  • M. $Bre\v{s}ar$ and J. Vukman obtained some results concerning orthogonal derivations in semiprime rings which are related to the result that is well-known to a theorem of Posner for the product of two derivations in prime rings. In this paper, we present orthogonal generalized derivations in semiprime near-rings.

  • In near-ring theory several different types of primitivity exist. These all imply several different types of primeness. In case of near-rings with DCCN most of the types of primeness are known to imply primitivity of a certain kind. We are able to show that also so called 1-prime near-rings imply 1-primitivity. This enables us to classify maximal ideals in near-rings with chain condition with the concept of 1-primeness which leads to further results in the structure theory of near-rings.

  • In this paper we introduce the notion of P-strongly regular near-ring. We have shown that a zero-symmetric near-ring N is P-strongly regular if and only if N is P-regular and P is a completely semiprime ideal. We have also shown that in a P-strongly regular near-ring N, the following holds: (i) $Na$ + P is an ideal of N for any $a{\in}N$. (ii) Every P-prime ideal of N containing P is maximal. (iii) Every ideal I of N fulfills I + P = $I^2$ + P.

  • We consider 𝒩 to be a 3-prime field and 𝒫 to be a prime ideal of 𝒩. In this paper, we study the commutativity of the quotient near-ring 𝒩/𝒫 with left multipliers and derivations satisfying certain identities on 𝒫, generalizing some well-known results in the literature. Furthermore, an example is given to illustrate the necessity of our hypotheses.

  • The purpose of the present paper is to obtain commutativity of prime Γ-near-ring N with generalized derivations F and G with associated derivations d and h respectively satisfying one of the following conditions:(i) G([x, y]α = ±f(y)α(xoy)βγg(y), (ii) F(x)βG(y) = G(y)βF(x), for all x, y ∈ N, β ∈ Γ (iii) F(u)βG(v) = G(v)βF(u), for all u ∈ U, v ∈ V, β ∈ Γ,(iv) if 0 ≠ F(a) ∈ Z(N) for some a ∈ V such that F(x)αG(y) = G(y)αF(x) for all x ∈ V and y ∈ U, α ∈ Γ.

  • In 1940, B. H. Neumann, working with a system more general than a near-field, proved that the additive group of such a system (and of a near-field) is commutative. The algebraic structure he used is known as a Neumann system (N-system). Here, the prime N-systems are classified and for each possible characteristic, examples of N-systems which are neither near-fields nor rings are given. It is also shown that a necessary condition for the set of all odd polynomials over GF(p) to be an N-system is that p is a Fermat prime.

  • In this paper, we introduce the notion of permuting $n$-derivations in near-ring N and investigate commutativity of addition and multiplication of N. Further, under certain constrants on a $n!$-torsion free prime near-ring N, it is shown that a permuting $n$-additive mapping D on N is zero if the trace $d$ of D is zero. Finally, some more related results are also obtained.

  • In this paper, we give another proof of Theorem 2.13 of [4] without using the sup property. For the homomorphic image $f(\mu)$ and preimage $f^{-1}(\nu)$ of fuzzy left (resp. right) ideals $\mu$ and $\nu$ respectively, we establish the chains of level left (resp. right) ideals of $f(\mu)$ and $f^{-1}(\nu)$, respectively. Moreover, we prove that a necessary condition for a fuzzy ideal $\mu$ of a near-ring $R$ to be prime is that $\mu$ is two-valued.
