탐색을 강조한 순환학습이 초등학생들의 과학학습 동기 및 과학적 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Learning Cycle Emphasized Exploration on Elementary School Students' Science Learning Motivation and Scientific Attitude)

  • The purpose of this study was to see the influences of science class applying learning cycle emphasized exploration on science learning motivation and scientific attitude of elementary students. The results drawn from this analysis were as below. Firstly, positive relationship was found between science learning motivation and science class applying learning cycle emphasized exploration among the research group. This shows that science learning motivation was improved by science class applying learning cycle emphasized exploration. It indicates that science class applying learning cycle emphasized exploration is effective in improving science learning motivations. Secondly, positive relationship was found between scientific attitude and science class applying learning cycle emphasized exploration among the research group and this means that science class applying learning cycle that emphasizes exploration stimulates intellectual curiosity of elementary school students and improves their scientific attitude. Thirdly, students thought that science class applying learning cycle emphasized exploration was very effective to improve their satisfaction, interest, participation in their science classes. Above results show that science class applying learning cycle emphasized exploration is highly effective for elementary students. Thus, it is needed to utilize science class applying learning cycle emphasized exploration to current science class as it can promote wider scientific activities among elementary school students.

플립드러닝(Flipped Learning) 학습법이 치위생 실습수업 만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Flipped Learning(FL) Methods of Dental Hygiene Practice Satisfaction)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the effect of flipped-learning method on dental hygiene practice satisfaction. Methods: The study was a patient-group crossover design involving 53 third-year students at D's Department of Dental Hygiene. The study tools used self-questionnair and the analysis program used SPSS Ver 25.0. Results: Class satisfaction increased to 3.85 in the first semester and 4.23 in the second semester (p <0.05). Satisfaction with the flip learning method was 4.26, and most answered yes. In addition, it showed a positive effect on class satisfaction (p <0.01). As a result, it can be seen that the flip-learning learning method has a positive effect on the learners' learning motivation, academic achievement, and class satisfaction. Conclusions: it is considered that the flip learning method for hands-on classes should be expanded for the purpose of fostering job competency and high quality clinical practice experts.

간호대학생의 인지적 유연성과 이러닝 디지털 리터러시가 학습몰입에 미치는 영향 (The influence of e-learning digital literacy on cognitive flexibility and learning flow in nursing students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of cognitive flexibility and e-learning digital literacy on the learning flow of nursing students who had experienced e-learning. Methods: The research design for this study was a descriptive survey using convenience sampling. Data were collected using online questionnaires completed by 134 nursing students in Andong city and Pocheon city. The data were analyzed using percentages, mean values, standard deviations, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression with SPSS for Windows version 22.0. Results: Positive correlations were found between learning flow and e-learning digital literacy (r = .43, p < .001), between learning flow and cognitive flexibility (r = .52, p < .001), and between e-learning digital literacy and cognitive flexibility (r = .65, p < .001). In the multiple regression analysis, cognitive flexibility (β = .42, p < .001) was a significant predictor that explained 27.8% of variance in learning flow. Conclusion: The results of this study show that cognitive flexibility is a factor influencing learning flow in nursing students. Based on the results of the study, educational programs aiming to improve learning flow should include methods that improve cognitive flexibility.

과학 학습에서 유발되는 과학상태호기심 및 과학상태불안 수준에 따른 학습효과 (Learning Effects According to the Level of Science State Curiosity and Science State Anxiety Evoked in Science Learning)

