The Role of Tolerance to Promote the Improving the Quality of Training the Specialists in the Information Society

  • The essence of the definition of "tolerance" is analyzed. Motivational, knowledge and behavioral criteria for tolerance of future teachers are highlighted. Indicators of the motivational criterion are the formation of value orientations, motivational orientation, and the development of empathy. Originality and productivity of thoughts and judgments, tact of dialogue, pedagogical ethics and tact are confirmed as indicators of the knowledge criterion. The behavioral criterion includes social activity as a life position, emotional and volitional endurance, and self-control of one's own position. The formation of tolerance is influenced by a number of factors: the social environment, the information society, existing stereotypes and ideas in society, the system of education and relationships between people, and the system of values. The main factors that contribute to the education of tolerance in future teachers are highlighted. Analyzing the structure of tolerance, it is necessary to distinguish the following functions of tolerance: - motivational (determines the composition and strength of motivation for social activity and behavior, promotes the development of life experience, because it allows the individual to accept other points of view and vision of the solution; - informational (understanding the situation, the personality of another person); - regulatory (tolerance has a close connection with the strong - willed qualities of a person: endurance, selfcontrol, self-regulation, which were formed in the process of Education); - adaptive (allows the individual to develop in the process of joint activity a positive, emotional, stable attitude to the activity itself, which the individual carries out, to the object and subject of joint relations). The implementation of pedagogical functions in the information society: educational, organizational, predictive, informational, communicative, controlling, etc. provides grounds to consider pedagogical tolerance as an integrative personal quality of a representative of any profession in the field of "person-person". The positions that should become conditions for the formation of tolerance of the future teacher in the information society are listed.

  • In recent years, the intellectual property rights (IPR) are increasingly becoming trade goods and the subject of international trade negotiations. During the past decades, intellectual properties earned critical importance for economic development in both developed and developing countries. Developed countries, headed by the United States, that recognize the economic value of the IPR in the world market are aggressively seeking for universal protection of IPR throughout the world. Intellectual properties have unique qualities that distinguish them from other tangible goods. Most importantly, they are public goods created on the basis of knowledge and information accumulated throughout human history and shared by different cultures. However, there is a growing tendency that the quality of public goods are being etched away as the property concept in IPR expands. In this paper, I discuss how copyright and patent laws incorporated the concept of property right as natural right to one's intellectual creations in early formation of the laws in Europe. I argue that copyright law and patent law are the historical products resulting from political, economic, and ideological factors interacting in a certain society. A history of copyright and patent points to that the intellectual property rights as natural lights of authors and inventors as argued by developed countries in international disputes, are not universal, but unique historical products. Copyright and patent laws have been shaped and developed as regulatory measures by governments to promote and control industries by providing authors and inventors with monopoly incentives. Since property right was used as a regulatory device it was restricted. This is to enhance the distribution of knowledge and information rather than to ensure the property right as an absolute right.

대학도서관의 지역사회연대와 서비스에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Community Solidarity and Services of University Libraries)

  • 대학은 그 형성과 발전 속에서 인류문화의 산실로서 지역사회와 유기적 관계를 맺고 있다. 대학도서관은 대학구성원의 교육연구학습을 지원하고 지역사회 주민에게 대학의 지식정보자원을 제공해야 한다. 이 연구는 대학도서관의 지역사회 연대의 필요성과 중요성을 살펴보고 국내외적으로 어떤 서비스가 이루어지고 있는지에 대한 현황을 조사 분석하였다. 여기에서 나타난 문제점에 대한 해결책으로서 그 활용방안을 평생학습과 연구활동 지원, 지식정보서비스, 지역사회공헌의 필요요건 측면에서 제시하였다.

간호대학생이 지각한 COVID-19의 지식, 불안이 예방행위 수행정도에 미치는 영향 (Perceived Knowledge, Anxiety and Compliance with Preventive Behavior Performance on COVID-19 by Nursing College Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 COVID-19 예방행위 수행정도에 영향을 주는 요인을 분석하고자 수행되었다. 2020년 4월 24일부터 5월 6일까지 1~4학년 195명 간호대학생이 온라인을 통한 자가보고식 설문조사에 응답하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS/WIN 23.0으로 기술통계, Independent-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, multiple regression analysis을 진행하였다. 연구결과 COVID-19에 대한 예방행위 수행은 지식과 불안에서 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 예방행위 수행에 영향을 미치는 요인은 지식(β=.418, p<.001), 불안(β=.280, p<.001), 자가격리 경험(β=-.107, p<.05)으로 설명력은 40.4%였다. 결론적으로 간호학생들의 COVID-19에 대한 정확하고 긍정적인 지식 형성이 필요하며 일상생활에서 예방행위 수행을 실천할 수 있는 교육프로그램의 개발과 적용이 필요하다.

