기업통합을 위한 설계프로세스 기반의 제품정보모델 (A Product Information Model based on Design Process for Enterprise Integration)

  • Enterprise integration, which aims to enhance an enterprise's competitive edge, requires a highly structured product information model as a common product database. Previous research works on this issue have been narrowly focused on the transformation of product information between various operation areas, leading to a situation where enterprise integration lacks a formal method of information modeling. In this paper, research works and issues surrounding product information modeling for enterprise integration are reviewed, and the requirements for a product information model are identified. A product information model called L3DPIM (Layered Three Dimentional Product Information Model) is proposed, which is based on a feature-based design process. This model is expected to serve as a modeling paradigm for enterprise integration.

ON STEIN TRANSFORMATION IN SEMIDEFINITE LINEAR COMPLEMENTARITY PROBLEMS

  • In the setting of semidenite linear complementarity problems on $S^n$, we focus on the Stein Transformation $S_A(X)\;:=X-AXA^T$, and show that $S_A$ is (strictly) monotone if and only if ${\nu}_r(UAU^T{\circ}\;UAU^T)$(<)${\leq}1$, for all orthogonal matrices U where ${\circ}$ is the Hadamard product and ${\nu}_r$ is the real numerical radius. In particular, we show that if ${\rho}(A)$ < 1 and ${\nu}_r(UAU^T{\circ}\;UAU^T){\leq}1$, then SDLCP($S_A$, Q) has a unique solution for all $Q{\in}S^n$. In an attempt to characterize the GUS-property of a nonmonotone $S_A$, we give an instance of a nonnormal $2{\times}2$ matrix A such that SDLCP($S_A$, Q) has a unique solution for Q either a diagonal or a symmetric positive or negative semidenite matrix. We show that this particular $S_A$ has the $P^{\prime}_2$-property.

중개유통기업의 e-트랜스포메이션: 분석적 접근 (Analytic Approach to e-Transformation of Intermediary)

  • e-비즈니스 환경에서 중개 유통기업은 공급자의 고객과의 직거래에 대한 위협에 대응하여 지속적인 변화를 추구하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹 기반 정보기술 활용을 통한 산업재 유통기업의 e-트랜스포메이션 전략을 분석적 관점에서 다루었다. 거래 비용 이론에 의하면 인터넷의 급격한 보급은 중개자와 공급자의 통합 및 아웃소싱에 의한 분할 등 상반되는 두 가지 방향을 동시에 촉진한다고 연구된 바 본 연구에서는 이러한 전략적 변화 방향에 대한 프레임웍을 중개유통 기업의 공급사슬 가치기여 이론과의 결합을 통하여 제시하였다. 공급사슬 가치기여 관점에서는 정보기술과 관련된 공급사슬 특성, 유통채널 조직간의 역학관계, 인터넷 유통 채널 특성 등의 상황적 변수가 포함되었다. 본 논문에서 제시된 프레임웍은 이와 같은 변수들의 복합적인 연계관계가 고려된 상황적 대안을 제시하고 있으며 제안된 명제들의 효과성은 산업재 유통기업의 종단적 심층 사례 연구를 통하여 분석되었다.

패션 브랜드의 디지털 트랜스포메이션 전략에 관한 연구 - 버버리 사례를 중심으로 - (A study on the digital transformation strategy of a fashion brand - Focused on the Burberry case -)

  • Today, the fashion business environment of the 4.0 generation is changing based on fashion technology combined with advanced digital technologies such as AI (Artificial Intelligence), big data and IoT (Internet of Things). "Digital Transformation" means a fundamental change and innovation in a digital paradigm including corporate strategy, organization, communication, and business model, based on the utilization of digital technology. Thus, this study examines digital transformation strategies through the fashion brand Burberry. The study contents are as follows. First, it examines the theoretical concept of digital transformation and its utilization status. Second, it analyzes the characteristics of Burberry's digital transformation based on its strategies. For the research methodology, a literature review was performed on books and papers, aligning with case studies through websites, social media, and news articles. The result showed that first, Burberry has reset their main target to Millennials who actively use mobile and social media, and continues to communicate with them by utilizing digital strategy in the entire management. Second, Burberry is quickly delivering consistent brand identity to consumers by internally creating and providing social media-friendly content. Third, they have started real-time product sales and services by using IT to enhance access to brands and to lead consumers towards more active participation. In this study, Burberry's case shows that digital transformation can contribute to increased brand value and sales, keeping up with the changes in the digital paradigm. Therefore, the study suggests that digital transformation will serve as an important business strategy for fashion brands in the future.

Microbial Transformation of Two Prenylated Naringenins

  • Microbial transformation of $({\pm})$-6-(1,1-dimethylallyl)naringenin (6-DMAN, 1) and $({\pm})$-5-(O-prenyl) naringenin-4',7-diacetate (5-O-PN, 2) was performed by using fungi. Scale-up fermentation studies with Mucor hiemalis, Cunninghamella elegans var. elegans, and Penicillium chrysogenum led to the isolation of five microbial metabolites. Chemical structures of the metabolites were determined by spectral analyses as $({\pm})$-8-prenylnaringenin (3), (2S)-5,4'-dihydroxy-7,8-[(R)-2-(1-hydroxy-1-methylethyl)-2,3-dihydrofurano]flavanone (4), $({\pm})$-5-(O-prenyl)naringenin-4'-acetate (5), $({\pm})$-naringenin-4'-acetate (6), and $({\pm})$-naringenin (7), of which 5 was identified as a new compound.

