간호학생의 비판적 사고성향과 핵심능력 (The Relationship of Core Competencies(Problem Solving Ability, Communication Ability, Self-directed Learning Ability) to Critical Thinking)

  • Purpose: This study was done to analyze core competencies affecting critical thinking ability of student nurses. Core competencies investigated in this study were problem solving ability, communication ability and self-directed learning ability. Method: Data were collected from a convenience sample of 322 student nurses in 2 provinces during the period from May 21 to June 8, 2007. Critical thinking, problem solving ability, communication ability and self-directed learning ability were measured using the Disposition towards Critical Thinking Scale by Park(1999-a) and the Core Competencies Scale by Lee(2003). Descriptive statistics and correlation coefficients with the SPSS WIN 12.0 program were used to analyze the data. Results: There were significant differences in the critical thinking according to grade, type of high school, experience with PBL, preference for lecture-based learning, preference for discussion and perceived logicality. The score for critical thinking showed significantly positive correlations with scores for problem solving ability(r=0.54, p=0.00), communication ability(r=0.56, p=0.00) and self-directed learning ability(r=0.54, p=0.00). Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that problem solving ability, communication ability and self-directed learning ability are significant factors affecting critical thinking in student nurses.

연령, 성별, 사회측정적지위에 따른 아동의 자기능력지각과 부모의 책임지각 (Perceived competence of Children and Perception of responsibilities of Parents Based on Age, Sex, Sociometric Status)

  • The purpose of this study is to see difference based on age, sex, sociometric ststus for perceived competence of children and difference about perception of responsibilities degree of parents of these children. the content of study as follows. 1. How is the difference about perceived competence of children based on age, sex, sociometric status. 2. How is the difference about perception of responsibilities of children based on age, sex, sociometric status. 3. How is the relationship between father and mother. The subject of this study is children and their parents of 126 persons of the third grade, sixth grade of S elementary school, the second grade of S middle school, the second grade of S girls' middle school which are located in Pusan city. This study used a peer nomination among sociometric assesment method as sociolity assessment means, self-perception profile for children of Harter(1985) as perceived competence assessment means of children and used self-perception profile for children which amends fits for parents. the collected data are managed by SPSS/PC+ program. We analyze three-way ANOVA to verify study question No, one, two, analyze t-verification and Pearson's product moment correlations to verify study question No. three. The result of this study as follows. First, in investigating difference about perceived compretence of children based on age, sex, sociometric status, we can see that children perceive high, self-ability for low ages. Also, boys than girls, popular children than rejected children, neglected children perceive high self-ability. Second, in investigating difference about perception of responsibilities of children based on age, sex, sociometric status, we can see that mother perceive responsibilities in learning sphere, exercise sphere, the whole self-value sphere and father perceive responsibility only in social sphere. Third, in investigating relation between perception of responsibilities of father and mother, this shows that difference between perception of responsibilities of father and mother is not showed ane have (+) interrelation of r=.46(P<.001) between perception of responsibilities of father and perception of responsibilities of mother.

다문화정책의 시사점 도출을 위한 다문화가정아동의 능력지각과 자율성에 관한 실증적 분석 (Multicultural Policy Implications Derived for the Multicultural Children's Cognitive Abilities and Autonomy about an Empirical Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 다문화가정 아동의 능력지각이 자율성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 다문화정책의 시사점 도출을 위해 SPSS 19.0과 AMOS 19.0을 이용하여 실증적 분석을 실시하였다. 이를 위하여 A광역시와 Y시 지역에 위치한 초등학교 고학년을 대상으로 자율성에 관한 설문조사를 실시하여 최종 자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구를 통해 밝혀진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다문화가정아동의 사회적 능력지각과 개인적 능력지각은 심리적 안녕감에 영향이 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 다문화가정아동의 심리적 안녕감이 자율성에 영향이 미치는 것으로 확인되었으며, 셋째, 다문화가정 아동의 사회적 능력지각과 개인적 능력지각이 자율성에 영향이 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결과적으로 실증적 분석을 수행하여 도출한 분석결과를 요약하면 독립변수인 사회적 능력지각과 개인적 능력지각이 심리적 안녕감에 영향을 미치고 또한 종속변수인 자율성에 영향이 미치는 것으로 나타난 결과 이러한 인과관계를 통해 다문화가정 아동의 능력지각에 의미 있는 사실을 발견하였다.

간호학생의 자기표출과 역할갈등의 관계연구 (The Relationship Between Self-disclosure and Role Conflict in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The Purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between self-disclosure and role conflict in nursing students. Method: The subjects were 386 nursing students who were in college and university. The data were collected from July 26 to September 18, 2004 by the structured questionnaires. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, and ANOVA & t-test with SAS package were used. Results: 1. The mean of self-disclosure perceived by nursing students was 3.57(${\pm}$.53), and the mean of role conflict perceived by nursing students was 3.62(${\pm}$.49). If the role conflict was divided into subcategory, deficiency of ability and skill was 3.77(${\pm}$.60), role ambiguity was 3.66(${\pm}$.54), and internal conflict was 3.49(${\pm}$.62). 2. 'Role conflict', 'deficiency of ability and skill', 'role ambiguity' and 'internal conflict' were positively related to 'self-disclosure'. 3. 'Self-disclosure' showed a significant difference according to interpersonal relations, meaning on nursing job and 'role conflict' showed a significant difference according to school career, present grade. Conclusion: this study suggested that there are need to implement self-disclosure training program for nursing student to decrease role conflict.

