  • In this paper, we characterize the graded post-Lie algebra structures on the W-algebra W(2, 2). Furthermore, as applications, the homogeneous Rota-Baxter operators on W(2, 2) and solutions of the formal classical Yang-Baxter equation on $W(2,2){\ltimes}_{ad^*} W(2,2)^*$ are studied.

  • This paper presents a method of constructing the digital logic switching functions using PLA. First of all, we propose a MIN and MAX algebra arithmetic operation based on the Post algebra. And we discuss the T-gate which is used for realization of the MIN and MAX algebra arithmetic operation. Next, we discuss the MIN array and MAX array which are basic circuit of the PLA, also we discuss the literal property. For the purpose of the design for the digital logic switching functions using PLA, we Propose the variable partition, modular structure design, literal generator, decoder and invertor. The proposed method is the more compactable and extensibility.

  • In this paper, we introduce the notions of pregroups, post-groups and pre-B-algebras, and we investigate their relations. Using this notions we give another proof that the notion of B-algebras coincides with the notion of pregroups.

  • In this work, we establish common fixed point results by utilizing a variant of F-contraction in the framework of C*-algebra valued metric spaces. We utilize E.A. and C.L.R. property possessed by the mappings to prove common fixed point results in the same metric settings. To validate the applicability of these common fixed point results, we provide illustrative examples too.

  • In this paper we have introduced the concept of pseudo-metric which we induced from a pseudo-valuation on KU-algebras and investigated the relationship between pseudo-valuations and ideals of KU-algebras. Conditions for a real-valued function to be a pseudo-valuation on KU-algebras are provided.

  • This study examines the effect of using interactive electronic models to teach mathematical concepts on students' achievement in the linear algebra course at university. The field sample consisted of 200 students divided into two equal groups, an experimental group of 100 students and a control group of 100 students. The researcher used an achievement test in some mathematical concepts related to linear algebra. The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences (0.05) between the average achievement scores of the experimental and control groups in the post application of the achievement test, in favor of the experimental group. The size of the influence of the independent factor on the results of the study, which is "interactive electronic forms", on the dependent factor, which is the students' academic achievement in the prepared test, had a very large effect. Also, the results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group in the pre and post applications of the achievement test, in favor of the post application. The researcher recommended the use of interactive electronic models in teaching mathematical concepts at the university level and diversifying the strategies of teaching mathematics, using technology to attract learners and raise their academic achievement.

  • In this paper, we connect (α, β) union soft sets and their ideal related properties with KU-algebras. In particular, we will study (α, β)-union soft sets, (α, β)-union soft ideals, (α, β)-union soft commutative ideals and ideal relations in KU-algebras. Finally, a characterization of ideals in KU-algebras in terms of (α, β)-union soft sets have been provided.

  • This study examined mathematics class using the CAS(Computer Algebra Systems, CAS) targeted for high school first grade students. We examined what kind of transforming of representations got up according to mathematics subject contents at this classroom. This study analyzed 15 math lessons during one month and the focus of analysis was on the classroom teacher. In particular, for transformations among representations this study mainly investigated from theoretical frameworks such as transparent and opaque representation of Lesh, Behr & Post(1987), descriptive and depictive representation of Kosslyn(1994). According to the results of this study, CAS technology affected the transforming of representations in high school math class and this transforming of representations improved the students' thinking and understanding of mathematical concepts and provided the opportunity to create the representation of individual student. Such results of this study suggest the importance of CAS technology's role in transforming of representations. and they offer the chance to reconsider the fact that CAS technology could be used to improve students' ability of transforming representations at the mathematics class.

  • This paper is a study of a linear algebra course taught in a high school on-demand course. Compared to the regular course, flipped learning was added to the course, and applications to signal processing related problems were covered in consideration of students' career aspirations. Overall, the class was a mixture of traditional lectures and flipped learning. Flipped learning was implemented twice. The flipped class consisted of pre-class, in-class and post-class. To verify the effectiveness of the course, a survey was conducted and most of the evaluation items were above 4. The topics of the flipped learning were Markov chains and least squares problem, which are very important in the field of signal processing.

  • This study was designed to investigate the possibility that the optimization problem solving activities based on the instrumented CAS can have an influence on the sequence of mathematics curriculum in secondary mathematics education. Some optimization problem solving activities based on CAS were constructed and executed to eleventh grade(the penultimate year of Korean high school) 7 students for nine class hours. They have experienced using CAS in mathematics class for three months, but never learned calculus. The data which consists of classroom observations(audio and video taped) and post-unit interviews with students were analyzed. In the analysis, with CAS, students can highly deal with the applied optimization problems made up of calculus, cubic equation, solution of radical equation, and graph analysis which never learned. This result shows CAS may have an influence on the sequence of mathematics curriculum in secondary mathematics education.
