A Study on the Validation Test for Open Set Face Recognition Method with a Dummy Class (더미 클래스를 가지는 열린 집합 얼굴 인식 방법의 유효성 검증에 대한 연구)

  • The open set recognition method should be used for the cases that the classes of test data are not known completely in the training phase. So it is required to include two processes of classification and the validation test. This kind of research is very necessary for commercialization of face recognition modules, but few domestic researches results about it have been published. In this paper, we propose an open set face recognition method that includes two sequential validation phases. In the first phase, with dummy classes we perform classification based on sparse representation. Here, when the test data is classified into a dummy class, we conclude that the data is invalid. If the data is classified into one of the regular training classes, for second validation test we extract four features and apply them for the proposed decision function. In experiments, we proposed a simulation method for open set recognition and showed that the proposed validation test outperform SCI of the well-known validation method

  • Today, the use of the open source software is rapidly increasing. But, it is also true that the quality aspect of the open source software is not being considered seriously enough. As we see, the future prospect of the open source software seems to demand the development of a set of quality assessment technology for the open source software due to the current status of quality problems and sustained growth in its usage. Therefore, in this study a set of open source assessment models are analyzed to establish evaluation criteria, with which the open source software are to be evaluated.

  • It is an important issue to detect automatically whether a mask is worn or not for corona prevention. It is known that mask wearing detection can be solved by learning the face data set. However, the search for whether a person is wearing a mask can be detected in a simpler way using OpenCV. In this paper, we describe that it is possible to easily detect whether a single person is wearing a mask or not with a general PC camera using OpenCV learning data results and simple OpenCV functions. Through experiments, the proposed method was shown to be effective.

  • This paper discusses the properties of attractors of Type 1 IFS which construct self similar fractals on product spaces. General results like continuity theorem and Collage theorem for Type 1 IFS are established. An algebraic equivalent condition for the open set condition is studied to characterize the points outside a feasible open set. Connectedness properties of Type 1 IFS are mainly discussed. Equivalence condition for connectedness, arc wise connectedness and locally connectedness of a Type 1 IFS is established. A relation connecting separation properties and topological properties of Type 1 IFS attractors is studied using a generalized address system in product spaces. A construction of 3D fractal images is proposed as an application of the Type 1 IFS theory.

  • The aim of this article is to introduce hesitant fuzzy paraopen and hesitant fuzzy mean open sets in hesitant fuzzy topological spaces. Moreover we investigate and extend some properties of hesitant fuzzy mean open with hesitant fuzzy paraopen, hesitant fuzzy minmimal open and maximal open sets in hesitant fuzzy topological spaces.

  • 2차원 유동장내 수직 진동하는 원통의 Von Karman 와열 유동 현상에 대한 진동 주파수 계산 문제는 진동하는 물체의 비정상 공력 해석 연구 검증에 많이 사용하는 고전적 방법이다. 본 연구에서는 오픈소스 OpenFoam 기반의 중첩격자 기법을 사용하여 층류 유동장내의 수직방향 진동하는 원통 주변의 비정상 유동 현상과 원통 벽면에서의 공력 특성 변화를 해석하기 위한 일련의 해석 단계들과 결과를 타 연구그룹과 비교하였다. 원통 형상과 진동에 의한 와열 유동의 주기적 유동 특성과 복잡성 해석의 건전성을 확보하기 위하여 격자와 시간제어에 대한 해의 정확도에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다. 본 연구에서 수행한 해석 방법은 일관성과 신뢰성 있는 해석 결과들 보여주었으며, 향후 보다 실제적인 진동하는 에어 포일의 비정상 공력 해석 연구에 적용 가능함을 확인하였다.