간호사의 멘토링 기능과 경력 몰입의 관계에 대한 자기주도학습 능력의 조절 효과 (The Moderating Effects of Self-directed Learning Ability on the Relationship between Mentoring Function and Career Commitment in Registered Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the moderating effects of self-directed learning ability on the relationship between mentoring function and career commitment in registered nurses. Methods: A total of 396 registered nurses from 19 hospitals located in Incheon were included in this study. Collected data were analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, Pearson product moment correlation and hierarchical regression analysis with SPSS and AMOS 18.0 program. Results: The mentoring function and self-directed learning ability showed to have a positive effect on career commitment. Self-directed learning ability showed to have a moderating effect on the relationship between mentoring function and career commitment. Conclusion: To enhance the level of career commitment perceived by registered nurses, hospital organizations need to implement effective mentoring programs and develop self-directed learning ability in nurses.

중년여성의 유머감각, 유머대처, 스트레스 지각 및 자아존중감과의 관계 (The Relationship between Sense of Humor, Coping with Humor, Perceived Stress and Self-esteem in the Middle-aged Women)

  • Purpose: This study was performed to identify the relationship between Sense of Humor, Coping Humor, Perceived stress and self-esteem in the middle-aged women. Methods: Data were collected from the 20th of June to the 30th of August in 2009 from 145 middle-aged women living in Seoul. Data analysis was done with SPSS/WIN 12.0 program for descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation. Results: The mean score of the humor sense was $55.94{\pm}6.52$, coping humor was $21.11{\pm}3.82$, perceived stress was $22.21{\pm}3.03$ and self-esteem was $27.50{\pm}2.88$. Subcategories of sense of humor were that emotional expressiveness was average $20.75{\pm}2.70$, meta-message sensitivity was average $20.12{\pm}2.74$ and liking of humor was average $15.13{\pm}3.44$. Sense of humor was difference according to the economic status(t=2.000, p=.047), coping humor was difference according to the on medication use(t=2.227, p=.027). There was a significant correlation between the coping humor, perceived stress and the self-esteem. When the coping humor was higher, perceived stress was lower and the self-esteem was higher. Conclusion: This study showed that medication and economic status influences the humor scores and the sense of humor and coping humor were related to perceived stress and self-esteem in middle-aged women Therefore, these findings can provide the basis for the development of nursing intervention to increase the ability to coping with stress.

관절염 환자의 운동행위 결정요인 (Determinant factors of Exercise behaviors in Patients with Arthritis)

  • The aims of this study were to understand and to predict the determinant factors affecting the exercise behaviors and physical fitness by testing the Ponder's health promotion model, and to help the patients with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis perform the continuous exercise program, and to help them maximize the physical effect such as muscle strength. endurance, and fuctional status and mental effects including self efficacy and quality of life, and improve the physical and mental wellbeing, and to provide a basis for the nursing intervention strategies. We analyzed the clinical records of 208 patients with rheumatoid arthritis and degenerative arthritis who visited the outpatient clinics at H university hospital in Seoul between October 5, 1999 and October 24, 1999. Data were composed of self reported questionnaire and good of fitness score which were obtained by pedalling the ergometer of bicycle for 9 minutes. SPSS Win 8.0 and Window LISREL 8.12a were used for statistical analysis. 24 Of 54 hypothetical paths were supported in modified model, which was considered as a proper model with improved fit index. The physical fitness was directly influenced by exercise participation behavior and education level, and indirectly by physical fitness, while fatigue, physical disability, pastexercise behavior, life-style, self-efficacy, which explained 20% of physical fitness. The exercise participation were directly influenced by perceived benefits and self-efficacy, and indirectly influenced by life-style, fatigue and physical disability, and directly and indirectly by past exercise behavior, which explained 53% of exercise participation. Exercise score were directly affected by perceived health status, perceived benefits, self efficacy, and past exercise behavior, and were indirectly affected by fatigue, physical disability, and life-style, which explained 50%. Perceived health status were directly influeced by level of education, depression, sleep disorder, and physical disability, which explained 34% of perceived health status. Perceived benefit was directly influenced by fatigue, sleep disorder, physical disability, and life-style, which explained 45%. Perceived barriers was directly influenced by fatigue, sleep disorder, and lifestyle, which explained 9%. Self- efficacy was directly influenced by fatigue, physical disability, past exercise behavior, and level of education, which explained 61%. In conclusion, important variables for physical fitness were exercise participation and level of education, and variables affecting exercise participation were perceived self-efficacy, benefits, and past exercise behavior. Perceived self-efficacy of exercise was a significant predictor of exercise participation. Life-style, fatigue, and physical disability showed direct effects on perceived benefit, perceived barriers, and self-efficacy, and indirect effects on exercise behavior. Therefore, disease related factor should be minimized for physical performance and well being in nursing intervention for patients with rheumatoid arthritis, and plans to promote and continue exercise should be soaked to reduce disability. In addition, Exercise program should be planned and performed by the exact evaluation of exercise according to the ability of the patients and the contents to improve the importance of exercise and self efficacy in self control program, dedicated educational program should be involved.