조직사회화에 대한 개념분석 (Concept Analysis of Organizational Socialization)

  • Purpose : The concept of organizational socialization has been regarded as an abstract concept of organizational learning process and it has been used as strategy for the organizational goal attainment. New graduated nurses' organizational socialization has been a very important process for learning knowledge, skills and behaviors in hospital setting. This study was to analyze and clarify the meaning of the concept of Organizational Socialization. Method : This study use the process of Walker & Avant's concept analysis. Results : The critical attributes of organizational socialization were identified as : 1) Internalization of Value and belief of organization; 2) Learning of organizational rules and modes of living; 3) Improvement of job performance; 4) Maintenance of supportive relationship; 5) Formation of occupational identity. The antecedents of organizational socialization consist of those facts that 1) negative feeling of role; 2) difficulties of interpersonal relationship; 3) unskilled work performance. And the consequences of organizational socialization consist of those facts that 1) organizational commitment; 2) job satisfaction; 3) intention of leave work setting; 4) improvement of job performance; 5) improvement of decision making; 6) maintenance of supportive relationship. Conclusion : Through this concept analysis, the concept of organizational socialization is defined as internalization of value and belief of organization, learning of organizational rules and modes of living, improvement of job performance, maintenance of supportive relationship and formation of occupational identity.

  • The article presents the concept of ICT - competence, which is considered as the most important characteristic of professional competence, which includes a combination of the following components: motivational-value (orientation of the individual to the development of his ITC-competence in future professional activities); technological (complex of skills and abilities of ICT activities); cognitive (a system of knowledge of modern technologies of future professional activity); it is determined that the pedagogical support of the formation of ICT competence of future specialists is the individualization of the process training, due to their personal and professional needs and the specifics of a regional university, providing the necessary conditions for the implementation of this process.

중학교 일정성분비의 법칙 수업에서 나타난 과학교사의 교수지향과 그의 형성에 영향을 준 요인 (Orientation toward Teaching of Science Teachers Showed in Lesson on Law of Definite Composition in Middle School and the Factors Which Influenced Its Formation)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 중학교 일정성분비의 법칙 수업에서 드러난 과학교사의 교수지향과 이의 형성에 영향을 준 요인을 알아보는 것이었다. 이를 위해 이 연구에 참여한 과학 교사 8명의 수업을 녹화 및 분석하고 면담, CoRe 질문지 등을 통하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수업 과정에서 드러난 교사의 활동으로부터 그의 과학교수 지향을 알아내고, 수집한 자료의 분석을 통하여 각 교사의 교수지향 형성에 영향을 준 요인을 추출하였다. 연구 결과, 과학교사들의 교수지향은 크게 활동 지향과 강의 지향으로 구분되었으며, 활동 지향은 다시 탐구적 혹은 비탐구적, 강의 지향은 상호작용 중심 혹은 내용전달 중심으로 범주화 되었다. 과학교사들의 교수지향 형성에 영향을 준 요인은 수업경험을 통한 반성적 사고, 동료교사와의 상호작용, 교육환경에 대한 고려, 학습자로서의 수업 및 연수내용, 교사 자신의 흥미와 호기심이었는데, 그 중에서 수업 경험을 통한 반성적 사고가 가장 큰 영향을 주었고, 교사 자신의 흥미와 호기심은 제한적이지만 긍정적인 과학교수 지향 형성에 강력한 영향을 주었다. 반면에 교육환경에 대한 고려는 다른 요인들과는 달리 교사들의 과학교수 지향 형성에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 동료교사와의 상호작용, 대학이나 대학원에서의 수업 내용 및 현직 교사를 위한 연수 내용은 과학교수 지향 형성에 일정 부분 영향을 주었으나, 주로 교과내용 지식의 형성에 영향을 주는 수준으로 나타났다.

PROCESSING OF INTERSTELLAR DUST GRAINS IN GALAXIES

  • We have performed a systematic study of interstellar dust grains in various environments of galaxies. AKARI has revealed the detailed properties of dust grains not only in star-forming regions but also in regions not relevant to star formation, some of which are found not to follow our old empirical knowledge. Because of its unique capabilities, AKARI has provided new knowledge on the processing of large grains and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). For example, we detect PAHs from elliptical galaxies, which show unusual spectral features and spatial distributions, demonstrating importance of material processing in the interstellar space. We find that copious amounts of large grains and PAHs are flowing out of starburst galaxies by galactic superwinds, which are being shattered and destroyed in galactic haloes. We discover evidence for graphitization of carbonaceous grains near the center of our Galaxy, providing a clue to understanding the activity of the Galactic center. We review the results obtained from our AKARI program, focusing on the processing of carbonaceous grains in various environments of galaxies.

