초등학교 예비 교사의 환경개념 이해도와 환경감수성과의 관계 (Correlation between environmental concept understanding degree and Environmental Sensitivity of Pre-service Elementary School Teacher)

  • The aim of this research is clarify the relationship between concept understanding degree about the environment and environmental sensitivity and heighten understanding of environmental education target to pre-service elementary teacher. The subjects of this study are science education intensive course 65 students of B educational university. Concept understanding degree about the environment was separately investigated by 'the definition of environmental education', 'Write The positive concept of the natural environment education and briefly describe.''The negative concept of the natural environment education and briefly describe'. Next clarify the relationship between concept understanding degree about the environment and environmental sensitivity target to pre-service elementary teacher. Based on these results, propose an alternative to cultivate pre-service elementary teacher's knowledge about environmental education. Degree of understanding of the concept environmental education research results are as follows. First, Cognition degree about definition of environmental education of pre-service elementary teacher is correctly recognized generally. Second, They do not think deeply about natural environment when it comes to the positive concept of the natural environment of pre-service elementary teacher. Third, They have only a little interest in natural environment when it comes to the negative concept of the natural environment of pre-service elementary teacher. Correlation research results of degree of understanding of the concept of environmental and environmental sensitivity are as follows. High understanding degree of environmental education is high environmental sensitivity. Heighten environmental sensitivity of pre-service elementary teacher will be sustainable environmental education so education is necessary for environmental Sensitivity training.

예비 환경교사의 교수 내용 지식(PCK)에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Pedagogical Content Knowledge In Pre-Service Environment Teacher)

  • In this study, we discuss pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) of pre-service environment teachers since PCK is one of the most important professional competencies for teachers. In Republic of Korea, environmental education is taught as an independent subject in middle and high schools. Thus, pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) of environment teachers plays an important role for quality EE at schools. The purpose of this study is to find out the PCK(Pedagogical Content Knowledge) of pre-service environment teachers. Researchers collected and analyzed data from four environmental education department. Study method used a questionnaire for eighty-two pre-service environment teachers. The study results are as follows. Seven part of PCK(Knowledge of Instructional Strategies, Knowledge of Representation, Knowledge of Subject Matter, Knowledge of Evaluation, Knowledge of Students, Knowledge of Curriculum, Knowledge of Environmental Context) exists the significant difference in pre-service environment teachers. The highest part is the Knowledge of Environmental Context and the lowest part is the Knowledge of Evaluation in pre-service teachers. So the curriculum of environmental education department will be changing that emphasize the Knowledge of Evaluation and the Knowledge of Students.

초등학교 예비교사의 환경친화적 태도와 환경지식 분석 (Analysis of Environmental Friendly Attitude and Environmental Knowledge on Pre-service Elementary Teacher)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out eco-friendly attitude and level of knowledge about environment of pre-service elementary teachers and find relationship between these. In this study, we investigate and analyse with surveys about eco-friendly attitudes and environmental knowledge questionnaire targeting the 2nd semester of 2013 32 people of fast stream class 2nd grade. Also, we analyzed correlation between environmental knowledge and the test results of eco-friendly attitudes. Results for the analysis are as follows. First, pre-service elementary teachers' average of eco-friendly attitudes test result is 'cognitive area(60.22)> definitional area(53.69)> behavioral area(52.72)'. These results are re-service elementary teachers are knowledgeable about the environment, but they are passive at the execution act about environment. Second, the average of pre-service elementary teachers' environmental knowledge result is the highest to the protect the environment, for the average(26.25). It is interpreted that they acquired the most the knowledge related to the conservation of the environment. Third, It is no significant correlation between pre-service elementary teachers' eco-friendly attitudes and environmental knowledge. It means that although they acquired a lot of knowledge related to the environment, it is not affected to environmental friendly attitude putting ideas into action about environment.

