Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the quality of life(QOL) between middle-aged women and men. Method: In this study, we surveyed 482 middle-aged women and men living in Seoul aged between 40 and 64. Data were analyzed t-test, ${\chi}^2$-test, and 2-way ANOVA. Results: There was no significant difference between satisfaction and importance of the life of middle-aged women and men of the overall. However, while the case of middle-aged women showed a significant difference in the emotional support from people who are not family members, middle-aged men showed significant differences between the importance and satisfaction of the life with spouse, the ability to take care of family responsibilities, sex life, energy(fatigue), personal appearance, and pain. In addition, the overall quality of life scores showed no gender difference between the middle-aged women and men but in the quality of life both genders, the family area of the sub-area showed high scores. Conclusion: It is suggested that further repetitive studies for middle-aged women and men are needed by using the same tool of this study and various health promotion programs based on the result of this study should be developed for middle-aged.

Dancing along with mankind has existed in various ways form old age to the present. This dancing combined with artistic meaning is called the art of dancing. This study is mainly about the functions decorations and expressions of dancing costume and the claracteristics of the costumes by the 20th century designers Leon bakst Oskar Schlemer Pablo Picasso. The dancing costume were not so much different from those of the public from old age to middle age. In 18th and 19th centuries the length of the cotstumes become short from the knee to the thigh. The functions have much to do with the development of dancing for example the appearance of toeshoes. The costumes are designed not to prevent the movements of dancers smooth line in old age and ladylike vend high-blown line in the 18th and 19th centuries. Cotton and hemp textiles are turning into the transparent forms such as lace and gauge. The personal ornaments earings and necklaces have change into the pattern with wings and tassels. The dancing costumes of Leon Bakst Oskar Schlemer and Pablo Picasso are designed after the due consideration of body shape. Bakst focused on the beauty of smooth lines with splendid colors and decorations. Schlemer analyzed the body abstractly and metaphysically and expressed it with detaile and simple lines. Picasso emphasized cubic forms with cubism and expressed the characteristics of costumes with clear colors and smooth curved line. Bakst Schlemer and Picasso made the early 20th century the age of functional dancing costumes putting a light on the concept of space and foundation for the modern dancing costumes.

In this study, we ran a collage fashion illustration program. We used in depth personal interviews to find if there are any change in self-image by psychologically analyzing the features of self-images expressed in the pieces of fashion illustration. The total number of objects were five females students majoring in fashion design in Busan. They were hoping to have a psychology consultation to resolve their concerns about the future, family affairs, appearance, and careers. Collage fashion illustration program was used as a experimental tool to find the psychological features shown in the formats and content of collage fashion illustration. We then figure out how pre and post diagnosis were different from each other in terms of ego-identity and DAP. As a result, the formats in collage fashion illustration are related to the self images such as psychological energy, incompetency, suppression, and tendency of self-centered. Also, the contents of the fashion expression are related to the self-images such as dependency, avoidance, wariness, and self-regard. All of the participants have improved self-regard and active action due to improvements in subjectivity, initiative, and goal orientation. Therefore, they could change from pessimistic self-images to optimistic ones.

The fusion research subjects of Oriental medicine and Bio-Technology are actively advanced. Development of information analysis algorithm for constitution diagnosis using clinical and biological information is started recently. In addition, the research for providing personal oriented treatment information with Diagnosis result is to in the process of advancing. This paper considers the inside and outside of the country technical development trend of research for using clinical and biological information by analyzing patents and papers. It executed information analysis about changes to number of research papers and patents, present state and star higher officer of research facility from the dissertation which it sees. It is known that our country research result is slight so far in quantity and quality as result of analysis. But hereafter it contains a many developmental possibility. Also it reflects the appearance and a growth of new field like bioinformatics from constitution and bio information application field. The combination of bio information similar to constitution and heredity and computing technology to control those information efficiently comes to think with core technique.