  • Microbial transformation of isoxanthohumol (1), a prenylated flavanone from hops, has resulted in the production of a pair of glucosylated derivatives. The structures of these compounds were elucidated to be (2S)-5-methoxy-8-prenylnaringenin 7-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranoside (2) and (2R)-5-methoxy-8-prenylnaringenin 7-O-${\beta}$-Dglucopyranoside (3) based on the spectroscopic analyses.

Different estimation methods for the unit inverse exponentiated weibull distribution

  • Unit distributions are frequently used in probability theory and statistics to depict meaningful variables having values between zero and one. Using convenient transformation, the unit inverse exponentiated weibull (UIEW) distribution, which is equally useful for modelling data on the unit interval, is proposed in this study. Quantile function, moments, incomplete moments, uncertainty measures, stochastic ordering, and stress-strength reliability are among the statistical properties provided for this distribution. To estimate the parameters associated to the recommended distribution, well-known estimation techniques including maximum likelihood, maximum product of spacings, least squares, weighted least squares, Cramer von Mises, Anderson-Darling, and Bayesian are utilised. Using simulated data, we compare how well the various estimators perform. According to the simulated outputs, the maximum product of spacing estimates has lower values of accuracy measures than alternative estimates in majority of situations. For two real datasets, the proposed model outperforms the beta, Kumaraswamy, unit Gompartz, unit Lomax and complementary unit weibull distributions based on various comparative indicators.

RAS inhibitor를 이용한 항암제의 개발에 관하여

  • ras는 활성화 형태인 GTP bound form과 비활성화 형태인 GDP bound form의 두 형태로 존재하며 두 형태를 매개하는 regulatory protein들에 의해 그 activity가 조절된다. 또한 ras는 GTP와 GDP에 강한 친화성이 있으며 세포내에는 GTP보다 GDP가 더 많이 있어서 평소에는 ras가 GDP와 결합하고 있다가 활성화될때만 GTP와 결합하는 것으로 추정된다. GDP bound ras는 guanine nucloetide exchange protein(GEP)에 의해 활성화된 GTP bound form으로 전환되며 ras의 기능이 발휘된 후에는 GTPase activating protein(GAP)에 의해 비활성화된다. Yeast의 경우 IRA1과 2의 product가 GAP의 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있고 CDC25 gene의 product가 GEP의 기능을 담당하는 것으로 알려져 있다. NF1 gene은 Von Recklinghausen Neurofibromatosis Type I 질병을 가진 환자에게서 발견되었는데 부분적으로 sequencing한 결과에 따르면 yeast의 IRA1/2, mammalian GAP gene product와 protein homology가 높은 것으로 나타났다. Yeast의 경우 IRA1/2 gene의 손실이나 mammalian ras gene의 transformation으로 인한 heat shock sensitivity가 NF1 gene(2,3) 혹은 GAP(4)의 expression으로 suppression된 것으로 보아 NF1이 GAP protein으로서 ras를 불활성화 시킨다는 것이 판명되었다. 결론적으로 ras의 활성은 GTP bound 혹은 GDP bound의 양쪽형태를 이동하면서 조절되는데 이 기능은 GAP과 GEP 또는 그의 유사 protein들에 의해 수행되며 이러한 regulatory protein들은 growth factor, cytokine 그리고 protein kinase 같은 signal에 의해 활성화된다고 생각된다. 본 총설에서는 ras protein의 여러가지 성질보다는 ras의 modification과 관련하여 항암제로 사용할 수 있는 ras에 specific한 약품개발의 가능성과 현재 알려진 ras의 inhibitor를 중심으로 논하고자 한다.

제초제 저항성 유전자에 의한 인삼의 형질전환 (Genetic Transformation of Panax ginseng with Herbicide Resistant Gene)

  • 인삼의 자엽과 callus에 Biolistic system을 이용한 비선택성 제초제인 bialaphos에 대한 내성을 갖게 하는 PAT 유전자의 형질전환효율 향상 및 형질전환체의 유전분석에 관한 실험을 수행하였다. 자엽의 경우에는 형질전환율이 약했지만 callus의 경우에는 target distance 9 cm, rupture disk-macro-carrier gap distance를 1/3"로 했을 때 가장 양호한 형질전환 결과를 보였다. 형질전환된 인삼식물체에서 PAT 및 NPT 유전자의 존재 여부를 확인하기 위해서 PCR을 수행한 결과 정상 식물체서는 전혀 PCR product가 형성되지 않은 반면 형질전환체 모두에서 PAT (약 300 bp)와 NPT (약 800 bp) 유전자의 band를 확인하여 각각의 유전자가 삽입되어 PAT 및 NPT IIgene이 도입된 형질전환체임을 확인할 수 있었다. 있었다.

Immunofluorescence Localization of Schizosaccharomjyces pombe $cdc103^{+}$ Gene Product

  • $cdc103^+$ gene in Schizosaccharomyces pombe which is similar to the CDC3 gene in Saccharomyces cerevisiae was cloned and sequenced. Comparison of the predicted amino acid sequences of $cdc103^+$ and CDC3 revealed that they share significant similarity (43% identity and 56% identity or similarity) to each other. The gene product of CDC3 in S. cerevisiae is known to be a highly ordered ring of filaments that lies just inside the cytoplasmic membrane in the region of the mother-bud neck. In order to characterize the gene product of $cdc103^+$ in Schizosaccharomyces pombe, fusion proteins were used to generate the polyclonal antibodies specific for the gene product (cdc103p). In immunofluorescence experiments, these antibodies decorate the region of the septum formation as a double ring structure late in the cell division cycle.