미래 과학교육에 대한 예비 초등 교사들의 인식 (The Perspectives of Pre-service Elementary Teachers on Science Education of Future)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the perspectives of pre-service elementary teachers on science education of future by using Draw-A-Science-Teacher-Test Checklist and open-ended questionnaire. The subjects of this study were 136 pre-service elementary teachers. The results of the research are as follows. The pre-service teachers thought that the physical environment reflecting the latest science and technology for science education will be developed in the future. However, few respondents indicated that student-centered equipment or a free and creative classroom environment would be provided. Second, they predicted that there would be changes in teacher's activities due to the introduction of advanced facilities and equipment, but most of the other teachers' activities were thought to be similar to those of current teachers. Third, the pre-service elementary teachers thought that a variety of new technologies would be used in science education and science teachers would mainly teach high-technology, IT technology, science knowledge, and newly discovered science concepts. In addition, we found that pre-service elementary teachers' images were more 'teacher-centered' than 'student-centered'. These results show that pre-service elementary teachers are expected to utilize the latest science and technology actively in science education in 2030 and that it will lead to changes in the physical environment, teachers' activities, education contents, and teaching and learning methods. In addition, they viewed acquisition of science concept as an important goal of science education in the future and had different points of view from the current science education curriculum and scholars' emphasis on educational research for the future.

예비사서교사의 교육실습에 대한 현상학적 연구 (A Phenomenological Study of the Pre-service Teacher Librarian During Student Teaching Practice)

  • 본 연구에서는 교육실습과정을 체험하면서 느꼈던 개인의 경험을 심층적으로 살펴보고 실습과정 전반과 실습과정을 둘러싼 모든 환경을 총체적으로 이해해보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 가장 최근 교육실습을 경험한 연구 참여자를 선정하여 심층 면담을 진행하였으며 Giorgi의 현상학적 분석방법으로 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 예비사서 교사의 교육실습에 대한 경험 구성요소는 '성장과정을 통한 도서관과 사서교사에 대한 인식의 형성', '진로설계에 대한 구체화와 실행전략', '실습경험을 통한 자기성장의 욕구', '조직문화 이해와 커뮤니케이션 관계 인지', '도서관과 사서교사에 대한 현실 직시'로 요약되었다. 이러한 연구 참여자들의 경험 요소는 시간적 흐름에 의한 맥락에서 이해될 수 있는 현상인 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 예비사서교사를 위한 교육실습에 대한 전반적인 검토와 환경을 개선하는데 활용될 수 있을 것을 기대한다.

예비유아교사의 유아환경교육에 대한 개념도 연구 (A Study on Pre-Service Early Childhood Teachers' Perception on Children's Environmental Education Using Concept Mapping)

  • Objective: This study aimed to reveal pre-service early childhood teachers' perception of children's environmental education using concept mapping and demonstrating its importance. Methods: Based on Kane and Trochim's(2007) procedure, 33 pre-service early childhood teachers conducted brainstorming and statement writing, and then the importance of selected statements were rated by 202 pre-service early childhood teachers. Selected statements were analyzed through multidimensional scaling and hierarchical cluster analysis. Results: Pre-service early childhood teachers perceived children's environmental education as concept mapping with 2-dimensions and eight clusters. The following eight clusters were established (1) daily practice through hands on experience, (2) nature environment, (3) recognizing and coping with environmental issues, (4) environmental preservation practices, (5) environmental sensitivity and consideration, (6) purpose of children's environmental education, (7) necessity for children's environmental education (8) Practice through connection with child's home and community. And then among the eight clusters, the most important was recognized as 'daily practice through hands on experience', and among the statements 'young children learn through the method of playing in nature and experience nature' was considered the most important. Conclusion/Implications: Based on these results, we discuss the importance of children's environmental education of pre-service early childhood teachers and how to support to develop teacher's training program.

