In this study, the effectiveness of the warning signs was investigated. n order to survey, adult men and women surveyed 131 peoples. Findings are as follows. Warning level, warning statements, warning size, warning location, warning color is influenced consumers' perception level. However, the location of warning labels, the number of alerts, warnings, symbol type, fonts had no impact on the level of perception. In addition, Awareness have a positive impact on repurchase intention and recommend intention.

This paper Presents active control algorithm using probability density function of structural energy. It is assumed that the structural energy under excitation has Rayleigh probability distribution. This assumption is based on the fact that Rayleigh distribution satisfies the condition that the structural energy is always positive and the occurrence probability of minimum energy is zero. The magnitude of control force is determined by the probability that the structural energy exceeds the specified target critical energy, and the sign of control force is determined by Lyapunov controller design method. Proposed control algorithm shows much reduction of peak responses under seismic excitation compared to LQR controller, and it can consider control force limit in the controller design. Also, chattering problem which sometimes occurs in Lyapunov controller can be avoided.

Sums of independent random variables $S_n = X_1 + \cdots + X_n$ are considered, where the $X_n$ are chosen according to a stationary process of distributions. For $c > 0$, let $t_c$ be the smallest positive integer n such that $$\mid$S_n$\mid$ > cn^{\frac{1}{2}}$. In this set up we are concerned with finiteness of expectation of $t_c$ and we have some results of sign-invariant process as applications.

A 3 year-old male American Pit Bull Terrier in Kwang-Ju, Chonnam was admitted to the Teaching Animal Hospital, Chonbuk National University. He showed convulsive spasms of skeletal muscles, raised tail-head, and rigidity of rigidity. Based on these clinical sign\ulcorner tetanus was suspected Hematological test results showed and WBC value (21 ,800/$\mu$l/) with neutrophils (17.877/$\mu$l) and monocytes (1.744/$\mu$l). The blood chemical values ALT (86 IU/L) and AST (119 IU/L) were elevated. Fecal sample from the dog was cultured in anaerobic chamber. A Gram positive, drumstick shaped bacteria was isolated. The bacteria was identified as Clostridium tetani by biological and biochemical tests. The dog was hospitalized in a quiet place where the light was cut off and treated with penicillin G procaine and phenobarbital sodium. The dog made a complete recovery 25 days after treatment. This Is the first report on C. tetani infection of domestic dog in Korea.

Kinetic studies of the reaction of O-methyl-S-phenylthiocarbonates with benzylamines in methanol at 45.0 ℃ have been carried out. The reaction proceeds by a stepwise mechanism in which the rate-determining step is the breakdown of the zwitterionic tetrahedral intermediate, $T^{\pm}$, with a hydrogen-bonded four-center type transition state (TS). These mechanistic conclusions are drawn based on (ⅰ) the large magnitude of ${\rho}_X\;and\;{\rho}_Z$, (ⅱ) the normal kinetic isotope effects $(k_H/k_D\;>\;1.0)$ involving deuterated benzylamine nucleophiles, (ⅲ) the positive sign of ${\rho}_{XZ}$ and the larger magnitude of ${\rho}_{XZ}$ than that for normal $S_N2$ processes, and lastly (ⅳ) adherence to the reactivity-selectivity principle (RSP) in all cases.

만성중이염은 이과영역에 있어서 가장 빈도가 늪은 질병 중 하나이다. 그중 진주종성 중이염은 이경화증과 골파괴가 심하며, 골파괴의 방향이 안면신경관, 내이 또는 두개내로 진행되면 두개내 합병증이 일어날 수 있으며, 청력장애가 심한 것으로 근년에 이르리 항생물질 및 화학요법등의 치료법이 많은 발달을 가졌어도 최종적인 치료법은 수술요법 밖에 없다. 최근 저자들은 현훈을 주소로 한 22세 남자 환자에서 내이루공을 동반한 진주종성 중이염을 중이 및 유양돌기 근치수술을 시행함으로써 좋은 결과를 얻었기에 이를 문헌적 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

The intramolecular magnetic coupling constant (J) values of diradical-based magnet models (S1-S5) were studied using unrestricted density functional theory. The model systems were designed with series of oxoverdazyl radicals (o-Ver(N) and o-Ver(C)) linked through a benzene coupler. They were divided according to either connectivity of the radical (C or N) or geometrical topology (meta- and para-) of benzene coupler. Reasonable relationship was found between spin density distribution and sign of J value. With our results we determined ferromagnetic (positive J value) and antiferromagnetic (negative J value) interactions. J values were also calculated along the twisting movement by the scan of dihedral angles between the radical and the coupler. An overall trend was found as absolute value of J decreased over increasing torsion angles.

This is a case report of traumatic arterial injuries with false aneurysm & arterio-venous fistula treated surgically at National Medical Center. 3 cases were A-V fistula and 2 cases only false aneurysm. Physiological disturbance were produced by only arteriovenous fistula; In one case ulceration of mid. 1/3 tibia due to diminished arterial flow and in 2 cases left ventricular hypertrophy, in which cases Bramhan`s sign were positive. Removing out the fistulous lesions and aneurysm, all of the arterial continuities has been reconstructed by means of end to end anastomosis, Dacron graft and vein graft, veins were managed by ligations of both ends in two cases and end to end anostomosis in one case. Immediate post operative results were good, and two cases were followed for 10 months.

The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of surfactant on the onset of Marangoni convection adapting a non-linear surface equation of state. The surface tension gradient with respect to the absorbate concentration, ${\gamma}$, is linearly related to the surface concentration of a surfactant with a coeffcient $x_{A}$. The numerical results show that the role of the initial surfactant concentration to Marangoni instability changes from the stabilizer to the destabilizer depending on the change of the sign of $x_{A}$ from negative to positive. It is concluded that for $x_{A}$>0 there is a critical modified Marangoni number of surfactant $M_{Ac}$ $^{*}$ above which liquid layer is always unstable against long wave disturbances.rbances.

Consider the following quasilinear elliptic equation on graph G $$\{-{\Delta}_{pu}={\lambda}K(x){\mid}u{\mid}^{p-2}u+f(x,u),\;x{\in}{\Omega}^{\circ},\\u=0,\;x{\in}{\partial}{\Omega},$$ where ${\Omega}^{\circ}$ and ${\partial}{\Omega}$ denote the interior and the boundary of ${\Omega}$, respectively, ${\Delta}_p$ is the discrete p-Laplacian, K(x) is a given function which may change sign, ${\lambda}$ is the eigenvalue parameter and f(x, u) has exponential growth. We prove the existence and monotonicity of the principal eigenvalue of the corresponding eigenvalue problem. Furthermore, we also obtain the existence of a positive solution by using variational methods.
