형제관계 개선을 위한 부모-자녀 놀이치료 프로그램 효과 연구 (The Development and Effectiveness of a Filial Therapy Program to Improve Sibling Relationships)

  • This study was conducted with the aim of improving sibling relationships of children based on a filial therapy program. Three pairs of young children with problematic behavior regarding sibling relationships participated in this study along with their mothers. The program consisted of four main courses : an instructional course for the mother, a play therapy course, a feedback course, and an evaluation course. The program was conducted in ten weekly 2-hour sessions. Results showed positive changes in mother-child and sibling interactions in all three cases. It was concluded that the program was effective in developing proper sibling relationships through enhancing mother-child interactions.

애착문제 유아 가족을 위한 인형을 이용한 가족놀이치료 프로그램의 개발 및 효과 (The Development and Effectiveness of a Family Play Therapy Program Using Puppets for Families with Children Having Attachment Problems)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a "Family Play Therapy Program" using puppets to decrease attachment problems for families with children having attachment problems and to examine its effectiveness. The participants were an experimental group of 16 individuals(8 children with attachment problems whose ages ranged from 4 to 5 and 8 mothers) and a control group of 16 individuals (8 children with attachment problems whose ages ranged from 4 to 5 and 8 mothers). The experimental group was treated through the Family Play Therapy Program, which involved the use of puppets and was held for twelve sessions twice a week. The changes in the participants were measured in order to examine the effects of the program. The researcher measured children's emotional and behavioral expression(TBP), the mothers' sense of self(Self-Differentiation Scale), personal relationships(ECR-R), and the perception of family functions(ICPS-FFS) both before and after the FPT program and compared their differences. The MIM Rating Scale and Marschak Behavior Rating Scale were administered to examine the interactions between mothers and children, and 1:1 interviews were also conducted. The data thus gathered were used for non-parametric analysis(Mann-Whitney U test and Wilcoxon rank sum test)using SPSS WIN 17.0. The results of this study were as follows: First, the program had a positive effect on children's emotional expression. After the problem were over, negative emotional and behavioral expression in the experimental group decreased. Second, the program had a positive effect on mothers' self-differentiation and personal relationships. Third, the program had a positive effect on changes in the interaction behaviors between the mother and child. Fourth, the program had a partially positive effect on the responses from their group developmental stages, especially on the subscale of both a program for the reinforcement of mothers' emotions and family play program utilizing puppets.

섭식장애가 있는 뇌성마비아동의 사회성 증진을 위한 구강 감각 놀이 치료프로그램의 효과연구 (A Study on the Effect of Oral Sense Play Treatment Program on the Social Enhancement in Dysphagic Children with Cerebral Palsy)

  • Purpose : In this study, we would like to apply oral sensory play therapy program to children with cerebral palsy who have sensitive oral senses to find out the effect on oral sensory ability, oral function, performance ability and sociality. Methods : The subjects of this study were 20 children diagnosed with cerebral palsy, and 10 experimental groups and 10 control groups. Oral sensory play therapy programs, including oral sensory programs, were conducted in the experimental group, while only oral sensory programs were conducted in the control group. Oral Sensory Treatment Level was used to identify the sensory profile and the overall oral function of the oral function was used, and the performance and satisfaction of Canadian occupational performance measure (COPM) were examined to find out the performance of the work, and social skills were examined for social skills (SMS). Results : The level of oral sensory treatment, overall oral function, work performance and sociality all increased significantly in the experimental group, but the oral sense and oral function in the control group were significantly increased, but not significantly in the case of work performance and sociality. Conclusion : Through this study, we confirmed that oral sensory play therapy program is an effective arbitration method for oral sensation, oral function, work performance and social enhancement of children with cerebral palsy. Based on the results of this study, the study of arbitration protocols for children with cerebral palsy with oral sensory problems will have to be more active.

집단게임놀이치료가 시설보호아동의 정서지능과 자아존중감 향상에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of the Group Game Play Therapy on the Improvement of Emotional Intelligence and Self-Esteem of Institutionalized Children)

  • This study was designed to examine the effects of the group game play therapy(GGPT) developed for enhancing emotional intelligence and self-esteem of institutionalized children. The participants were fifty-seven institutionalized children, residing in D city. Twenty-seven subjects were assigned to an experimental group in which the GGPT is practiced and thirty subjects were assigned to a control group in which a game play is practiced. Each group participated in a sixteen-session program twice a week during eight weeks. The data were analyzed by a SPSSWIN 10.0 program. ANCOVA and F-test were used to examine the effects of GGPT of the experimental group. The major results of this study were as follows. Firstly, the level of subject's emotional intelligence of the experimental group got higher than that of the control group. Secondly, the level of subject's self-esteem of the experimental group got higher than that of the control group.

  • 치료적 효과에 대한 선행연구의 분석 결과로 게임놀이치료가 ADHD, 틱장애, 의사소통 발달 장애, 자폐성 등과 같은 장애를 가진 아동의 주의집중력, 과잉행동 및 틱증상 감소, 언어적 의사소통 증가, 부적절한 사회적 행동 감소 등과 같은 사회 정서 발달에 효과적인 것으로 보고되었다. 본 연구는 아날로그와 디지털을 병합한 디지로그 방식의 놀이치료 컨텐츠를 개발하고자 한다. 이는 일반인을 비롯하여 치매노인, 지적장애인등의 치료에도 효과적인 방법이라 판단이 된다. 또한 아날로그 놀이와 디지털적 요소들을 융합하여 유아 스마트폰 중독이 초래하는 문제점을 방지하기 위한 디지로그적 관점의 새로운 놀이 시스템을 개발하고자 한다.

