IT수용 및 확산관련 추진동기, IT저항, 변화관리에 관한 다중사례연구: 자동차산업의 PLM적용사례 중심으로 (Multiple Cases Study on the Motivation, IT Resistance and Change Management for IT Acceptance and Diffusion: focused on Automotive Industry PLM Cases)

  • IT의 기업 내 수용과 확산의 과정에서 나타나는 추진동기(motivation)와 IT저항 그리고 변화관리의 관계를 Product Lifecycle Management(PLM)를 적용하는 9개 자동차기업의 15개 의 다중사례를 기반으로 다루었다. 이를 통해서 추진동기가 IT의 조직 내 확산에 미치는 영향과 IT저항과의 역학적 관계, 그리고 이 과정에서의 변화관리의 역할과 그 중요성을 고찰하기 위한 탐색적 모델이 제안되었다. 또 추진동기에 영향을 미치는 요인으로서 (1)경쟁, 불확실성, 경향, 상호연결성과 같은 환경적요인, (2)중앙집중성, 규모, 리더, 혁신후원가 및 복잡성과 같은 조직적요인, (3)인지된용의성, 인지된유익성과 같은 기술적 요인들을 살펴보았고, 이와 관련된 주요 명제 6가지를 제안하였다. 여기서 추진동기가 IT저항을 충분히 극복할 경우에 수용 및 확산이 지속되고, 변화관리가 이 과정에서 추진동기에 정(+)의 작용을 하고, IT저항을 줄이는 방향으로 전개되는 것이 중요함이 논의되었으며, 환경요인, 조직요인 및 기술요인이 추진동기에 미치는 영향이 있음이 구체적으로 관찰되었다. 이를 통해서 IT의 조직 내 수용과 확산을 위한 요소들에 대한 정의와 그 시사점을 제시하였고, 특별히 PLM과 관련된 향후의 연구기반을 제공할 수 있었다.

고산지대 산악관광 동기와 제약요인에 대한 국제적 연구 (A Study on the High Altitude Mountain Tourism Motivations and Constraints)

  • 산악관광은 관광의 한 분야로서 지속적인 관광수요 창출과 함께 대표적인 관광개발의 대상이 되고 있다. 특히 최근에는 산악관광에 대한 관심과 투자가 급속한 증가 추세에 있고 그 가치와 중요성이 구체적으로 가시화되고 있다. 하지만 산악관광에 대한 선행 연구나 자료가 매우 빈약하고 그 내용 또한 제한적이다. 특히 고산지대 산악관광에 대한 단순한 여행 행태과 동기만이 제한적으로 연구되었다. 본 연구는 고산지대 산악관광의 동기와 제약요인을 규명하고 그 관계성을 검증하는 것을 주된 목적으로 한다. 본 연구를 위한 설문은 인구분포와 산악관광의 주목적지를 고려하여 한국과 인도(시킴), 그리고 네팔(카트만두)에서 조사되었다. 관광객의 산악관광 동기와 제약요인에 관련된 설문지가 제시되었다. 본 연구에서는 산악관광에 대한 한국인의 제약요인이 여타 관광객들에 비해 현저하게 높다는 분석결과와 함께 구조적인 제약요인이 가장 큰 요인임을 입증하였다. 또한 이 연구를 통해 한국인의 산악관광 동기는 건강과 즐거움 추구에 있는데 반해 인도인들을 비롯한 다른 국가의 사람들은 지식추구와 모험심에 기인한다는 결론은 도출하였다. 그리고 환경보존의 중요성은 모든 나라 사람들에게 가장 중요한 산악관광의 과제였음을 확인하였다.

노인의 무력감 완화를 위한 심리 재활에 관한 연구 (A Study on Psychological Rehabilitation to Decrease Powerlessness in the Elderly Population)

