기업특성과 Quick Response Technologies의 사용 수준과의 관계 연구 (A Study of Relationship between Organizational Characteristics and the Usage Level of Quick Response Technologies)

  • 급변하는 국내외의 교역환경 변화에 따라 의류산업에도 새로운 경영 전략 수립이 요구되고 있다. Quick Response(QR)는 의류제품을 생산하는 기업의 경쟁력을 증가시키기 위해 소개된 새로운 경영 전략으로서, 유통 채녈 사이에 정보와 상품의 흐름을 효울화시켜 최대의 소비자 만족을 제공한다. 본 연구의 목적은 QR technologies의 사용현황을 밝히고 기업 특성과 QR technologies 사용수준과의 관계를 조사하였다. 종족변수는 QR technologies의 사용 수준이며, 선별된 독립변수들은 기업크기 (firm size), 기업전략 (organizational strategy), 제품종류(product category) , 패션변화(fashion change), 주기 적변화(seasonal change)였다. 조사대상은 미국 전역에서 무작위로 추출된 306개의 의류업체를 대상으로 하였으며, 1차 우편과 2차 전화로, 설문지를 통해 자료수집을 하였다. 설문 응답률은 47%(n=103)였고, 자료의 분석은 기술통계(i, e., 빈도, 퍼센트)와 비모수통계기법을 사용하였다. 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 QR technologies는 소량주문(small lot orders) , 단기 사이클 재단 계획 (short cycle cut planning)과 고객의 견이 반영 된 생산계획 (Production planning with customers)이였다. 가장 적게 사용되고 있는 QR technologies는 전자 재주문(electronic reorder)과 단위 생산 시스템 (unit production system)이 였다. QR technologies 사용수준에 관계가 있는 것은 기업크기 (firm size), 기업전략 (organizational strategy), 패션변화(fashion change) 임으로 나타났다. 의류업체의 크기가 클수록, 혁신적 선도기업 일수록, 패션변화가 큰 제품을 취급할수록 QR technologies의 사용수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 의류업체는 자원과 생산하는 제품종류에 따라 경영전략과 QR technologies의 사용수준이 다양하였다.

패션 상품 아이템 개발을 위한 창의적 발상법의 활용 -벨벳 상품의 사례- (Item Development for Fashion Products Using Creative Thinking Methods -A Case of Velvet Products-)

  • This study presents the process of fashion item development with velvet through creative thinking methods. Creativity is one of the most important requirements for a successful job career and education enhancing creative thinking is needed in the area of fabrication, product design, and marketing strategy development. Velvet was selected as a research stimulus because it is a luxurious fabric with various differential properties such as a soft touch, unique luster, excellent drapability, and fine physical properties. The research methodology included creative thinking methods review, the selection of the tools, idea sourcing and listing, sequential idea evaluation and sample product making. After review of the various creative thinking methods, a combination method and forced connection method were employed as research tools to confirm the usefulness of creative thinking training because of their independence of use and application simplicity. A total of 12 university students participated as subjects in this research. After some training, each student derived ten ideas for velvet products that utilized a combination method and forced connection method. A total of 120 ideas were evaluated for novelty, technical possibility, practicality, and marketability; subsequently, 24 ideas were adopted and developed as sample products. The effectiveness of creativity education in fabrication and product design classes was verified through the whole process of product planning.

패션 라이프스타일 숍의 체험마케팅 만족도가 구매 의도 및 충성도에 미치는 영향 (The impact of the experience marketing satisfaction with fashion lifestyle shops on purchase intention and loyalty)

  • With the greater importance of lifestyle shops and experience marketing, research is needed for the effective experience marketing of lifestyle shops by fashion product type. This study establishes effective and differentiated experience marketing strategies for fashion lifestyle shops by examining the effect of the experience marketing satisfaction with lifestyle shops on purchase intention and loyalty. This study categorizes lifestyle shops by fashion product types into a suit-oriented lifestyle shop, a casual/leisure/sportswear-oriented lifestyle shop and a home fashion lifestyle shop, Then a survey was conducted on participants who had visited lifestyle shop. As an analysis method, factor analysis, reliability analysis and regression analysis were conducted. In this study, we identified the experience marketing factors of fashion lifestyle shops. This study found that the satisfaction from experience marketing factors of fashion lifestyle shops by fashion product types affected purchase intention and loyalty differently. Considering the results of this study, it will be able to increase not only purchase intention and loyalty but also brand sustainability by establishing, applying, and executing a differentiated strategy considering the detailed factors of experience marketing for each fashion product type when planning and operating a fashion lifestyle shop. Through this study, effective marketing of fashion lifestyle shops by fashion product type will be implemented.

