As multi-source spatial data fusion mainly deal with various types of spatial data which are specific representations of real world with unequal reliability and incomplete knowledge, proper data representation and uncertainty analysis become more important. In relation to this problem, this paper presents and applies an advanced data representation methodology for different types of spatial data such as categorical and continuous data. To account for the uncertainties of both categorical data and continuous data, fuzzy boundary representation and smoothed kernel density estimation within a fuzzy logic framework are adopted, respectively. To investigate the effects of those data representation on final fusion results, a case study for landslide hazard mapping was carried out on multi-source spatial data sets from Jangheung, Korea. The case study results obtained from the proposed schemes were compared with the results obtained by traditional crisp boundary representation and categorized continuous data representation methods. From the case study results, the proposed scheme showed improved prediction rates than traditional methods and different representation setting resulted in the variation of prediction rates.

이 논문은 2000년대에 등장한 한국 포스트 다큐멘터리의 자기-재현 전략을 분석하여, 자기-재현 양식이 가진 영상적 글쓰기의 가능성들을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이에 우선 다큐멘터리의 이론적 배경을 살펴보고, 빌 니콜스가 제시한 시적 양식과 수행적 양식에서 그 이론적 개념을 도출하여 포스트 다큐멘터리가 가진 자기-재현의 전략들을 세 가지로 구분하여 논의해보고자 하였다. 그 세 가지 자기-재현 전략은 자기-정동으로서의 재현, 자기-신체로서의 재현, 자기-시각적 재현으로 작품 분석을 통해 자기-재현의 가능성을 논의해보고자 하였다. 이 논의의 과정 속에서 자기-재현 양식이 어떻게 권력자의 체계로 이루어진 기존의 시각적 체계를 해체하고, 다양한 여성, 소수자가 등장할 수 있는 대안적 영상 글쓰기로 기능하는지 검토해보고자 한다.

Fuzzy information representation of multi-source spatial data is applied to landslide hazard mapping. Information representation based on frequency ratio and non-parametric density estimation is used to construct fuzzy membership functions. Of particular interest is the representation of continuous data for preventing loss of information. The non-parametric density estimation method applied here is a Parzen window estimation that can directly use continuous data without any categorization procedure. The effect of the new continuous data representation method on the final integrated result is evaluated by a validation procedure. To illustrate the proposed scheme, a case study from Jangheung, Korea for landslide hazard mapping is presented. Analysis of the results indicates that the proposed methodology considerably improves prediction capabilities, as compared with the case in traditional continuous data representation.

We prove that $M_1\longrightarrow^f\;M_2$ is an injective representation of a quiver $Q={\bullet}{\rightarrow}{\bullet}$ if and only if $M_1\;and\;M_2$ are injective left R-modules, $M_1\longrightarrow^f\;M_2$ is isomorphic to a direct sum of representation of the types $E_l{\rightarrow}0$ and $M_1\longrightarrow^{id}\;M_2$ where $E_l\;and\;E_2$ are injective left R-modules. Then, we generalize the result so that a representation$M_1\longrightarrow^{f_1}\;M_2\; \longrightarrow^{f_2}\;\cdots\;\longrightarrow^{f_{n-1}}\;M_n$ of a quiver $Q={\bullet}{\rightarrow}{\bullet}{\rightarrow}{\cdots}{\rightarrow}{\bullet}$ is an injective representation if and only if each $M_i$ is an injective left R-module and the representation is a direct sum of injective representations.

It is not too much to say that problem solving is still the focus of school mathematics though the trend of mathematics education for ten year from the one of 1980 is problem solving and the one of mathematics education for ten year from the one of 1990 is standards and constructivism. There are so many crucial clues or methods in good problem solving but I think that one of them is a representation. So, the purpose of this study is to investigate what is the meaning of representation in general and why representation is so important in elementary mathematics learning, Moreover, I have analyzed the gifted children's thinking of representation which is appeared in the previous internet home task of 40 gifted children who are selected through the examination of 1st, 2nd with paper and pencil and 3rd with practical skill and interview and finally I have presented some examples of children's representation how they use representation to model, investigate and understand special concept more easily in elementary school mathematics class.

In this paper, we construct the Schr$\ddot{o}$dinger-Weil representation of the Jacobi group associated with a positive definite symmetric real matrix of degree m and find covariant maps for the Schr$\ddot{o}$dinger-Weil representation.

In this paper the left regular representation and the reduced $C^*$-algebra for a commutative separative semigroup is defined. The universal representation, the reduced $C^*$-algebra and the full $C^*$-algebra for the additive semigroup $N^+$ are given. Also it is proved that $C*_r(N^+){\ncong}C^*(N^+)$.

This paper deals with, by employing the relation between Cauchy representation and the Fourier transform and properties of the former in $L_1$-space, the investigation of the Cauchy representation of integrable Boehmians as a natural extension of tempered distributions, we have investigated Cauchy representation of tempered Boehmians. An inversion formula is also proved.

In this paper, we establish a complex matrix representation of the Clifford algebra Cℓ_p,q. The size of our representation is significantly smaller than the size of the elements in L_p,q(ℝ). Additionally, we give detailed information about the spectrum of the constructed matrix representation.

This paper presents a new representation algorithm which computes the representation for elements of a free group generated by two linear fractional transformations and also the justification of the algorithm in order to show how it operates correctly and efficiently according to inputs.