The Relationship between Pre-service Teachers' Geometric Reasoning and their van Hiele Levels in a Geometer's Sketchpad Environment

  • In this study, I investigated how pre-service teachers (PSTs) proved three geometric problems by using Geometer's SketchPad (GSP) software. Based on observations in class and results from a test of geometric reasoning, eight PSTs were sorted into four of the five van Hiele levels of geometric reasoning, which were then used to predict the PSTs' levels of reasoning on three tasks involving proofs using GSP. Findings suggested that the ways the PSTs justified their geometric reasoning across the three questions demonstrated their different uses of GSP depending on their van Hiele levels. These findings also led to the insight that the notion of "proof" had somewhat different meanings for students at different van Hiele levels of thought. Implications for the effective integration of technology into pre-service teacher education programs are discussed.

과학교육 강의 과정에 나타난 초등 예비교사의 과학수업 전문성 자기 인식 변화 분석 (An Analysis of Changes in Science Teaching Professionalism Self-Perception of Pre-Service Elementary Teacher as Shown in Science Education Lesson Course)

  • 본 연구에서는 과학교육 강의 과정에 나타난 초등 예비교사의 과학수업 전문성 자기 인식 변화를 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 G교육대학교 2학년에 재학 중인 초등 예비교사 25명이고, 선행연구의 검사 도구를 수정·보완하여 본 연구의 검사 도구로 도출 및 적용하였다. 본 연구 결과, 초등 예비교사의 과학수업 전문성 자기 인식은 향상되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 즉, 하위범주인 전문성 계발 노력, 교육내용, 교육방법, 교육환경 및 분위기, 평가와 과학수업 선호도에서 모두 사전·사후에 유의한 변화가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 관련 내용을 연소 관련 과학수업 지도안, Padlet 작성 내용, 사후 검사 서술형 문항 응답과 함께 세부적으로 살펴본 결과, 양호한 하위범주도 있었고, 일부 보완이 필요한 하위범주도 있었다. 이런 결과를 바탕으로 초등 예비교사의 과학수업 전문성 신장을 위한 방안을 고찰하였다.

  • Recognition of Korean pre-service elementary school teachers concerning the factor for the environmental class was investigated and analyzed by the factorial analysis. Korean pre-service elementary school teachers are aware of the factor of 'participation in environment' as well as the factor of 'environmental knowledge' for the environmental class. Furthermore, they had a very positive attitude about the factor of 'participation in environment'.

예비 과학 교사의 실시간 온라인 수업 설계 사례 분석 (An Analysis of Cases of Real-time Online Class Design by Pre-service Science Teachers)

  • 본 연구는 예비 과학 교사가 설계한 온라인 수업 사례를 분석하여 예비 과학 교사가 온라인 수업을 위해 사용하는 교수전략을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한 학기 동안 온라인 수업 도구 활용 교육을 경험한 12명의 예비 과학 교사가 작성한 실시간 온라인 수업 교수학습과정안을 수집하여 분석하였다. 예비 과학 교사는 기존의 대면 수업 설계 시 필수적으로 고려하였던 선수학습 확인, 학습목표 제시, 학습동기 유발, 교수학습방법, 학습내용 정리, 교사-학생 상호작용, 학생 평가 등의 요소를 모두 고려하였으며, 이들 각 요소에서 온라인 수업의 한계를 극복하고 대면 수업에서 불가능했던 교수전략을 고안하였다. 또한 예비 과학 교사는 온라인 수업 도구를 원활하게 사용할 수 있는 환경 구축과 관련된 온라인 수업 환경 점검 관련 교수전략까지 고려하고 있었다. 다만 학습목표 제시, 학습동기 유발, 학습내용 정리는 대부분의 예비 과학 교사가 시청각 자료 제시 방식의 온라인 수업 도구를 활용한 기존의 대면 수업의 교수전략을 주로 활용하고 있으며, 학습동기 유발과 학습내용 정리에서 학생 중심의 접근의 교수전략을 매우 드물게 구현하였다. 이러한 결과는 한 학기 동안의 온라인 수업 도구 활용 교육은 부족하며, 예비 교사 교육에서 온라인 수업 도구 활용 교육의 지속적인 운영과 확대가 필요함을 시사한다.
