신제품 개발 프로세스 변환의 성공 요인에 관한 사례연구 : IT제품에서 Automotive 제품으로 (Case Study on the Success Factors of NPD Process Transformation : From IT to Automotive Product Development Process)

  • This paper investigates changing processes of new product development (NPD) systems. In order to continuously develop first-class products, world wide super-class products and hit products, R&D (Research & Development) must be competitive. Firms must achieve competitiveness in terms of quality and cost by launching new products. Most films focus on improving effectiveness and efficiency of NPD process. However, sometimes, they face to the critical challenge of transforming NPD processes entirely reflecting dramatic change of their core products. Transforming of NPD process is difficult in that it involves technological and organizational changes in marketing, R&D, Engineering and manufacturing systems. The purpose of this paper is to shed light on processes and factors affecting successful transformation of new product development systems. We present a case study on the changing processes of S company's NPD process. S company has changed new product development systems successfully from a major IT equipment supplier to an automotive supplier. Empirical results show successful changes of 10 core NPD processes from understanding the market and customers process to after sales process. In case of transformation of NPD, adaption of attribute of business is crucial for success factors in the process innovation. This paper shows the bridging the gap between IT and automotive industrial dynamics and growth through adaption of two processes in the NPD.

An Identity Involving Product of Generalized Hypergeometric Series 2F2

  • A number of identities associated with the product of generalized hypergeometric series have been investigated. In this paper, we aim to establish an identity involving the product of the generalized hypergeometric series $_2F_2$. We do this using the generalized Kummer-type II transformation due to Rathie and Pogany and another identity due to Bailey. The result presented here, being general, can be reduced to a number of relatively simple identities involving the product of generalized hypergeometric series, some of which are observed to correspond to known ones.

생산물공간 분석에 의한 대구경북 수출산업의 구조전환에 대한 연구 (Structural Transformation of Exports in A Product Space Model: The Case of Daegu-Gyeongbuk Province, Korea)

  • 본 연구는 네트워크 분석기법에 기반을 둔 생산물공간모형(product space model)의 분석도구들을 이용해 대구경북지역 산업을 분석한다. 분석대상기간을 2000~2001년과 2013~2015년의 두 기간으로 설정하고, 지역산업에 대한 현시비교우위의 동태적 변동을 추적해 HS 4단위의 421개 품목을 대상으로 전통(즉, 경쟁력 유지)품목, 신흥품목, 사양품목, 한계품목의 네 그룹으로 구분한 후 생산물공간 구조를 살펴보고 있다. 이를 통해 2000~2001년 이후 최근에 이르는 동안 지역산업은 상당한 구조전환을 겪었으며, 그 구조전환의 범위와 폭이 넓었다는 점을 확인할 수 있었다. 아울러 그러한 구조전환이 산업별 품목별로 어떻게 다르게 나타나는지를 확인할 수 있었는데 이는 정책대응이 필요한 대상영역에 대한 유용한 정보로 활용될 수 있어 보인다.

개인의 흡수 역량이 프로세스 및 제품 혁신에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (The Effect of Individual's on Absorptive Capacity on Process and Product Innovation)

  • Absorptive capacity has been increasingly thought of as a potential source of innovation. From the knowledge management perspective, absorptive capacity is composed of a set of activities dealing with acquisition, assimilation, transformation, and exploitation of external and internal knowledge. This study investigates what relationship the absorptive capacity of individuals who have technical knowledge in the organization has with process innovation and product innovation. Mobile based survey was conducted from the employees working for the largest electronics manufacturer in Korea. The analyzed data was based on 156 responses from 199 participants. The analysis result shows that four phases of absorptive capacity such as acquisition, assimilation, transformation and exploitation have different effects on process innovation and product innovation, respectively. Specifically, transformation is found to be most critical in leading to innovation.

  • For given ${\alpha},{\omega}\;{\in}\;{\mathbb{R}}$ and ${\beta}$ > 1, let $T_{{\beta},{\alpha},{\omega}}$ be the skew-product transformation on the torus, [0, 1) ${\times}$ [0, 1) defined by (x, y) ${\longmapsto}\;({\beta}x,y+{\alpha}x+{\omega})$ (mod 1). In this paper, we give a criterion of ergodicity and weakly mixing for the transformation $T_{{\beta},{\alpha},{\omega}}$ when the natural extension of the given ${\beta}$-transformation can be viewed as a generalized baker's transformation, i.e., they flatten and stretch and then cut and stack a two-dimensional domain. This is a generalization of theorems in [10].

  • In the present investigation sufficient conditions are found for certain subclass of normalized analytic functions defined by Hadamard product. Differential sandwich theorems are also obtained. As a special case of this we obtain results involving Ruscheweyh derivative, S$\u{a}$l$\u{a}$gean derivative, Carlson-shaffer operator, Dziok-Srivatsava linear operator, Multiplier transformation.