  • Older people, because of the psychological and physiological changes related to the aging process are more vulnerable to experiencing powerlessness than any other age group. This self destructive cycle of depression in older people related to the experience of continued and long term powerlessness can lead even to death. The purpose of this study was to measure powerlessness and resources to increase power in older people, and to measure the effectiveness of a psychological rehabilitation program for reducing powerlessness. The research methodology used was a two step process. In the first step, a survey was done of perceived powerlessness and power resources comparing four groups of elderly people ; those living at home, those in hospital, those living in nursing homes and those attending educational programs for the elderly. The total sample size was 236. In the second step, a psychological rehabilitation program was carried out, pre and post measurements were taken related to this program. The sample consisted of 29 residents in a nursing home. The results of the study are as follows : 1. Powerlessness was classified as cognitive, emotional, activity and learning. The lowest score for powerlessness was in the area of activity, that is the people in the sample felt more power concerning their activities. The highest score was in the area of cognition where they felt they had less power. 2. When the different groups of elderly were compared, it was found that the residents of the nursing home had the highest score on perceived powerlessness and the group who were living at home had the lowest score. 3. Among the general characteristics, the factors influencing the powerlessness score were age, sex, level of education, financial resources and health status. In the interaction effects among these factors, it was found that level of education and health status were factors influencing perceived powerlessness. The elderly with lower education and poorer health status had the higher scores for perceived powerlessness. 4. The power resources could be classified into the following areas : physical strength, emotional strength, positive self-image, energy, knowledge, motivation and belief system. Belief system was given the highest score among the power resources and energy, knowledge and motivation were given low scores. 5. The group participating in an educational program for the elderly had the highest score for power resources while the group made up of residents of a nursing home had the lowest score as well as the highest score for perceived powerlessness. 6. The factors influencing the power resource scores were sex, level of education, financial resources and health status. In the analysis of the interaction effect among the factors, it was found that sex, level of education and financial resources were the factors that influenced the power resource score, that is, women, those with a low level of education and those with poor financial resources reported a lower level of power resources. 7. There was a negative correlation between perceived powerlessness and power resources in the elderly in this study. Since power resources explainded 49% of the variance for powerlessness, it can be concluded that the power resources can be used to reduce powerlessness. 8. The psychological rehabilitation program was carried out with the nursing home residents over a period of five weeks. No statistically significant difference was found in the scores on powerlessness between the pre and post tests, but there was a slight decrease in the raw scores on the post test for emotional, activity and learning powerlessness. There was a statistically significant increase in the power resource scores for emotional strength, positive self-image, energy, knowledge and motivation in the post test as compared to the pre test. In conclusion, the study indicates that a psychological rehabilitation program for the elderly could be effective in increasing power resources and this in turn could lead to a decrease in perceived powerlessness.

Measuring Stages of Change, Perceived Barriers and Self efficacy for Physical Activity in Saudi Arabia

  • Background: The benefits of physical activity are well established and recognized to prevent adults from many chronic diseases and particularly some forms of cancers. Objectives: The present study was conducted to investigate the present status of physical activity among Saudi adults in Al-Ahsa, and to examine the association between the stages of change for physical activity and perceived barriers, and self efficacy. Methods: A cross-sectional study of 242 subjects (118 males and 124 females) attending health centers aged between 20-56 years, were personally interviewed for demographic data, anthropometric measurement, physical activity level, stages of change for physical activity, self efficacy and perceived barriers. Results: Forty eight percent of the females were overweight and 16.9% of the males were obese with no significant difference between the genders for BMI categories. More than half of the females were inactive and 39% of the males were physically active with a significant difference (P=0.007). Twenty percent of the males were in maintenance stage, while similar percentage of the females were in contemplation stage. However the majority of the subjects were in pre-contemplation stage with a significant difference across the stages. Males had a higher mean score of self efficacy and less external barriers of physical activity. The major barrier among the females was lack of time ($7.2{\pm}1.4$) and in the males, lack of motivation ($7.7{\pm}1.4$). The females had less internal ($21.2{\pm}3.8$) barriers comparable to the males ($23.08{\pm}4.7$). Both genders had a significant relationship between stages of changes of physical activity and perceived barriers (internal and external), but in the females no significant difference across the stages was observed for self efficacy unlike the males who had a significant difference for self efficacy and self efficacy categories. Conclusion: The present study provided useful data on stages of change for physical activity and some psychosocial factors (self efficacy and perceived barriers) that can help to tailor strategies aiming at increasing physical activity level according to self efficacy and to the barriers detected, to prevent many chronic diseases including certain types of cancer in Saudi Arabia.

인적자원관리시스템에 대한 공정성인식이 결과행위에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effects Comes up to Outcome Behavior of the Perceived Justice on Human Resources Management System)

  • This study aims at developing and empirically testing a comprehensive model of organizational justice derived from the prior empirical studies on organizational justice. The study seeks to understand the antecedents to and the consequences are addressed. The first question is what characteristics of the HRM systems determine the levels of perceived distributive and procedural justice. Hypotheses are derived from the two prominent theoretical models, i.e., the self-interests model (SIM) and the group value model (GVM). Those factors include neutrality, consistency, accuracy. ethicality. credibility. and reciprocity in the processes of making HRM decisions. All nine factors suggested by the two models aye adopted for this study as major determinants of both distributive and procedural justice. The second question of this study is related to the moderating effects of individual differences on the relationship between the SIM and GVM variables and perceived distributive and procedural justice in organizational contexts. The final research question deals with the consequences of perceived organizational justice. specifically job - related altitudes and organizational commitment. Job-related attitudes in this study refer to job satisfaction, job motivation, and job involvement, i.e., the willingness to make contributions. identification with organization, and intent to stay. In examining the consequences of perceived organizational justice, the study focuses on the interaction effects of procedural and distributive justice on the above nine outcome variables. The results show that both SIM and GVM variables significantly influence distributive and procedural justice. However, hierarchical regression analyses reveal that the GVM variables except more influence has been focused on the consequences of perceived distributive justice with regard to outcomes provided by the organization.

