소비자의 성격유형에 따른 판매원 서비스 평가와 구매행동 특성 (A Study on Evaluation of Salesperson′s Service and Purchase Behavior as related to Customer′s Personality type)

  • The purposes of this research were 1) to identify shopping orientation according to customer's personality type, 2) to examine perceived importance of service and satisfaction of service related to customer's personality type, 3) to find the relationships of evaluation of salesperson's service and re-purchase intention in each of customer's personality types. The data were collected via self-administered questionnaires from 434 female formal wear shoppers. and were analyzed by frequency, factor analysis, ANOVA, Chi-square test, and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows: Shopping orientations varied according to customer's personality type. E type had stronger Hedonic/self-confidence than I type, F type had higher Depending decision making than T type and P type had higher Quick decision making than J type. And service items satisfied the customers with a certain personality type. E type was satisfied with timely and proper A/S, not forcing to purchase and trustful behavior of salesperson more than I Type was. And also with expertise, individualized care, polite attitude, and merchandising promotion. N type was satisfied with individualized care more than S type was. A service evaluation criterion affected the re-purchase intention for a customer with a certain personality type. Customer's convenience in E. I. S, N, T, F, J types had a significant effect on re-purchase intention. And Expertise/ care in E, N, T, J types had a positive effect on re-purchase intention. also Politeness in E, I, S, N, T, J, P types did. But in only E type, Merchandising promotion affected re-purchase intention.

G감성에 따른 브랜드 퍼스낼리티에 관한 연구 -리바이스를 중심으로- (A Study on the Brand Personality according to G Sensibility - Centered on the Casual Brand of Levi's -)

  • This is a study which evaluates the brand personality on casual brands according to the sensibilities of consumers. Focus is placed on classifying the sensibilities of consumers through G sensibilities developed by the Fuji Research Institute in Japan, and then on investigating brand personality of casual wear, Levi's in particular. The subjects are 187 male and female college students living in the Busan area. Data were, using SPSS 10. 0 for Window, statistically analyzed by frequency and factor analysis for VARIMAX, Cronbach's coefficient, and ANOVA. The results of data analysis are as follow; First, in the distribution of G sensibility type, the majority of the respondents have G3(whimsical) type, and then followed by G1(my pace) type, G4(active) type, G2 type(active) type and then G5(sensualist) type. Second, as a result of brand personality evaluation on the casual brands, it has been represented by the following 5 factors; passion, competence, honesty, sophistication, and sentiment. Third, the brand personalities according to G sensibilities showed significant differences among respondents; G5 type(sensualist) especially showed the highest brand personality in the passion and sentiment factors, which are distinctive in the brand personality of Levi's. Consumers of G1 type, G2 type, G3 type, and G4 type showed high brand personality in the competence and honesty factors. The evaluation of brand personality, case study for products development and application, and application of the results need to be continued for follow-up study.

성격유형과 독서성향 관계에 기초한 독서치료 가능성 연구 (A Study on the Possibility of Bibliotherapy based on the Relationship between Pesonality Type and Reading Tendency)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 성격유형별로 독서성향이나 행태에 차이가 나는지를 조사해 봄으로써 성격유형에 기반한 독서치료가 가능할지를 모색하는 것이다. 이 목적을 달성하기 위하여 책이 읽고 싶어지는 상황과 독서를 통하여 추구하고자 하는 발달과업이 감정형과 사고형, 본능형에 따라 다르게 나타나는지 조사하였다. 연구에 필요한 데이터는 수도권에 소재한 K대학의 재학생을 대상으로 수집하였으며, 통계에 이용된 설문서는 815부였다. 연구결과 감정형, 본능형, 사고형에 속하는 학생들의 독서성향이 다른 것으로 나타났다. 이 결과를 바탕으로 성격유형별 독서치료안을 개발할 수 있을 것이라고 본다.