In oriental medicine, there is the fundamentals to lead a stirring life, and it is an important matter that make a study of fundamentals for treatment. The su-wen(素問) mentions the fundamentals of sheng(生之本), the fundamentals of qi(氣之本), the fundamentals of feng-cang(封藏之本), the fundamentals of ba-ji(罷極之本) and the fundamentals of cang-lin(倉廩之本). They are terminologies expressing physiological functions of the five viscera - heart, lungs, kidneys, liver and spleen. The five viscera are expressed through face, fur, hair, nail and lips. And the five viscera are closely connected with blood, skin, bone, muscle and flesh. Through the changes of personal appearance, we can recognize those of their internal organs. In oriental medicine, they are called as the cang-xiang(藏象). Heart is the fundamentals of sheng(生), and it is related to spirit, blood and blood vessel. Lungs are the fundamentals of qi(氣), because they master the extensive meaning of qi(氣). Kidneys are the fundamentals of feng-cang(封藏) which means seclusion. Liver is the fundamentals of ba-ji(罷極) that have several view by concept. Spleen, stomach, large and small intestines, paunch and bladder are the fundamentals of cang-lin(倉廩), that is to say, gastrointestinal tract that ingest diet and digest it.

This study aims to investigate the concepts and characteristics of Metrosexual and Ubersexual image which are the recent fashion phenomena representing the lifestyles of comtemporary men, and to analyze the design of contemporary men's fashion based on the represented characteristics of these sexual images. To accomplish these ends, various related publications, articles and papers, divers serial publications, and numerous internet articles are collectively reviewed for theoretical studies, and design analysis are conducted for content analysis(style, color, material, detail, etc) using photo data taken from the collections from 2001 through 2006. The results of this study shows that recent appearance of Metrosexual and Ubersexual fashion image represents the change of aesthetic standards in the contemporary society. With the influence of sociocultural phenomena which allow the pursuit of individual personality, the contemporary men, instead of expressing the socialized sexual identity, came to acquire the freedom of sexual identity which represents their personal desires. As an expression of hmnan will to pursue unrestricted sensibility and aesthetic sense, these sexual phenomena of Metrosexual and Ubersexual will be reinterpreted and reappear in various forms as the social atmosphere and aesthetic standards changes.

Future science fiction science film science fiction film can easily see the appearance of the futuristic inquiry. Even if a person does not open the door by force, the door is opened and closed by the system. Even now, such a door can be found easily. However, in the past, people who have not been able to perceive people have been used only in public places such as department stores and marts, where there are many people who are inundated. However, a lot of researches are being done now, and we are pursuing convenience in everyday life by integrating the image processing technology that has been developed and developed many times, by implementing the automatic door which is not infringed by the personal life and is impossible for anyone to access.

There are 18,638 insect species recorded in Korea, representing 35.4% of Korean Biodiversity (52,628). In this study, we classified Korean common name into 11 categories (color, size, shape, plant, location, ecology, foreign language, personal name, native, physiology, positive/negative) and assigned every species into each categories and researched the meaning of Korean common names. We conducted further analysis on 506 cases of hate speech (disability, racial·regional·appearance discriminations). Also we analyzed 508 cases of Japanese expressions (person's name, place name, Japanese language), and proposed alternative words in case of inappropriate usages.

In this report, we describe the successful use of alternate rapid maxillary expansions and constrictions with a hybrid hyrax-mandibular miniplate combination and simultaneous orthodontic treatment for the management of severe Class III malocclusion due to maxillary hypoplasia in an 11-year-old girl. The devices were removed after 20 months of treatment, and the family was instructed about a careful control and retention program that should be followed in accordance with the patient's growth. The final result included the correction of Class III malocclusion with adequate function and excellent facial esthetics, which restored the patient's self-esteem and provided personal motivation. The outcomes showed good stability after 24 months of retention. The decrease in the duration of active treatment is the most important finding from the present case. Considering that facial esthetics in adolescence is a determining factor for the development of a personality and interpersonal relationships, we recommend the use of this protocol for growing patients, who will exhibit not only an improved physical appearance but also a better quality of life.

The objective of this study was to develop a fashion therapy program for improving body image and self-esteem among male workers. Accordingly, the demand for fashion therapy programs was examined by conducting a literature review, survey, and in-depth interviews with men working in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk areas. The results are summarized as follows. The fashion therapy program followed a framework of "introduction-development-final" and was 60 minutes in length, for four sessions (one per week). The contents of the program consisted of a study of the participants' appearance and any concerns they had about their body in Session 1. In Session 2, differences in image perception were examined according to color coding of menswear and personal color. Session 3 comprised understanding what styling is required to supplement men's body shape and what style is suitable for each participant. The content of Session 4 determined how to build social performance or positive image using nonverbal elements. Overall, this study has great significance in that it has developed a study on fashion therapy program originally applied for psychological treatment with women that has been adapted as a program to help improve positive emotions and social competitiveness of male workers in an office environment.
