RINGS WITH IDEAL-SYMMETRIC IDEALS

  • Let R be a ring with identity. An ideal N of R is called ideal-symmetric (resp., ideal-reversible) if $ABC{\subseteq}N$ implies $ACB{\subseteq}N$ (resp., $AB{\subseteq}N$ implies $BA{\subseteq}N$) for any ideals A, B, C in R. A ring R is called ideal-symmetric if zero ideal of R is ideal-symmetric. Let S(R) (called the ideal-symmetric radical of R) be the intersection of all ideal-symmetric ideals of R. In this paper, the following are investigated: (1) Some equivalent conditions on an ideal-symmetric ideal of a ring are obtained; (2) Ideal-symmetric property is Morita invariant; (3) For any ring R, we have $S(M_n(R))=M_n(S(R))$ where $M_n(R)$ is the ring of all n by n matrices over R; (4) For a quasi-Baer ring R, R is semiprime if and only if R is ideal-symmetric if and only if R is ideal-reversible.

  • In this paper, we introduce the concept of tripolar fuzzy sub-semigroups, tripolar fuzzy ideals, tripolar fuzzy quasi-ideals, and tripolar fuzzy bi-ideals of an ordered semigroup and study some algebraic properties of them. Moreover, we prove that tripolar fuzzy bi-ideals and quasi-ideals coincide only in a particular class of ordered semigroups. Finally, we prove that every tripolar fuzzy quasi-ideal is the intersection of a tripolar fuzzy left and a tripolar fuzzy right ideal.

  • Lajos([1-3]) gave the ideal-theoretical characterizations of some classes of semigroups without "order". The first author([4]) gave the ideal-theoretical characterization of some classes of po-semigroup with order $"{\leq}"$. In this paper we give the other characterizations.

  • Let $R={\bigoplus}_{{\alpha}{\in}{\Gamma}}\;R_{\alpha}$ be a graded integral domain, H be the set of nonzero homogeneous elements of R, and ${\star}$ be a semistar operation on R. The purpose of this paper is to study the properties of $quasi-Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ and UMt-domains of graded integral domains. For this reason we study the graded analogue of ${\star}-quasi-Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ domains called $gr-{\star}-quasi-Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ domains. We study several ring-theoretic properties of $gr-{\star}-quasi-Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ domains. As an application we give new characterizations of UMt-domains. In particular it is shown that R is a $gr-t-quasi-Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ domain if and only if R is a UMt-domain if and only if RP is a $quasi-Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ domain for each homogeneous maximal t-ideal P of R. We also show that R is a UMt-domain if and only if H is a t-splitting set in R[X] if and only if each prime t-ideal Q in R[X] such that $Q{\cap}H ={\emptyset}$ is a maximal t-ideal.

  • In this paper we introduce and give some characterizations of (m, n)-regular le-${\Gamma}$-semigroup in terms of (m, n)-ideal elements and (m, n)-quasi-ideal elements. Also, we give some characterizations of subidempotent (m, n)-ideal elements in terms of $r_{\alpha}$- and $l_{\alpha}$- closed elements.

  • Let R be a ring R and ${\sigma}$ be an endomorphism of R. R is called ${\sigma}$-rigid (resp. reduced) if $a{\sigma}r(a) = 0 (resp{\cdot}a^2 = 0)$ for any $a{\in}R$ implies a = 0. An ideal I of R is called a ${\sigma}$-ideal if ${\sigma}(I){\subseteq}I$. R is called ${\sigma}$-quasi-Baer (resp. right (or left) ${\sigma}$-p.q.-Baer) if the right annihilator of every ${\sigma}$-ideal (resp. right (or left) principal ${\sigma}$-ideal) of R is generated by an idempotent of R. In this paper, a skew polynomial ring A = R[$x;{\sigma}$] of a ring R is investigated as follows: For a ${\sigma}$-rigid ring R, (1) R is ${\sigma}$-quasi-Baer if and only if A is quasi-Baer if and only if A is $\={\sigma}$-quasi-Baer for every extended endomorphism $\={\sigma}$ on A of ${\sigma}$ (2) R is right ${\sigma}$-p.q.-Baer if and only if R is ${\sigma}$-p.q.-Baer if and only if A is right p.q.-Baer if and only if A is p.q.-Baer if and only if A is $\={\sigma}$-p.q.-Baer if and only if A is right $\={\sigma}$-p.q.-Baer for every extended endomorphism $\={\sigma}$ on A of ${\sigma}$.

  • In this paper, the class of quasi-annihilator (homo)flat acts based on the notion of quasi-annihilator ideal is introduced. This class lies strictly between the classes of weakly (homo)flat and principally weakly (homo)flat acts. Some properties of such kinds of flatness are studied. We present some homological classifications for monoids by means of quasiannihilator (homo)flatness of their right Rees factor acts.

  • Using the concept of fuzzy points, the notions of fuzzy point BCC-(sub) algebras, quasi BCC-(sub)algebras and quasi BCC-ideals are introduced. Some characterizations of them are discussed.