소매업체의 글로벌 확장전략과 공급사슬관리에 관한 연구: 메트로 그룹을 중심으로 (A Study on the Retailer's Global Expansion Strategy and Supply Chain Management : Focus on the Metro Group)

  • Purpose - The structure of retailing has changed as retailers develop markets in response to business environment changes. This study aims to analyze the general situation of retailers in order to predict future global strategy using case studies of overseas expansion strategy and the Metro Group's global strategy. Research design, data, and methodology - The backgrounds to the new retail business model and retailer classification are analyzed as theoretical data. In addition, the key success point of the Metro Group's "cash and carry" strategy is analyzed as is the Metro Group's global CFAR (collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment) strategy. Finally, the plan for cooperation and precise forecasting under the Metro Group's supply chain management are analyzed from the promotion environment viewpoint. Related materials analyzed included the 2012 annual report, the Metro Group's web page, and a video interview with the executive in charge of global strategy and the new market development department. Some data were revised to avoid disrupting essential aspects of the case studies. Results - The important finding was that the Metro Group could be a world-class retail company with its successful global expansion strategy. The Metro Group's global strategy's primary goal is to have a leading business position in Eastern and Western Europe. The "cash and carry" strategy is highest priority in its overseas expansion strategy. Moreover, the Metro Group has standardized product planning capacity, which could be applied in various countries with different structural and cultural backgrounds. This is the main reason that the Metro Group could rapidly become successful in the Eastern Europe and Asian markets through its structural overseas expansion strategies. In addition, the Metro Group emphasizes the importance of supply chain management. Conclusions - First, retailers should create additional value through utilizing the domestic market, market power, and economies of scale to launch a global strategy to maximize benefits from diversification. Second, the political, economic, and cultural background of the target country needs to be understood to successfully implement the overseas expansion strategy. Third, the main factor of successful cooperation with a local partner is how quickly the company gains total understanding of the business resources and core competence of its partner. All organizations should focus on the achievement of goals in order to successfully operate the partnership. Fourth, retailers should improve their business, financial and organizational structure. Moreover, the work processes and company culture should also be improved to respond strongly in the competitive global market. Fifth, the essential point of a successful retail business is the control capacity of its branding and format. The retailer could avoid forecasting errors through supply chain management by perfectly distributing the actual amount of its inventory. In addition, the risks along the supply chain are effectively shared between the supply chain partners. Finally, the central tendency of the market is to gain in strength with this taking place across all parts of the business.

  • Since the Six Sigma strategy was first introduced to Motorola in 1987, it has been taken as an important business strategy to strengthen the competitiveness of leading companies in the global competitive environment. To keep growing and thriving, modern companies need to develop new businesses and find new applications while keeping existing ones on track. This situation necessitates a more effective way of discovering an optimal scenario in a business. In this paper, we propose a Business for Six Sigma (BFSS) road-map to create new businesses. BFSS consists of five macro phases: define, identify, analyze, evaluate, and implement. We also provide an example of F electronics, a Korean electronics component manufacturer, which actually applied the BFSS road-map to analyze marketability, technological plausibility and economic potential/success in connection with its new product development.

  • At present, tendency of ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) enterprises is that many ERP enterprises from abroad are rushing into capture of small and medium enterprises at home actively. SAP Korea and Korean Oracle have already showed their new product targeting domestic market of small or medium standing enterprise, and more, even MS(Micro Soft) also rushes into this market in earnest. The domestic business circle of ERP should prepare countermeasure by raising the perfection of product and having good command of minute marketing strategy to survive from aggressive strategy of SMB market. In addition, about the computerization of main affairs of business, ordering developing process was general that developing staffs analysed the affairs of each department that needed computerization and construct according to the operation process by using different tools, but condition is changing that businesses themselves are purchasing business application package from expert soft program enterprise and construct. Therefore, in this study, I try to grasp the problem of management, and define a new process that can help for more efficient management by making it an object producing and management module of enterprise 'K' that is one of domestic small and medium enterprise and that is operating ERP at present. As well, through the analysis of affair related producing, we are aiming to prepare for establishment of target, its range, and making the standard of result evaluation.

디자인 프로세스 매니지먼트에 관한 연구 (A Study in the Design Process management)