  • Influential trend that widely reflected the software engineering industry is service oriented architecture. Vendors are migrating towards cloud environment to benefit their organization. Companies usually offer products and services with a goal to solve problems at customer end. Because customers are more interested in solution of their problem rather than focusing on products or services. In software industry the approach in which customers' problems are solved by providing services is known as software as a service. However, software development life cycle encounters enormous changes when migrating software from product model to service model. Enough research has been done on the overall development process but a limited work has been done on the factors that influence requirements elicitation process. This paper focuses on those changes that influence requirement elicitation process and proposes a systematic methodology for transformation of software from product to service model in a successful manner. The paper then elaborates the benefits that inherently come along with elicitation process in cloud environment. The paper also describes the problems during transformation. The paper concludes that requirement engineering process turn out to be more profitable after transformation of traditional software from product to service model.

  • 지능형제품은 모체제품이라고 불리는 기존 제품에 상호작용성이 더해진 제품으로, 제품 속성에 따라 유희, 즐거움 등의 쾌락적 속성을 모체제품에 추가한 쾌락적 지능형제품과 모체제품의 기능 수행에서 요구되는 사용 행위를 자동화함으로써 실용적 속성을 부여하는 실용적 지능형제품으로 구분될 수 있다. 실용적 지능형제품의 경우, 모체제품을 사용하는 과정에서 지능화를 통해 지원되어야 하는 사용행위를 발굴하여, 이를 자동화하면 되는 반면, 쾌락적 지능형제품은 쾌락적 속성을 부여할 수 있는 다양한 감성적 가치를 발굴하여 사용자 경험을 디자인할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 쾌락적 지능형 제품의 인터랙션디자인에 초점을 두어, 쾌락적 지능형제품의 효과적인 입력 제어 방식에 대해 탐구하였다. 입력 제어 방식은 모체제품의 기존 사용자 행위가 적용된 모방 입력 방식과 사용자 행위를 변형하여 적용한 응용 입력 방식으로 구분된다. 입력 제어 방식에 따른 사용자 인식을 알아보기 위해 실험을 실시하였고 소비자 수용도를 평가하였다. 그 결과, 응용 입력 방식이 모방 입력 방식에 비해 신규성과 흥미도에서 더 높은 평가를 받았다. 또한, 응용 입력 방식이 모방 입력 방식에 비해 높은 제품선호도를 나타냈다.

Solvent effect on enzymatic steroid transformation

  • As part of our endeavor to increase the productivity of steroid by enzymatic transformation of corticosteroids, attempts have been made to increase the solubility of steroids by using some organic solvents. When the solubility of steroids is the rate limiting factor in the steroid transformation, it was found that the use of solvents significantly improved the yield. Hydrocorisone as a substrate and 3-ketosteroid .DELTA.$^{1}$ dehydrogense as an immobilized whole cell enzyme were employed as the model system for this study. It was found that the yield of product, prodnisolone, goes through a maximum with an increase in the solvent concentration. At a high solvent concentration, the solvent showed a toxic effect and it causes a decrease in the product yield by the second order inhibition mechanism. Among the solvents evaluated, methanol and ethanol were found to be the best. These alcohols are not only good solvents but also showed minimal toxic effect. Based on the experimental results, it was concluded that the productivity of steroid can be increased by usign well selcted solvents systems for the enzymatic transformation of steroids.

  • 디지털 세계가 도래하면서 산업차원에서 디지털 트랜스포메이션이 가장 활발하게 이루어지고 있는 영역은 음악, 영화, 드라마와 같은 창작산업이다. 이들 창작물이 0과 1로 이루어진 디지털 포맷으로 전환되면서 비즈니스 모델이 변화하고 그 결과 시장에서 경쟁의 룰이 바뀌었다. 애플과 스포티파이, 넷플릭스는 창작산업에서 디지털 트랜스포메이션을 통해 시장 리더가 된 기업들이다. 본 연구는 창작 산업의 사례연구를 통해 디지털 기술을 활용한 시장재편에 필요한 중요한 요소를 파악하는 것이다. 사례 연구 결과, 디지털 기술을 활용해 시장을 재편한 기업들의 전략적 특성은 비전, 플랫폼, 그리고 개방적 혁신이라는 세 가지 요소임을 발견하였다. 반면 이러한 전략을 구사하지 못해 디지털 혁신의 기회를 놓친 기업들은 디지털 다위니즘의 희생양으로 몰락의 길을 걸었다. 본 논문은 4차산업혁명 시대의 디지털 트랜스포메이션은 세 가지 전략요소를 최대한 활용함으로써 플랫폼을 구축하고, 가급적 많은 파트너들이 플랫폼에 동참할 수 있도록 개방적인 혁신으로 초기에 크리티컬 매스를 확보하는 것이 무엇보다도 중요하다는 시사점을 제시하고 있다.