  • 본 연구는 D유형 성격에 따른 간호대학생의 자아존중감, 대인관계, 행복 및 대학생활적응을 분석하고 비교하기 위해 시도되었다. 대상은 간호대학생 181명(D유형 성격 대상자 53명, D유형 성격이 아닌 대상자 128명)이었다. 자료수집은 구조화된 질문지를 이용하여 자가보고하도록 하였다. 자료분석은 ${\chi}^2$-test, Fisher exact test 및 independent t-test를 사용하였다. 분석결과, D유형 성격에 따라 자아존중감, 대인관계, 행복, 대학생활적응에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. D유형 성격 대상자에서 자아존중감은 간호학과 적응 정도, 대인관계는 종교, 행복은 경제상태, 대학생활적응은 종교와 간호학과 적응 정도에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. D유형 성격이 간호대학생의 자아존중감, 대인관계, 행복 및 대학생활적응을 낮추는 요인임을 보여주었다. D유형 성격 간호대학생에서 자아존중감, 대인관계, 행복 및 대학생활적응을 높이기 위한 전략이 필요하다.

대학생의 MBTI성격 유형에 따른 천연아로마 선호도에 미치는 실태연구 (The Study of Scent Preference of Natural Aroma Essential Oil to MBTI Personality Type in University Students)

  • Purpose. The aim of this study was to provide Aromatherapist with analysis of correlation between MBTI personality type and scent preference of natural aroma essential oil in university students. Methods. Data was analyzed by students whom participated in the research on the scent preference of natural aroma essential oil of students from m university who accomplished to MBTI personality survey. Results. As a result, the introverted personality types more liked Peppermint and felt more intensive scent than extroverted personality types did(p=0.006). Extroverted personality types recognized Neroli as feminine scent(p=0.034) and introverted personalty types recognized Frankincense as feminine scent(p=0.045). Extroverted personality types felt that Juniper berry is exciting scent(p=0.036) and that Rosemary(p=0.044) and Lavender(p=0.030) are eco-friendly scent. And introverted personality types relatively less did than extroverted personality types. Conclusions. This study is to get a basic data of aroma preference of university students by looking into the influence that MBTI personality type affect natural aroma preference and to use this data for ease off school stress and job seekng stess and counsel the students.

대학생의 에니어그램 성격유형별 자기표현과 촉진적 의사소통에 관한 연구 (A Study on Self-Expression and Facilitative Communication by Enneatype Among University Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze self-expression and facilitative communication in university students according the their enneagram personality type. The subjects included 241 university students selected from universities in Seoul and Cheonan. The research tools of this study were the enneagram personality type scale, the assertiveness rating scale(self-expression) and facilitative communication rating scale. The statistics used from this data were one-way ANOVA(Post-hoc Duncan). The results were as follows; first, the self-expression was meaningfully different in content, paralinguistic and nonverbal assertive behavior characteristics by enneagram personality type university students. Second, immediacy, the sub factor of the facilitative communication rating scale varied depending upon the enneagram personality type(enneatype) of university students, Several suggestions were made concerning a study on self-expression and facilitative communication according to the enneagram personality type of university students.

한의대생의 성별에 따른 MBTI와 MMPI-2 특성 연구 (A Study on Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 Characteristics Based on Gender of Oriental Medicine Students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this research is to study the psychological characteristics of Korean medical students with a focus on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 (MMPI-2). Methods: The survey was conducted on 101 Korean medical students to investigate their psychological characteristics with a focus on Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2. Results: Among the 16 MBTI personality types, ISTJ was the most common type with the prevalence of 24.8%. According to gender-based classification, there were more men in the J-type category and more women in the P-type category. In the MMPI-2 scales, males showed high scores in Pd, AGGR, DISC, MAC-R, and GM, and females showed high scores in Mf and GF. Conclusions: The personality test for male and female Korean medical students revealed few differences on some scales of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2.