  • Based on the 10 week filial therapy model developed by Landreth (1991) for parents in lower income families, this study used the pre- and post- test model applied to an experimental group of 9 individuals. The program was implemented in three hour sessions, once a week for eight weeks. T-tests were performed following the therapeutic program. Results were that all four subcategories of parent's acceptance capability (respect for children's emotion and emotional expression management, understanding of children's unique temperament, understanding of children's desire for autonomy, and unconditional love for children) showed statistically significant differences between the pre- and post- tests (p< .001). Differences between the pre- and post test on parents' stress approached significance.

  • In the management of the child with mental retardation, the physical therapist is challenged to use various skills. The many complex and persistent difficulties encountered by retarded children often require innovative methods physical therapy. These methods must incorporate not only he basic principles of physical therapy, but also an understanding of the teaching and learning as they relate to the mentally retarded person. Movement Play needs to parents and other professionals requires not only technical expertise on the part of the therapist, but also psychosocial skills and the ability to be a sensitive listener and teacher. We can help the mentally retarded child strive to attain goals in life.

그룹감각통합치료가 학령전기 지적장애 아동의 소근육 기능, 상호작용 및 놀이에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Sensory Integration Group Therapy on Fine Motor, Social Interaction and Playfulness of Preschool Children With Intellectual Disabilities)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 학령전기 지적장애아동에게 제공한 그룹감각통합치료가 소근육 기능, 상호작용 및 놀이에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 한다. 연구방법 : 지적장애 등록을 한 만3~5세 아동 4명을 대상으로 주 1회 90분씩, 총 12회기 실시하였다. 그룹감각통합치료는 평행놀이와 또래놀이 중심의 대근육 활동과 주제에 맞는 미술활동과 감각놀이로 구성하였다. 결과측정은 Erhardt Developmental Prehension Assessment(EDPA)와 또래놀이 상호작용 평점척도(Penn Interactive Peer Play Scale; PIPPS), 놀이다움(The Test of Playfulness; ToP)를 사용하여 대상자의 사전사후 소근육 기능과 상호작용, 놀이를 평가하였다. 측정 결과는 윌콕슨 순위 검정(Wilcoxon matched-pair signed rank test)을 사용하여 소근육 기능과 상호작용, 놀이의 중재 전후로 차이를 비교하여 분석하였다. 결과 : 그룹감각통합치료 후, 소근육 기능은 통계학적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았으나, 상호작용과 놀이에서는 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<.05). 결론 : 그룹감각통합치료는 상호작용과 놀이능력 향상에 유용한 치료적 접근방법이라는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 지속적인 그룹 활동을 통하여 일상생활에서의 다양한 상황에 대한 일반화가 진행되길 기대한다.

The effectiveness of group combined intervention using animal-assisted therapy and integrated elderly play therapy

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of group combined intervention that combined animal-assisted therapy and integrated elderly play therapy on the depression, self-esteem, and emotional expression of geriatric patients residing in nursing homes. This was achieved by providing cognitive, physical, and emotional activities and social interaction at the same time. The group combined intervention method was applied to twelve elderly patients (six in the control group, six in the experimental group) aged 65 or older who live in a nursing home for the elderly in C province, from May 3, 2019 to June 21, 2019, for a total of 8 times (once a week, 50 minutes at a time). The quantitative evaluation was analyzed through SPSS 21.0 for comparison before and after the program was implemented, using the Korean version of the depression and the self-esteem scale. The qualitative evaluation compared emotional expression pre-test and post-test. The major results of the study were as follows: First, the group combined intervention was effective in reducing depression levels of the experimental group among the elderly patients. Second, it was effective in improving the self-esteem of the experimental group among the elderly patients. Third, it showed a significant difference in the emotional expression of the experimental group among the elderly patients. Therefore, it was found that group combined intervention reduces depression and improves self-esteem and emotional expression of the elderly. Based on these results, it is hoped that this study will be a cornerstone in the development of concrete programs for the benefit of elderly patients living in facilities.

대한감각통합치료학회 창립 20주년 학술대회: PLAY inSIde 캠프 보고 (The 20th Anniversary of the Korean Academy of Sensory Integration (KASI): PLAY inSIde Camp Report)

  • 목적 : 본 문헌은 대한감각통합치료학회가 창립 20주년을 맞이하여 개최한 감각통합과 놀이를 연결하는 PLAY inSIde 캠프에 대한 보고이다. 본론 : 캠프의 주요 프로그램은 만 5~6세 발달장애아동을 대상으로 감각통합에 근거를 둔 그룹 활동으로 구성되었다. 캠프는 오프닝 전체 활동 프로그램, 조별 활동 프로그램, 조별 포스트 활동 프로그램, 클로징 전체 활동 프로그램으로 진행되었고, 아동들이 놀이 활동에 참여하는 동안 부모들은 감각통합 부모교육에 참여하였다. 캠프에 참여한 치료사들은 사전 모임과 리허설 시간을 가지며 활동을 계획 및 진행하였고 이 과정에서 치료사들 간의 토의와 서포터의 지원이 있었다. 캠프 후 설문과 토의를 진행 결과, 치료사와 보호자는 캠프 참여에 만족하였고 공동작업을 의미 있게 경험하였다. 결론 : 캠프를 통해 아동들은 다른 아동들과 함께 놀이 활동을 경험하고, 치료사는 다른 치료사들과 전문성을 나누며 교류하고, 학회는 그간 축적된 자원들을 사회에 기여하였다. PLAY inSIde가 초석이 되어 향후 감각통합에 근거를 둔 사회 참여 활동들이 활발해지기를 기대해 본다.
