SPECIAL ORTHONORMAL BASIS FOR L2 FUNCTIONS ON THE UNIT CIRCLE

  • We compute explicitly the matrices represented by Toeplitz operators on the Hardy space over the unit circle with respect to a special orthonormal basis constructed by author in terms of their symbols. And we also find a necessary condition for the matrix generated by the product of two Toeplitz operators with respect to the basis to be a Toeplitz matrix by a direct calculation and we finally solve commuting problems of two Toeplitz operators in terms of symbols. This is a generalization of the classical results obtained regarding to the orthonormal basis consisting of the monomials.

  • In this paper, we will investigate the set of linear operators on real square matrices that strongly preserve multivariate majorisation without any additional conditions on the operator. This answers earlier conjecture on nonnegative matrices in [3] .

  • The purpose of this paper is to obtain the solution of Fredholm-Volterra integral equation with singular kernel in the space $L_2(-1, 1)\times C(0,T), 0 \leq t \leq T< \infty$, under certain conditions,. The numerical method is used to solve the Fredholm integral equation of the second kind with weak singular kernel using the Toeplitz matrices. Also the error estimate is computed and some numerical examples are computed using the MathCad package.

  • Some new trace inequalities for convex functions of self-adjoint operators in Hilbert spaces are provided. The superadditivity and monotonicity of some associated functionals are investigated. Some trace inequalities for matrices are also derived. Examples for the operator power and logarithm are presented as well.

  • In this paper, we introduce and study the generalized inverse $A^{(1,2)}_{T,S}$ with the prescribed range T and null space S of an adjointable operator A from one Hilbert $C^*$-module to another, and get some analogous results known for finite matrices over the complex field or associated rings, and the Hilbert space operators.

  • The spanning column rank of an $m{\times}n$ matrix A over a semiring is the minimal number of columns that span all columns of A. We characterize linear operators that preserve the sets of matrix pairs which satisfy additive properties with respect to spanning column rank of matrices over semirings.

  • In this paper, we compute the Hankel matrix representation of the Hankel operator on the Hardy space of a general bounded domain with respect to special orthonormal bases for the Hardy space and its orthogonal complement. Moreover we obtain the compact form of the Hankel matrix for the unit disc case with respect to these bases. One can see that the Hankel matrix generated by this computation turns out to be a generalization of the case of the unit disc from the single simply connected domain to multiply connected domains with much diversities of bases.

  • In this paper, we consider the row rank inequalities derived from comparisons of the row ranks of the additions and multiplications of nonnegative integer matrices and construct the sets of nonnegative integer matrix pairs which is occurred at the extreme cases for the row rank inequalities. We characterize the linear operators that preserve these extreme sets of nonnegative integer matrix pairs.

  • We define an operator version of the relative Rényi entropy as the generalization of relative von Neumann entropy, and provide its fundamental properties and the bounds for its trace value. Moreover, we see an effect of the relative Rényi entropy under tensor product, and show the sub-additivity for density matrices.