Type D 성격 유형이 관상동맥중재술 환자의 증상 경험과 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 (Influencing Effects of Type D Personality on Symptom Experiences and Quality of Life in Patients with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the influencing effects of type D personality on symptom experiences and quality of life in percutaneous coronary intervention patients. Methods: A descriptive, cross-sectional study design was used. A total of 158 patients with percutaneous coronary intervention participated in this study, between July 1 and November 1, 2015. Data were analyzed by means, standard deviations, t-test, $x^2$ test, ANCOVA, and stepwise multiple regression analysis using SPSS 22.0 program. Results: About 53.8% of participants were classified as type D personality. The type D personality group reported statistically significantly higher symptom experience, lower cardiac function, and lower cardiovascular-specific quality of life compared to non-type D personality group. On stepwise multiple regression, the most significant factor of quality of life was symptom experiences (adjusted $R^2=.25$, p<.001), followed by type D personality (adjusted $R^2=.31$, p<.001). Conclusion: Personality trait assessment is recommended for patients with percutaneous coronary intervention to assess symptom experiences and quality of life. In addition, development of nursing intervention might be beneficial to manage symptom experience and quality of life in percutaneous coronary intervention patients with type D personality.

비행교수와 학생조종사의 성격특성에 따른 비행입문과정 훈련결과 분석 (The Effects of Personality Types of Flight Instructor and Student Pilot on the Introductory Flight Training Results)

  • In this study, MBTI(Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) test was carried out targeting flight instructors and student pilots in charge of introductory flight training course. The results was analyzed in accordance with the personality type, the preferred indicator, and the combination of preferred indicators in order to see how these characteristics affect the flight training results. Most of personality types of the instructor, regardless of the attitude category such as E or I, were -STJ(70.6%), however the student pilot showed a variety of personality types, rather than professors. Sensing-type(S) students showed higher academic achievement scores than Intuition-type(N), and Judging-type(J) students showed higher academic achievement scores and pilot qualification scores than Perceiving-type(P). The success rate of Extraversion-type(E) student pilots was higher than that of Introversion-type(I) student pilots. As the personality combinations of instructor and student pilot, the academic achievement scores of Judging-Judging(J-J) type were higher than those of Perceiving-Perceiving(P-P) type. The combination of Extraversion-Extraversion(E-E) type showed higher success rate than Extraversion-Introversion(E-I). This result suggests that if both instructor and student pilot have same attitude of Extroversion(E), good training results can be expected.

치위생과 및 치기공과 학생의 DISC 행동유형이 전공만족도 및 직업선호도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of the Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness (DISC) personality type on the major satisfactions and job preferences of dental hygiene and dental technology students)

  • Background: This study was aimed at determining the relationship of the Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness (DISC) personality type with the major satisfactions and job preferences of dental hygiene and technician students. Methods: We enrolled 264 dental hygiene and technician students from a junior college in Chungcheong-do. A questionnaire survey was conducted to determine the DISC behavior type, major satisfaction level, and job preference of the participants. Statistical analyses were performed with the independent-samples t-test, one-way analysis of variance, and multiple regression. Results: Dental technician students had higher major satisfaction (p< .001) and preferred jobs with potential for growth (p= .020) or matching their vocation and interests (p= .013) compared to dental hygiene students. Factors influencing major satisfaction were grade (β= .160, p= .008) and a social personality type (β= .146, p= .070). Factors influencing preference for jobs with high growth potential were the personality type (β= .236, p= .001), grades (β= .157, p= .002), and major satisfaction (β= .429, p< .001). The conscientiousness personality type was conducive to preferencefor jobs with high growth potential. The steadiness personality type was conducive to preference for jobs aligned with vocation and interest (β= .249, p= .004). The conscientiousness personality type (β= .137, p= .041) and high major satisfaction (β= .193, p= .003) were conducive to preference for jobs with a satisfactory working environment. Conclusion: The results of this study could serve as a basis for customized career counseling and education programs according to personality types.
