research models and hypotheses that shared leadership will influence innovative behavior through literature review. We also added the moderating effect of Trust on the relationship between these variables. For the empirical analysis, a questionnaire survey was conducted for corporate member in Daegu and Kyungbuk area. Multiple regression analysis and hierarchical regression analysis were conducted to test hypotheses. As a result, Shared leadership has a significant effect on innovation behavior. In particular, trust among members has been shown to regulate the relationship between shared leadership and innovation behavior. The results of this study will be applied to the strategic human resources management of major organizations.

Charter School Principals' Perception on Transformational Leadership Practices

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate charter school principals' perception on the transformational leadership practices in New York State. The data generating sample consisted of 44 charter school principals. Descriptive statistics and multiple regression were employed to analyze the data. The results were as follows: first, the transformational leadership practices of charter school principals were in the moderate to high categories, and the greatest gap was on Inspiring a shared vision leadership practice. Second, there were no statistically significant relationships between the leadership practices and the demographic variables of: gender, age, ethnicity, and level of education of principals. However, a positive relationship was found between both the Modeling the way and Encouraging the heart leadership practices and the educational level of charter school principals. Third, there was a significant relationship between the Inspiring a shared vision leadership practice of charter school principals and prior experience as a school principal.

The Effect of Shared Leadership on Job Crafting: Mediating Role of Learning Goal Orientation and Knowledge Sharing (공유리더십이 직무재창조(Job crafting)에 미치는 영향: 학습목표지향성과 지식공유의 매개효과)

  • Job crafting has gained prominence in organizational practice as an important factor to cultivate positive performance, the purpose of this study is to present theoretical and practical implications of job crafting by examination of the effective variables that induce job crafting. We verify the correlation between shared leadership and job crafting and the mediating effect of learning goal orientation and knowledge sharing in the relationship between these two variables. Hypotheses were established on the basis of precedent research and various theories including social cognitive theory and affective events theory. The data were collected by conducting online surveys of 318 office workers who have served in various domestic organizations. The reliability and validity of the collected data were verified by SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 25.0, and the hypotheses were analyzed by SPSS process macro 3.0. The study found that shared leadership yields positive effects on the learning goal orientation, knowledge sharing and job crafting of participants respectively and that learning goal orientation and knowledge sharing have a mediating effect in the relationship between shared leadership and job crafting. The results of this study present the effectiveness of shared leadership to facilitate the job crafting and implications and future research measures for the organization to develop a system for activating shared leadership, and for strengthening learning goals orientation and knowledge sharing.

The effect of the shared leadership on the job satisfaction: Difference between principals and teachers of child care center (공유리더십이 직무만족에 미치는 영향: 어린이집 원장과 교사 간 차이)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the effect of shared leadership on job satisfaction of principals and teachers of child care centers, and to find the differences of perception between principals and teachers. For this purpose, 120 child care centers in one province was collected through random sampling, and then 93 principals and 101 teachers participated in survey. By SPSS 21.0 version, hierarchical analysis, descriptive statistics and t-test were used to analyze the data. The results showed that principals and teachers all perceived that the shared leadership effects on the job satisfaction. Based on these results, some practical implications for principals and teachers of child care centers to improve the shared leadership and the job satisfaction were suggested.

Collective Psychological Ownership and Organizational Performance in Co-operatives: The Mediator Effect of Shared Leadership (협동조합 이사회의 공동심리소유권과 조직성과: 공유리더십의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the collective psychological ownership (CPO) of the board of directors of cooperatives on organizational performance, and to find out the mediator effect of shared leadership between CPO and organizational performance. In this study, we collected a data set of the survey of 453 directors from 78 local consumer cooperatives of iCOOP Korea. The study found that the CPO of the board of directors of consumer cooperatives had a positive impact on the social performance and activity performance of the organization. More importantly, the mediator effect of shared leadership between CPO and performance was statistically significant. These results suggest that strengthening CPO on the board is necessary for the performance of co-operatives, and that shared leadership is an important medium for linking CPO to performance.