  • 본 연구는 초등학교 5~6 학년 학생을 대상으로 과학 학습 상황에서 과학상태호기심(Science State Curiosity; SSC) 및 과학상태불안(Science State Anxeity; SSA) 수준에 따른 학습효과를 구명하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 과학 학습을 과학 문제 대면(I), 결과 확인(II), 과학 개념 학습(III)의 세 가지 상황으로 구분하여 각 학습 상황에서 SSC 및 SSA를 측정하여 분석하였다. SSC 및 SSA가 학습효과에 미치는 순 영향을 파악하기 위해 학습효과에 영향을 줄 것으로 예상되는 과학호기심, 인지욕구, 과학자아개념, 과학불안, 흥미를 통제하였다. 과학 문제 대면 상황에서의 SSC 및 SSA를 'SSCI' 및 'SSAI'으로, 결과 확인 상황에서의 SSC 및 SSA를 'SSCII' 및 'SSAII'로, 과학 개념 학습 상황에서의 SSC 및 SSA를 'SSCIII' 및 'SSAIII'로 정의하였다. 그리고 학습효과를 직후학습효과와 지연학습효과로 구분하여 사전검사 점수에 비하여 직후검사 또는 지연검사 점수가 향상된 정도를 산출하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 직후학습효과는 SSCI·SSCII가 높을수록, SSAI·SSAII·SSAIII가 낮을수록 높았으며, 지연학습효과는 SSCI·SSCII가 높을수록, SSAIII가 낮을수록 높았다. SSC가 SSA보다 학습효과에 미치는 영향이 컸으며, 직후학습효과에는 SSCII가, 지연학습효과에는 SSCI이 가장 많은 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 SSCIII가 높을수록 추가적인 자발적 학습을 하는 경향이 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 과학 학습에서 학생의 정서적 상태에 대한 이해의 폭을 넓히고, 상태호기심 및 상태불안 연구에 대한 이론적 토대를 마련할 것으로 기대된다.

멀티미디어 과학 학습 프로그램의 개발과 과학 학업 성취, 학습에 대한 태도에 미치는 효과 연구 (Development of Computer Assisted Instruction Program in Multimedia Environment and its Effects on Science Achievement and Attitude towards Science Learning)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the computer assisted instruction program in multimedia environment, to examine the relative effects of two types of multimedia learning on science achievement and attitude towards science learning and to investigate the effects of treatment and students' learning ability. The results of this study were summarized as follows: 1. On science achievement; The multimedia learnings were more effective than the traditional one. Difference between multimedia learning I (through individualistic learning) and multimedia learning II(through peer interaction) was not significant. There was not interaction effect of treatment and students' learning ability. 2. On attitude towards science learning; The multimedia learnings were more effective than the traditional one. The multimedia learning I (through individualistic learning) was more effective than the multimedia learning II (through peer interaction). There was no interaction of treatment and students' learning ability. 3. On students' perceptions on multimedia learning; The students in the multimedia classes showed the multimedia learning were good in causing interest. making students absorbed in studies, and giving many learning materials, but not good in a couple of points such as making students bored and not explaining in detail.

간호대학 신입생의 자기조절학습능력이 학습지속의향에 미치는 영향: 학습동기의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Impact of Self-regulated Learning Ability on Learning Persistence Intention in Freshmen in Nursing College: Focusing on the Mediating Effects of Learning Motivation)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of self-regulated learning ability of freshmen in nursing college on the learning persistence intention, and to determine if their learning motivation meditates the relationship between them. Methods: The study design was based on descriptive research. Data were collected from 146 nursing freshmen studying at a university in D city from June 5, 2017 to June 7, 2017. Results: There was a positive correlation among learning persistence intention, self-regulated learning ability (r=.57, p<.001) and learning motivation (r=.60, p<.001). Also, it was found that learning motivation was positively correlated with self-regulated learning ability (r=.79, p<.001). According to the Sobel test results, the learning motivation had a complete mediating effect (${\beta}=.39$, p<.001) between self-regulated learning ability and learning persistence intention (Z=3.63, p<.001). Conclusion: Therefore, this study suggests developing a learning motivation program to improve self-regulated learning ability and learning persistence intention of nursing students during their freshman year.

