초등예비교사의 생태동아리 멘토 활동이 초등학생의 환경감수성 및 환경친화적 태도에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Ecology Club Mentor Activities of Pre-service Teachers on Elementary Student's Environmental Sensitivity and Environment-friendly Attitudes)

  • This study is to find out that pre-service elementary teacher's the effects of a ecology mentor club activities to the environmental sensitivity and the effects on the environment friendly attitude of elementary school students. This study has been aimed at 25 students of 5th grade in B metropolitan city S elementary school in 2015, B educational University of elementary pre-service teachers 10 people, Elementary School Teachers10 people to apply a ecology club mentor activities to investigate a comment participated in environmental mentor club activities of elementary pre-service teachers and the environmental sensitivity and the effects on the environment friendly attitude of elementary school students. Procedures for this research was the topic for setting ecology club mentor activities of elementary school students, pre-service elementary school teachers receive consultation from field teachers and guide to ecology club mentor activities of elementary school students. Before the ecology club mentor activities, pre-test environmental sensitivity and the environment-friendly attitude of were carried out. After the experiment, post-test of environmental sensitivity and environmental friendly attitude check was carried out. Also, investigate a comment of pre-service elementary teachers participate and guide to ecology club mentor activities of elementary school students. After the experiment results are as follows. First, the ecology club mentor activities of pre-service elementary school teachers are effective to cultivate environmental sensitivity of the elementary school students. Second, the ecology club mentor activities of pre-service elementary school teachers are effective to cultivate eco-friendly attitude of the elementary school students. Third, after ecology club mentor activities of elementary school students, pre-service elementary school teachers now have a very good feeling. Based on these results, suggestions for further research are as follows. First, the variety of ecological club programs target to elementary school students are needed. Second, there is a need for continuing research on the ecology club activities.

외국인 집단에 대한 초등 예비교사의 태도 분석 (Pre-Service Elementary School Teachers' Attitude toward Foreign Groups in the Context of Multicultural Education in Korea)

  • This study presumed that pre-service elementary teachers' stereotypical attitude toward foreign groups is critical factor to be considered in the context of Korean multicultural education. 422 pre-service elementary school teachers rated repeatedly seven ethnic groups on thirteen semantic differential scales which consist of four factors; attractiveness-unattractiveness, superiority-inferiority, rationality-irrationality, and aggressiveness-compliance. A series of repeated measure MANOVAs were used to test variability in pre-service elementary school teachers' stereotypical attitude across foreign groups. They rated Japanese the most positive, but Chinese the most negative, and others more or less positive in overall attitude. Their ratings of each ethnic group also varied across four attitude factors. Japanese and Whites were classified into the most attractive and superior, and moderately rational and aggressive groups. In contrast, Chinese were rated as the most unattractive, inferior, irrational, and moderately aggressive one. Southeast Asians were rated as attractive, compliant, and inferior one. In contrast, Arabians were rated as unattractive, aggressive, and moderately superior one. Finally, North Koreans were rated moderately superior, the most aggressive and irrational one. All these findings were discussed in terms of multicultural education in Korea.

예비 수학교사의 수학교육학 키워드 중심 학습 효과 (The Keyword-based Learning Effect of the discipline of Mathematics Education for Pre-service Mathematics Teachers)

  • 본 연구는 예비 수학교사들에게 요구되는 여러 지식기반 중 하나인 교과교육 지식에 대한 학습방안 모색으로, 수학교육학의 주요 주제 및 연구자를 우선 선정하고 그 관련 내용을 키워드(keyword) 중심으로 제시한 학습 교재를 제작하였다. 그리고 재구성한 교재를 예비 수학교사들에게 투여하였다. 동시에 분절된 각 연구자의 이론을 교육적으로 연결하는 등 수학교과교육학의 개념과 원리를 예비교사들이 이해할 수 있도록 안내한 후, 키워드 중심의 교수 학습 방법이 예비 수학교사들에게 교육적인 효과가 있었는지를 조사하였다.

'지층과 암석'에 대한 초등 예비 교사의 지식 이해와 교수유형 (Pre-service Elementary Teacher' Knowledge understanding and Teaching-learning type about 'stratum and rock')

  • The study aims to figure out pre-service elementary teachers' knowledge understanding on 'stratum and rock' as well as teaching-learning types on the same topic. A total of 65 seniors in an advanced science education course at B University of Education joined the research to fulfill the purpose above. With PCK classification framework, the study examined pre-service teachers' knowledge understanding on 'stratum and rock' while it analyzed how the teachers would teach the given topic to students. The results of the study are presented as follows. First, it was observed that the pre-service elementary teachers have a great understanding on 'stratum and rock' that would be taught via a science textbook for elementary fourth graders. However, regarding terms in 'shale and limestone', they appeared to have a relatively short understanding. Second, PCK elements of the pre-service teachers related to 'stratum and rock' were analyzed and according to the results, the teachers would be interested in teaching model selecting in the teaching-learning strategy field while they would be well aware of how important it is for them to perform an experiment in a teaching process. The teachers also appeared to understand that the teacher question can be mutual complementary during class. However, it turned out that the teachers would have a very much low understanding on learners' prior knowledge as they particularly believe that learning could be significantly affected by the learners' perception level as well as their learning interest and motive. Third, the pre-service elementary teachers were told to design teaching plans on 'stratum and rock' so that the study could find out what learning-teaching methods the teachers would adopt to teach the topic. It was learned that the teachers would proceed with the class basically by giving the learners a descriptive explanation on the topic and also by using pictures and drawings to enhance the learners' understanding during the class.

