Remarkable progress has recently been made in embryo transfer technology, resulting in the birth of IVF and nuclear transfer offsprings in swine. However, further progress of the technology to (I) make a safe, effective and economic estrual-cycle synchronization compound, (2) regulate each step of sperm capacitation (3) induce monospermic fertilization, (4) in vitro grow and mature oocytes, (5) fertilize the oocytes efficently, (6) culture the oocytes to the blastocyst stage in defined media, (7) produce multiply copies of embryos with superior genetic merit, (8) preselect the sex of these superior offsprings, and (9) preserve embryos by freezing and storage in liquid nitrogen is required before this promising technology is applied routinely to swine for practical use.

보간 기법은 영상의 해상도를 변경하는 것이다. 멀티미디어 기기의 해상도가 다양하기 때문에 원 영상은 각각에 맞는 해상도로 변경되어야 한다. 해상도 변경은 존재하지 않는 값을 임의로 만들어 채우는 것이기 때문에 왜곡이 발생한다. 대부분의 scaler에서는 수평과 수직 방향으로 해상도 변경을 하는데, 이 때문에 edge 영역에서는 왜곡이 더 많이 발생하며 쉽게 눈에 띈다. 본 논문에서는 edge 방향에서 발생하는 왜곡을 극복하기 위해 영상의 edge 정보와 Cubic Convolution을 이용해 임의의 배율로 해상도를 변경하는 방법을 제안한다.

We classify linear maps which preserve idempotents on $n{\times}n$ matrices over some classes of semirings. Our results include many known semirings like the semiring of all nonnegative integers, the semiring of all nonnegative reals, any unital commutative ring, which is zero divisor free and of characteristic not two (not necessarily a principal ideal domain), and the ring of integers modulo m, where m is a product of distinct odd primes.

This research performed to compare and analyze the pattern of land-utilization of the city-planning districts in the area of Seo-myeon and Sinbuk-up, Chuncheon from 1975 to 1995. This research was peformed to suggest the efficient scheme to utilize the land and to preserve the high-quality land through analyzing the pattern of utilizing land, the natural conditions of location of land, and the present conditions of consolidation of the agricultural basis with the method, GIS.

The aim of this paper is to obtain several results in approximation by Jackson-type generalizations of complex Picard, Poisson-Cauchy and Gauss-Weierstrass singular integrals in terms of higher order moduli of smoothness. In addition, these generalized integrals preserve some sufficient conditions for starlikeness and univalence of analytic functions. Also approximation results for vector-valued functions defined on the unit disk are given.

The maximal column rank of an m by n matrix A over max algebra is the maximal number of the columns of A which are linearly independent. We compare the maximal column rank with rank of matrices over max algebra. We also characterize the linear operators which preserve the maximal column rank of matrices over max algebra.

For a Boolean rank-l matrix $A\;=\;ab^{t}$, we define the perimeter of A as the number of nonzero entries in both a and b. We characterize the Boolean linear operators that preserve rank and perimeter of Boolean rank-l matrices.

An m${\times}$n Boolean matrix A is called regular if there exists an n${\times}$m Boolean matrix X such that AXA = A. We have characterizations of Boolean regular matrices. We also determine the linear operators that strongly preserve Boolean regular matrices.

We consider the sets of matrix ordered pairs which satisfy extremal properties with respect to Boolean rank inequalities of matrices over nonbinary Boolean algebra. We characterize linear operators that preserve these sets of matrix ordered pairs as the form of $T(X)=PXP^T$ with some permutation matrix P.