  • 오늘날 디자인 프로세스는 인간이 만든 물건에 변화를 주기 위한 시각적 영역뿐만 아니라 마케팅의 영역까지도 포함하고 있는 광범위한 과정을 말한다. 디자인 프로세스의 요소들은 제품이나 회사의 여건에 따라 다르지만 프로세스의 기본적인 기능은 같다. 디자인 프로세스는 기업과 제품특성에 따라 여러 가지 방법으로 나누어 활용하고 있다. 본 연구는 가전제품을 중심으로 한 기본적 개념에 바탕을 두고 있으면서 실무에서도 효과적으로 활용할 수 있도록 4단계로 구성된 디자인 프로세스를 제안하였다. 첫째로 기획단계(Planning Phase), 두 번째로 기획단계에서 추출된 아이디어를 형상화시키는 아이디어 단계(Idea Development Phase 단계), 세 번째로 아이디어단계에서 결정된 내용을 평면에서 구체적이고 사실적으로 나타내는 표현 및 결정단계(Presentation & Decision Phase), 마지막으로 디자인된 내용을 양산시까지 제안된 디자인대로 되는지를 관리하고 평가 피드 백 하는 관리단계(Check & Control Phase)의 4단계로 이루어진다. 디자인 프로세스 매니지먼트의 전개 방버법으로는 첫째로 디자인 부문을 이념주도형으로 운영하여 기업이념에 맞는 디자인 부문을 이념주도형으로 운영하여 기업이념에 맞는 디자인 정책, 디자인 전략, 상품전략, 기업이미지와 상품의 통일성과 독창성이 표현되도록 하여야 한다. 두 번째로는 전략을 수립하고 기획에서 판매까지의 상품개발 전 과정에 프로덕트관리자(Product director)가 지휘, 통솔하여 디자인 구체화 과정까지 상품체계만이 아닌 기업활동 전반에 관여하여야 한다. 세 번째로 디자이너가 아이디어를 프리젠테이션 할 경우 그림과 모델뿐만 아닌 경영자에게 아이디어의 이해가 쉽도록 새로운 케뮤니케이션을 개발하여야 한다. 마지막으로 디자인 프로세스를 체계적이고 효율성을 높이기 위하여 매니지먼트의 다양한 기술을 도입시켜 디자인 프로세스의 체계를 세워야 한다.

마케팅 전략실행을 통한 우정서비스 경쟁력 강화방안 (A Marketing Strategy Implementation for Korea Postal Service)

  • Korea Postal Service(KPS) nowadays lies in competitive environment with alternative business such as door-to-door delivery service. Customers began to complain about postal service quality and ask the government to reform a public firm through management innovation. But, Korea Postal Service has not met the break-even point between it's revenue and expenditure because the service is under the government system and cannot independently make major decisions on products, pricing, services, personnel management, financial policies and etc. The objective of this study is to provide marketing planners and practitioners with some guidelines when they establish marketing strategies and to help marketers on theories and practical instructions about postal service marketing when they interact with customers. I. A field survey on both customer satisfaction and internal staff satisfaction was conducted to get some ideas for the marketing strategy planning. II. Practical guidelines and instructions were made for marketers to communicate with customers in various areas such as pricing, product, service demand, marketing channel, promotion, and etc. III. Some suggestions on marketing policies for planners and mangers in the marketing strategy were described including personnel resource as well as physical resource. IV. Special issues on small packet market and direct mail market were discussed and some alternative solutions were proposed. V. Database marketing strategy was emphasized to get new business opportunities such as direct mail, and to provide differential services to customers as much as their contribution into the profitability for KPS. VI. Cyber Post Office should be constructed on Internet to provide new services which are combined with physical material flow and information technologies.

제조판매원과 제조원의 명성 및 제품유형이 지각된 품질에 미치는 영향: 화장품을 중심으로 (The effects of manufacturing and sales companies and manufacturing companies' reputation and product types on the perceived product quality: focusing on cosmetic products)

  • 본 연구는 화장품 제조판매원과 화장품 전문 제조원의 명성 및 제품유형이 지각된 품질에 미치는 영향에 대해 검증해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2×2×2 요인설계를 이용하여 8개 집단을 대상으로 실험을 진행했다. 연구결과 첫째, 제조판매원의 명성과 제조원의 명성은 고 명성이 저 명성에 비해 지각된 품질을 보다 높게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 제조판매원과 제조원의 명성은 지각된 품질에 상호작용 효과를 나타내는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 제조판매원과 제품유형은 지각된 품질에 상호작용 효과를 나타내는 것으로 확인되었다. 마지막으로 제조원과 제품유형은 지각된 품질에 상호작용 효과를 나타내는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 화장품 업계에 있어 제조판매원의 명성 뿐 아니라 제조원의 명성 또한 매우 중요하다는 사실을 실증적으로 보여줌으로써 제조판매원과 제조원의 제품생산 및 마케팅 전략방안 모색에 매우 유용한 정보를 제공해 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

서비스 산업 혁신을 위한 서비스 디자인 경쟁력 강화 전략 (Developing Strategy of Service Design Competitiveness for Service Industry Innovation)

  • Recently world industry trends is moved from manufacturing to service. As a result product-market ideology is central to the service enabler of the service. And value creation and delivery of consumer-oriented services as the core design industry is gaining popularity abroad. But the Service design to dispose of the whole process from planning to be done systematically is not yet established a clear concept. This study suggested problems of the current service design industry, service plans and strategies for the development of service design through open questionnaire and FGI(Focus Group Interview) for using service model methodology which is presented by HyeogIn Kwon et al.(2010). And we also consider 27 kinds of developing challenges for service design industry innovation by 6 sectors, such as workforce, R&D, legal framework, lay the foundation, knowledge service and collaborative service.
