공공 공간에서 인터랙티브 미디어를 이용한 공익 광고 디자인에 관한 연구 (Research of the public service advertising using interactive media in public space)

  • 멀티미디어 인터랙티브 광고는 컴퓨터 멀티미디어 기술의 탄생과 광범위한 연구에 더불어 활용폭이 넓은 새로운 하나의 영역을 형성하게 되었다. 본 논문은 우선 기존의 인터랙티브 미디어 광고에 관한 분석을 연구하였고, 그 다음 인터랙티브 미디어와 공공 공간에서 공익광고의 디자인에 대한 분석을 진행하였다. 공공 공간에서 인터랙티브 미디어를 응용한 공익 광고에 대한 디자인과 분석을 통해, 인터랙티브 미디어가 가진 특징을 발견하고 차후 이 특성의 장점을 활용한 작품제작을 위한 기초 연구를 진행하였다.

Evolution of Korean Maritime DGPS System to High Accuracy Nationwide DGPS Service

  • According to the recommendation of International Maritime Organization, the Ministry Of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (MOMAF) of Korea provides the real time Differential Global Positioning System service using maritime radio beacon from 1999. Due to the benefit of DGPS service, the need of this system is increased from various user groups for acquiring the better accuracy and integrity. Therefore, MOMAF has extended their service to inland by installing the additional 6 DGPS stations. This nationwide DGPS service will be fully deployed at 2007. In addition to the extension of service area, MOMAF has a plan to upgrade their nationwide DGPS to High Accuracy Nationwide DGPS (HANDGPS). The planned HANDGPS service of Korea will be a kind of long range RTK or Wide Area RTK techniques to provide under 1m accuracy and start their service from 2009 using the various broadcasting and communication media like as radio beacon, Wibro, Digital Multimedia Broadcasting, High Speed Packet Data Access. The introduction of nationwide DGPS system of Korea and its evolution plan will be addressed in this paper. The research activities related with HANDGPS in Korea is also presented.

식공간의 매력성이 레스토랑 서비스 품질 평가와 이용 의도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of an Attractive Dining Space on Customers' Service Quality Evaluation and Purchasing Intention)

  • 본 연구를 통해 레스토랑의 식공간 매력성(attractiveness)이 고객들의 레스토랑 평가에 어떻게 영향을 미치게 되는지를 실험 연구 방법에 의해서 규명하고, 동시에 소비자 행동에 영향을 미치는 구매 위험 지각과 감성 강도가 레스토랑 평가에 대한 식공간 매력성의 효과를 어떻게 조절하는지를 확인하였다. 한편, 종속 변수를 레스토랑의 예상된 서비스 품질과 이용 의도로 설정하고 식공간 연출의 효과를 파악하고자 하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 매력적으로 연출된 식공간은 매력적이지 못한 식공간에 비해 레스토랑 고객들의 예상된 서비스 품질에 대한 긍정적인 평가를 유도하고, 또한 이용 의도를 증가시켰다. 둘째, 연출된 식공간의 매력성은 저(低)위험 지각의 구매 상황보다 고(高)위험 지각의 구매 상황에서 레스토랑 고객들의 예상된 서비스 품질과 이용 의도에 대해 보다 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 연출된 식공간의 매력성은 감성 강도가 낮은 고객보다 높은 고객의 예상된 서비스 품질과 이용의도에 대해 보다 큰 영향을 주어 개인 특성 변수인 감성 강도의 조절 효과가 밝혀졌다.

고령자 행위 패턴 기반 욕실의 지능형 서비스 패턴 개발 (Smart Services of the Bathroom Reflecting the Behavior Patterns of the Elderly)

  • A bathroom in house has been stressed not only as a space for physiology and hygiene but also leisure and healthcare. However, the bathroom is the most likely space where an elderly person can have an accident and it is uncomfortable space for them because of their deteriorating physical ability. So the purpose of this study is to help the elderly use their bathroom conveniently by providing smart service. Therefore, we carry out 18 smart service patterns that contain assistive devices and sensors for bathroom. Considering applicability and frequency, from among these service patterns, we suggest 4 service patterns. First is a fall prevention service. This service helps elderly use the bathroom safely at night. Second is a getting ready to go out service. This service helps the situation that elderly use the bathroom after getting up in the morning. Third is a security service in daily life especially before or after meals. And final is a service regarding personal hygiene service after returning home. This service helps to shower or bathe after return home. These services have positive influence in medical expense reductions, good health care and self-reliance of elderly.

  • Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) has been trying for utilizing the polar station in Svalbard, Norway to receive the KOMPSAT-2 images, which are distributed and applied directly for Europe Space Agency (ESA) users. Now, KARI is operating the SpaceCapture-2 system that provides the KOMPSAT-2 catalogue service via the internet, whereas ESA is operating the EOLI-SA tool that provides access to the online ESA catalogues of Earth Observation (EO) products. This paper describes external interface based on service-oriented architecture in order to provide the KOMPSAT-2 catalogue service from the SpaceCapture-2 system to the EOLI-SA tool. As the KOMPSAT-2 catalogue service is available in the EOLI-SA tool through an implementation of external interface, the extend use of KOMPSAT-2 imageries is expected.