가상 가치 접근법을 이용한 수질 개선 사업의 편익 측정: 금강 유역 사례 (Assessing the Benefits of Water Quality Improvements Using Contingent Valuation Method: Case Study of the Kumgang Area)

  • This paper is concerned with the assessment of benefits from water quality improvements. The contingent valuation method (CVM) is employed to directly measure the value of the project for the improvement of the water pollution in the Kumgang area. The perceived value of the improved water quality is investigated by using questionnaires to those concerned living near water-polluted area. The questionnaire includes such questions as the amount to willingly pay, the motivation to pay, the reasons of rejecting the payment, and some socio-economic data. The results of the survey show that (1) non-use value of the environmental goods is perceived to be more important than use-value of the environmental goods; (2) "willingness to pay" for the improved water quality varies according to the degree of educational level. income level and ages; (3) the resistance to pay for the project comes from the "polluter's pay principle".

재활용 행동 집단별 소비자특성과 영향요인에 관한 비교연구 (A Comparison of Consumer Characteristics between high and low Group in Recycling Behavior)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine consumer characteristics according to the recycling behavior and analyze the affected variables on recycling behavior. For the empirical analysis, the data was collected 585 consumers from May 14 to June 8,2001. The statistical methods for this study were descriptive statistics, t-tests, cross tables, ANOVA and multiple regression analysis using SPSS PC program. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1. Convenience was important variables to explain the recycling behavior of household trash between two groups, but extrinsic incentives of rewards for undertaking the behavior was not significant. 2. Intrinsic motivation like as perceived consumer difficulties(PCD), perceived consumer effectiveness(PCE), recycling altitude, and ethic was significant variables to compare two groups. 3. Recycling knowledge was important to explain the recycling behavior, but no impact on recycling behavior. 4. Except age, all of socially demographic variables were significant to compare the recycling behavior of two groups. 5. Recycling attitude and convenience had influence on recycling behavior. Especially, ethic had influence on low level recycling behavior of consumer group.

A Study on the Influence of the Elderly's Will to Use Mobile Payments in China and Korea

  • This article aims to study the influence of the motivation and resistance of mobile payment on the willingness of elderly users to use it. A model for the willingness to use mobile payment is constructed based on the UTAUT model, using elderly people in China and South Korea as the research subjects. We found the following conclusions after analyzing the data with SPSS and AMOS, In general, social influence and performance expectations are the biggest drivers for mobile payment adoption among seniors, while perceived risk and cost are the biggest obstacles. This research can provide useful recommendations for the formulation of corporate strategies and provide new development directions and enlightenments for mobile payment companies.

Security Determinants of the Educational Use of Mobile Cloud Computing in Higher Education

  • The decision to integrate mobile cloud computing (MCC) in higher education without first defining suitable usage scenarios is a global issue as the usage of such services becomes extensive. Consequently, this study investigates the security determinants of the educational use of mobile cloud computing among universities students. This study proposes and develops a theoretical model by adopting and modifying the Protection Motivation Theory (PMT). The studys findings show that a significant amount of variance in MCC adoption was explained by the proposed model. MCC adoption intention was shown to be highly influenced by threat appraisal and coping appraisal factors. Perceived severity alone explains 37.8% of students "Intention" to adopt MCC applications, which indicates the student's perception of the degree of harm that would happen can hinder them from using MCC. It encompasses concerns about data security, privacy breaches, and academic integrity issues. Response cost, perceived vulnerability and response efficacy also have significant influence on students "intention" by 18.8%, 17.7%, and 6.7%, respectively.

  • 본 연구는 한국과 중국 조직 구성원의 직무배태성을 높이기 위해 내적동기를 유발시킬 수 있는 방법을 탐색하고자 한다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 최근 관심이 증가되고 있는 내적동기를 유발시킬 수 있는 변수인 조직지원인식, 상사지원인식, 동료지원인식을 선정하고 직무배태성에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하고 직무배태성이 혁신행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 한다. 또한 이 과정은 중국과 한국은 차이가 있는 지롤 검증하고자 한다. 본 연구의 연구가설을 검증하기 위해 한국 경기도와 중국 하복성에 있는 VR기술을 활용한 자동차 기업의 연구원들을 대상으로 설문지를 이용할 것이며, 설문조사 실시하였다. 연구의 대상들에게 총 200 쌍의 설문지를 배포하였으며, 그 중 195쌍이 회수되었으며, 회수된 설문지 중 불성실한 응답을 제거한 191쌍이 최종분석에 이용되었다. 수집된 자료들을 SPSS 24.0과 AMOS 24.0을 사용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 확인적 요인분석, 상관관계분석, 구조방정식모형분석 등을 실시하였다. 실증분석을 통해 확인된 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같이 요약될 수 있다. 첫째, 지원인식(조직지원인식, 상사지원인식, 동료지원인식)이 직무배태성에 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것이다. 둘째, 직무배태성은 혁신행동에 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것이다. 셋째, 지원인식(조직지원인식, 상사지원인식, 동료지원인식)이 혁신행동에 부분적으로 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것이다. 넷째, 한국과 중국에 있는 기업 직원의 직무배태성의 형성과정과 영향력이 부분적으로 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