국립공원 자연관찰로를 통한 생태교육적 장소정체성 형성에 대한 기호학적 해석 (A Semiotic Analysis of the Formation of Ecologically Educational Place Identity through Nature Trails in National Parks)

  • 본 연구에서는 국립공원 자연관찰로의 특징(기호)과 초등과학 환경 관련 핵심개념 및 환경교과의 생태교육 영역과의 연계성을 분석한 후, 바르트의 기호학적 이론을 바탕으로 장소정체성 기호학적 해석모델을 개발하여 초등학생부터 성인까지 가능한 자연관찰로의 생태교육적 장소정체성 형성 과정을 분석하였다. 내장산국립공원의 원적골 자연관찰로, 소백산국립공원의 희방계곡 자연찰로와 한려해상국립공원의 금산 자연관찰로를 연구 대상으로 하였다. 자연관찰로의 해설판 중심의 주변환경과 생태교육 내용체계와의 연계성을 분석한 결과, '생태환경의 체계' 영역과 가장 높은 연계성을 보였다. 자연관찰로의 장소정체성 형성 과정을 기호학적으로 분석한 결과, 장소성 형성에는 지리적 위치나 경관, 인공적 환경, 주변자연환경의 특징인 물리적 요소가 대부분 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. 장소감 형성은 지식과 애착 요소가 동일하게 작용할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 장소성과 장소감 요소의 상호작용을 통해 형성될 수 있는 장소정체성은 행동적 내부 단계와 공감적 내부성 단계가 대부분이었다. 그러나 장소정체성 형성의 다양성을 위해서는 환경교육 프로젝트 개발과 자연관찰로 환경의 특이성이 반영된 주변환경과 해설판이 조성될 필요가 있다.

네트워크 구조와 조직학습문화, 지식경영참여가 개인창의성 및 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증분석: SI제안팀과 R&D팀의 비교연구 (Exploring Influence of Network Structure, Organizational Learning Culture, and Knowledge Management Participation on Individual Creativity and Performance: Comparison of SI Proposal Team and R&D Team)

  • Recently, firms are operating a number of teams to accomplish organizational performance. Especially, ad hoc teams like proposal preparation team are quite different from permanent teams like R&D team in the sense of how the team forms network structure and deals with organizational learning culture and knowledge management participation efforts. Moreover, depending on the team characteristics, individual creativity will differ from each other, which will lead to organizational performance eventually. Previous studies in the field of creativity are lacking in this issue. So main objectives of this study are organized as follows. First, the issue of how to improve individual creativity and organizational performance will be analyzed empirically. This issue will be performed depending on team characteristics such as ad hoc team and permanent team. Antecedents adopted for this research objective are cultural and knowledge factors such as organizational learning culture, and knowledge management participation. Second, the network structure such as degree centrality, and structural hole is used to analyze its influence on individual creativity and organizational performance. SI (System Integration) companies are facing severely tough requirements from clients to submit very creative proposals. Also, R&D teams are widely accepted as relatively creative teams because their responsibilities are focused on suggesting innovative techniques to make their companies remain competitive in the market. SI teams are usually ad hoc, while R&D teams are permanent on an average. By taking advantage of these characteristics of the two kinds of teams, we will prove the validity of the proposed research questions. To obtain the survey data, we accessed 7 SI teams (74 members), and 6 R&D teams (63 members), collecting 137 valid questionnaires. PLS technique was applied to analyze the survey data. Results are as follows. First, in case of SI teams, organizational learning culture affects individual creativity significantly. Meanwhile, knowledge management participation has a significant influence on Individual creativity for the permanent teams. Second, degree centrality Influences individual creativity significantly in case of SI teams. This is comparable with the fact that structural hole has a significant impact on individual creativity for the R&D teams. Practical implications can be summarized as follows: First, network structure of ad hoc team should be designed differently from one of permanent team. Ad hoc team is supposed to show a high creativity in a rather short period, implying that network density among team members should be improved, and those members with high degree centrality should be encouraged to show their Individual creativity and take a leading role by allowing them to get heavily engaged in knowledge sharing and diffusion. In contrast, permanent team should be designed to take advantage of structural hole instead of focusing on network density. Since structural hole can be utilized very effectively in the permanent team, strong arbitrators' merits in the permanent team will increase and therefore helps increase both network efficiency and effectiveness too. In this way, individual creativity in the permanent team is likely to lead to organizational creativity in a seamless way. Second, way of Increasing individual creativity should be sought from the perspective of organizational culture and knowledge management. Organization is supposed to provide a cultural atmosphere in which Innovative idea suggestions and active discussion among team members are encouraged. In this way, trust builds up among team members, facilitating the formation of organizational learning culture. Third, in the ad hoc team, organizational looming culture should be built such a way that individual creativity can grow up fast in a rather short period. Since time is tight, reasonable compensation policy, leader's Initiatives, and learning culture formation should be done In a short period so that mutual trust is built among members quickly, and necessary knowledge and information can be learnt rapidly. Fourth, in the permanent team, it should be kept in mind that the degree of participation in knowledge management determines level of Individual creativity. Therefore, the team ought to facilitate knowledge circulation process such as knowledge creation, storage, sharing, utilization, and learning among team members, which will lead to team performance. In this way, firms must control knowledge networks in permanent team and ad hoc team in a way mentioned above so that individual creativity as well as team performance can be maximized.