일 지역 고등학생의 정신건강 영향요인 -일반계 고등학교 3학년을 중심으로- (Factors affecting Mental health of high school students -Focused on the general high school students in the 3rd grade-)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 고등학생의 정신건강에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하기 위함이다. 연구대상은 B시 소재 인문계 고등학교 3학년에 재학 중인 학생 216명을 대상으로 하였으며, 자료수집은 2020년 5월 1일부터 5월 20일까지 시행하였다. 자료분석은 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's corelation coefficient, Scheffe's 사후검증과 다중회귀분석을 이용하였다. 연구결과, 자아존중감은 5점 만점에 평균 3.75±0.64점, 지각된 스트레스는 5점 만점에 평균 2.86±0.58점, 정서조절능력은 5점 만점에 평균 3.43±0.65점, 정신건강은 5점 만점에 평균 1.91±0.71점이었다. 정신건강은 자아존중감(r=-.64, p<.001), 정서조절능력(r=-.61, p<.001)과는 음의 상관관계를 보였으며, 지각된 스트레스(r=.54, p<.001)와는 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 정신건강의 영향요인은 자아존중감(β=-.46, p<.001), 정서조절능력(β=-.37, p<.001), 지각된 부정 스트레스(β=.17, p=.001)이었으며 설명력은 총 60.0%로 나타났다. 그러므로 고등학생의 정신건강 증진을 위해 자아존중감을 향상시키고 부정적 정서를 잘 조절할 수 있도록 도움을 줄 수 있는 프로그램 개발이 필요할 것이다.

영재와 평재의 자기조절 전략에 미치는 요인: 자율성 지지와 지적 능력에 대한 신념을 중심으로 (Factors Influencing Self-regulated Strategies: On Autonomy Support and Beliefs of Intelligence Ability of Gifted and Non-gifted Students)

  • 본 연구는 고등학생의 성취 수준에 따라 세 집단(영재, 고성취 평재, 저성취 평재)으로 나누어 지각한 자율성 지지와 지적 능력에 대한 신념, 자기조절 전략 사용에 차이를 보이는지 살펴보고, 이들 변인 중 어떠한 특성이 자기조절 전략 사용에 유의미한 영향을 미치는지를 탐색하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 표집대상은 경기도 지역 영재학교 1개교, 고성취 평재와, 저성취 평재집단으로 분류한 일반 고등학교 2개교에 재학 중인 학생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 분석하였다. 학생들의 자율성 지지, 지적 능력에 대한 신념, 자기조절 전략을 측정한 결과, 성취 수준과 또래로부터의 자율성 지지와 지적 능력에 대한 항상성 신념 및 자기조절 전략 중 부적응적 자기조절 요인을 제외한 모든 하위 요인 간 유의한 정적 상관을 보인 반면, 성취 수준과 지적 능력에 대한 항상성 신념 및 자기조절 전략 중 부적응적 자기조절 요인과는 유의미한 부적 상관을 보였다. 또한, 성취 수준에 따른 학생들의 자율성 지지, 지적 능력에 대한 신념, 자기조절 전략의 차이를 비교한 결과, 또래로부터의 자율성 지지와 지적 능력에 대한 항상성 신념을 제외한 모든 하위 변인들에서 성취 수준이 높은 영재 집단이 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 볼 때, 학생들에게 보다 많은 자율성 지지를 제공하고, 지적 능력에 대한 향상 가능성 신념을 높여주는 것이 더 적극적인 자기조절 전략을 사용하도록 하는 것에 도움이 될 것으로 판단된다.

The Effect of Emotional Intelligence on Salesperson's Behavior and Customers' Perceived Service Quality

  • This study discusses salespersons' emotional intelligence, one of the key abilities necessary to meet customers' needs effectively, and express positive emotions in frequent interactions with customer. Emotional intelligence refers to self-controllability and social ability emphasizing pro-social aspect and understanding of others. This study investigates how salespersons' emotional intelligence affects adaptive selling and positive emotional expression during the process of interaction with customers, and how such adaptive selling and positive emotional expression affects the quality of service perceived by customers. The results show that greater salespersons' emotional intelligence results in better adaptive selling and positive emotional expression. Such adaptive selling and positive emotional expression had significant effects on the quality of service perceived by customers. These results are important in that they address emotional intelligence as salespersons' emotional ability, which has been overlooked as an antecedent variable for improving adaptive selling and display of positive emotion, consequently provide another factor to help salespersons improve their selling behavior.