반응적 교수법이 예비화학교사들의 증발과 끓음에 관한 수업설계 인식에 미친 영향 (The Effect of Responsive Teaching Method on the Recognition of Pre-service Chemistry Teachers about Instructional Design related to Evaporation and Boiling)

  • 이 연구에서는 H대학교 화학교육과 예비교사들을 대상으로 반응적 교수법의 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 토론을 학습자 생각의 본질 존중하기, 학습자 생각에서 학문적 연결 관계 인식하기, 학습자 생각의 본질 확장하기의 3단계로 구성하였다. 학습자 생각의 본질 존중하기 단계에서는 예비교사 20명을 대상으로 실시한 설문지를 분석하여 증발과 끓음에 관련된 예비교사들의 생각의 본질을 파악하였다. 이 중에서 5명의 예비교사를 선발하여 자신의 생각과 학문적 연결 관계를 인식하도록 하였다. 이러한 단계를 통해 예비교사들은 증발과 끓음에 대한 자신들의 생각의 본질을 파악하였으며, 이러한 생각의 본질을 학문적으로 연결하여 사고의 프레임을 수정하거나 확장하는 과정을 경험하였다. 또한 예비교사 스스로 자신의 개념이 역동적인 변화하는 과정을 직접 체험함으로써 반응적 교수법의 효과를 인식하였다.

현직교원과 예비교사간의 정보활용능력 격차 분석 (An Analysis on Gap of the Ability to Utilize Information Between In-service and Pre-service Teachers)

  • 학습자의 정보활용능력은 학습자의 창의성을 신장시키는 자기주도학습을 가능하게 한다. 그러나 중등학교에서 정보소양 및 정보활용교육은 2009년 개정 교육과정이 시행되면 없어 질 것으로 예상된다. 따라서 중등학교에서 학습자의 정보활용능력 계발은 교사의 교과 수업을 통해 이루어질 수밖에 없을 것이며, 교사의 정보활용능력은 매우 중요한 능력으로 간주되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 현직교원과 예비교사의 정보활용능력 실태를 조사하고 이들간 정보활용능력 격차를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 현직교원과 예비교사의 종합 정보활용능력 지수는 각각 74.4점과 50.5점으로 나타났다. 예비교사의 정보활용능력은 현직교원의 약 68% 수준인 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 시 도교육청 및 교원양성기관은 예비교사의 정보활용능력 향상을 위한 방안을 수립 운영하여야 할 것이다.

수학적 게임 변형을 통한 초등 예비교사의 수학적 탐구 경험 (Pre-Service Primary Teachers' Mathematical Investigation Through Transforming Mathematical Games)

  • 본 연구는 초등 예비교사들이 수학적 게임을 변형하는 과정에서 그들이 경험한 수학적 탐구 활동의 사례를 분석하였다. 예비교사들은 기존의 수학적 게임을 변형하거나 새로운 게임을 개발하는 과정에서 수학적 문제 제기, 수학적 추측과 반박, 새로운 수학적 표현 생성 등의 수학적 탐구 활동을 경험할 수 있었다. 또한 이러한 수학적 탐구의 경험은 예비교사들의 수학교육에 대한 관점의 변화를 유도하였다. 본 연구를 통해 수학적 게임 변형 활동이 예비교사에게 수학적 탐구의 기회를 제공하는 수단이 될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

학생의 과학 개념에 대한 초등 예비교사의 교육적 추론 (Pre-service Elementary Teachers' Pedagogical Reasoning about Students' Science Ideas)

  • Ability of understanding students' ideas and thinking is critical to teachers' professional growth. In this study, 'pedagogical reasoning' was conceptualized as teachers' reasoning ability of students' misconceptions and possible causes of misconceptions when they hear and observe students' science discourses. To investigate elementary pre-service teachers' pedagogical reasoning levels, children's science discourses on light reflection and electric circuit were video recorded and 43 pre-service elementary teachers were asked to identify children's misconceptions and possible causes of misconceptions after watching the video clips. In conclusion, pedagogical reasoning levels of pre-service elementary teachers were not high enough, showing significant difference in light reflection and electric circuit. Possible explanations of this difference and educational implications were discussed.

스마트 지원 수업 설계에서 초등 예비교사들이 보이는 스마트 도구에 대한 인식과 활용의 차이 (Differences between Pre-service Elementary Teachers' Perceptions and Designs on Smart Tools in Developing Smart-based Lesson Materials)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore how pre-service elementary teachers perceive and use smart learning environments. For this purpose, 23 pre-service elementary teachers who took theory and practice in a science education course were asked to develop lesson materials using smart tools and make a self-report questionnaire. These data were categorized in an instructional, exploratory, and interactive approach, depending on how they guided students to access knowledge and information. As a result of the study, pre-service teachers perceived the smart tools as the exploratory and interactive learning tools to be used for students to actively search for and interact with data and knowledge. But in developing lesson materials, they usually used the smart tools for resource sharing and communication in the instructional manner. In conclusion, the gap between their perception of smart tools and lesson materials, and the educational implications will be discussed.

  • 본 연구는 교육대학 학생들의 초등수학 개념 이해 정도를 조사 분석한 연구로서 두 가지 문제에 관심을 두었다. 첫째, 교육대학 학생들은 등호 기호와 변수에 대하여 어떻게 이해하고 있는가?, 둘째, 초등수학에서 다루는 수학 개념을 얼마 정확하게 이해하고 있는가? 이 연구는 J 대학교 교육대학 학생들을 대상으로 수행되었으며, 앞으로 교육대학에서의 초등수학교육 개선에 활용되어지기를 희망한다.