언어네트워크분석에 기초한 과학학습의 목적에 대한 고등학교 교사와 학생들의 인식 (High School Teachers' and Students' Perceptions on the Purpose of Science Learning based on the Semantic Network Analysis)

  • 이 연구는 고등학교 교사와 학생들의 과학학습의 목적에 대한 일반화가 가능한 결과를 얻고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 비례층화표집 방식을 통해 전국의 160개 고등학교를 선정하여 교사와 학생에게 과학학습의 목적에 대한 개방형 설문 결과를 수집하였으며, 수집된 자료는 언어네트워크분석을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과 교사들은 과학학습의 목적으로 인지적 영역과 관련된 내재적 가치를 더 중요하게 인식하고 있지만 학생들은 개인적 유용성 영역과 관련된 외재적 가치를 보다 중요하게 인식하고 있었다. 또한 교사들의 교직경력에 따라 다른 인식을 가지고 있었다. 초임교사들은 내재적 가치와 외재적 가치를 함께 중요하게 인식하고 있었지만 경력교사들은 과학지식 이해의 인지적 영역을 주로 강조하고 있었다. 또한 학생들은 선택계열에 따라서도 과학학습의 목적에 대한 인식 차이가 있었다. 즉, 인문계열 학생들은 과학을 배운다면 일상생활의 편리성을 높일 수 있다는 것을 중요하게 인식하고 있었지만 자연계열 학생들은 과학학습의 목적이 무엇보다도 진로선택과 관련되어 있는 것으로 인식하고 있었다.

초등과학의 '지구와 우주' 분야에서 POE 수업모형 적용이 과학탐구능력 및 학업성취도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of POE Model on Science Process Skills and Academic Achievement in Domain 'Earth and Space' of Elementary School Science)

  • The purpose of this research is to explore the effects of the POE(Prediction-Observation-Explanation) teaching-learning model on the academic achievement and the capability of scientific inquiry of elementary school students. POE teaching-learning model is a three stage process modeling scientific inquiry : Prediction, Observation, and Explanation. This research is to see the effectiveness of the POE method in earth science class by applying this simple practical strategy out of various methods in science teaching with the purpose of improving the capability of scientific inquiry and the academic achievement of learners. The findings of the study are as follows: First, the POE strategy in science teaching-learning was found effective for the improvement of learners' scientific inquiry capability. Second, the POE strategy in science teaching-learning is effective for the improvement of learners' academic achievement in science. The findings mentioned above suggest that using the POE strategy in science class of elementary science education has significant effects on improvement of scientific academic achievement and scientific inquiry capability of learners compared with the general science teaching-learning strategy. It also shows to be highly recommendable for use in science class.

지구과학 수업에서 진단 및 형성평가 활용을 위한 스마트 맞춤 평가(SPA) 시스템의 개발 및 효과 (Development and Effects of Smart Personalized Assessment(SPA) System for Using of Diagnostic and Formative Assessment in Earth Science Classes)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop SPA system using diagnostic and formative assessment in earth science classes in order to discuss its effect on learning achievement and self-directed learning attitude. For this purpose, we developed total management system, app for teachers, and app for students. This research was practiced to 76 students in 5th grade. The results are as follows. Firstly, the group taking a class used by app for diagnostic and formative assessment had an effect of improving learning achievement. However, as for learning achievement long term endurance test, the group taking a class using app for diagnostic and formative assessment had no effect. Secondly, the group taking a class using apps for diagnostic and formative assessment had an effect of improving learners' self-directed learning attitude. As for self-directed long-term endurance test, the group taking a class using app for diagnostic and formative assessment had an effect. In conclusion, I hope that this SPA system might apply to the science classes as it is a system that will satisfy the needs of both teachers and students, giving much needed feedback to students.

생명의 연속성 개념에서 학습위계에 따른 수업효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Teaching Effect Based on the Learning Hierarchy in the "Life Continuity")

  • The purpose of the study is to certify the validity and effectiveness of the learning hierarchy and to define the effective teaching order in life continuity. To achieve this purpose, two experimental groups which were instructed varying the sequence of the instructional units. Teaching order based on the learning hierarchy was given to experimental group and descriptive order of current text was given to control group. The findings of the study are as follows: 1. Learning Hierarchy before learning had differ with order of the textbook, but hierarchy of both group has showed similar to the sequence of textbook, after learning. 2. The effect of learning hierarchy represented no significant different between control and experimental group.