야외지질학습에서 '생소한 경험 공간(Novelty Space)'에 대한 초등 예비교사와 중등 지구과학 예비교사들의 인식 탐색 (Exploring the Perception of Elementary and Secondary Pre-service Teachers about 'Novelty Space' in Learning in Geological Field Trip)

  • 이 연구는 초등 및 중등 지구과학 예비교사들을 대상으로 생소한 경험 공간(Novelty Space)에 대한 인식 조사를 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 A 교육대학교의 초등 예비교사 38명과 B 대학교 지구과학교육과에 재학 중인 31명의 중등 지구과학 예비교사들이 설문에 참여하였다. 또한 연구 참여자 중 추가적인 면담 참여에 동의한 초등 예비교사 3명과 중등 지구과학 예비교사 9명, 총 12명을 대상으로 비대면 면담을 실시하였다. 생소한 경험 공간에 대한 요소를 사전 지식(인지), 사전야외학습 경험(심리), 야외조사지역과의 친숙도(지리)에 덧붙여, 사회적인(social) 요소과 기술적인(technical) 요소를 추가하였다. 초등과 중등, 학년를 기준으로 분류하였을 때 생소한 경험 공간의 요소에 대해 인지적 영역, 심리적 영역, 지리적 영역, 사회적 영역에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 통계적인 차이는 야외학습과 관련된 경험이나 자본이 중등 지구과학 예비교사들이 초등 예비교사들보다 더 많은 것으로부터 비롯되었을지도 모른다고 해석하였다. 반-구조화된 면담에서 초등 예비교사 및 중등 지구과학 예비교사 모두 가상야외지질학습의 가치나 필요성을 강조하였으며 특히 기술적인 영역에서의 역량을 강조하였다. 이 연구는 초등 및 중등 지구과학 예비교사들을 대상으로 야외지질학습을 실행하기 위한 생소한 경험 공간에 대해 현재의 교육 맥락적인 상황을 고려하여 새롭게 정의할 필요성을 제안할 뿐만 아니라 생소한 경험 공간 요소들을 구체화하였다는 점에서 학술적인 의의를 갖는다.

피유치원의 공간구성적 특성에 관한 연구 -대구지역 유치원 사례를 중심으로- (A research on Characteristics of the Spatial Compositions in Kindergarten -The Case Study of Kindergarten in Daegu Area-)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate its characteristics of the spatial compositions at several kindergartens in Daegu area. Through this, the study is intended to provide the basic data of the efficient building planning and facility operations in the kindergarten. The results of this study are as follows. 1) Recently, the spatial compositions of kindergarten was classified as education, educational aids, educational support, teacher / administration, and public service area. 2) The concept of special classroom space was set up in all the surveyed facilities. This space was used for small-scale events, meals, and game features. 3) Support staff, including teachers, are insufficient for the service space. 4) The size of total land area of the facility's public service area was affecting. 5) The Lobby and aisle space of the surveyed facilities was used as a multipurpose space. 6) In response to diverse educational content, the direction to plan should be seperated by multi-space.

  • The Intelligent Space is a space where we can easily interact with computers and robots, and get useful service from them. In such a space, location information is very important, since the agents cannot provide proper service to a proper person at a proper location without location information. Our positioning system uses CCD cameras. It is important to decide where to arrange the cameras for the best localization depending on the tasks in the space. How to arrange cameras for the best localization is discussed in this paper.

  • In the 21st Century, our society is facing decrease of general population and beginning of aging society due to low birth rate, and such issues are increasing the elderly population. Especially in Korea, the elderly population exceeded 7% of the total population in 2000, making its way to the aging society and the elderly population will increase up to 14% by 2019, becoming the true aging society. Unlike other countries, aging in Korea is happening very fast and this requires the society's preparation and plans to deal with the problem. This study was started with the problem that the welfare centers for elderly people in Gwangju do not have the space plan adequate for the regional characteristics and users' demands. Therefore, this study performed an investigation and analysis on service programs, management, and space formation of S welfare centers for elderly people in Gwangju. This study produced a figure after interviews with social welfare workers and surveys. And then this study investigated size and formation of space for the service programs in each welfare center This study showed the current status of welfare centers for elderly people and difference in size and formation of space related to the service programs of the region. Therefore, this study was done to provide the basic data for the space formation of new welfare centers.

u-주거공간의 u-서비스 추출 방법론 및 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the u-Residential Space Service : Focusing on u-Service Extraction and Application)

  • The u-City construction plan being executed presently involves such problem that services are provided in a suppliers-oriented direction while there are not much discussions on what u-Services citizens should be provided with and what u-Services that city government the supplier shall provide. In order to implement citizen-friendly u-Services the type of u-Services that offer just the right services efficient and convenient for citizens, u-Services should be provided based on active researches on the citizens' use and utilization of u-Services rather than u-Services being provided in suppliers' perspective as so far. To that end, there need be recognition and well-organized methodology that u-Services should be provided through humane, social and scientific analysis of the citizens that are to be provided with u-Services. Thus, in this study, the process of u-Services being transmitted was re-interpreted as background theory to deduce and apply services appropriate for u-Residential Space, and service science for u-Services the scientific and overall approach to seek for service innovation was applied to the development of u-Service deduction method based on such background theory. The u-Service methodology developed based on service science is judged able to deduce and provide u-Services appropriate for the intended services through scientific analysis of citizen-friendly u-Services.
