비영리기관 종사자의 소진이 조직효과성에 미치는 영향 - 건강가정지원센터와 다문화가족지원센터를 중심으로 (The Effect of Burnout in Non-profit Organization Worker's on Organizational Effectiveness -A Focus on the Healthy Family Support Center and Multicultural Family Support Center)

  • This study focused on the Healthy Family Support Center and Multicultural Family Support Center, which supervise the main field of family resource management with institutional household factors. Our research objective was to present datas demonstrating an improvement in the organizational effectiveness of the Multicultural Family Support Center. The burn out average of employees working for the non-profit organization was 2.45, emotional burnout was 2.87, achievement was 2.43, and dehumanization was 2.06. The effectiveness average of the nonprofit organization was 3.56, profitability was 3.65, job satisfaction was 3.58, and organizational commitment was 3.45. The generic characters that caused burnout were age, information, and professionalism in research. The generic characters and burnout that affected the organizational effectiveness included a lack of accomplishment, and emotional exhaustion, and depersonalization, lack of information and professionalism, lack of external resources in that order. The purpose of this research was to determine the effects of burnout in order to prevent job changes and to provide basic data for the improvement of organizational effectiveness.

비영리조직의 자원개발 전략에 관한 탐색적 연구 (The Resource Development Strategy for Non-Profit Organization)

  • 본 연구는 비영리조직을 대상으로 재원충원 방안으로 선택하고 있는 자원개발 활동이 어떻게 이루어지고 있는 지 그 내용과 지원 수요를 예측하기 위해 탐색형식으로 시도되었다. 연구대상은 복지서비스단체, 시민단체, 복지관 영역의 비영리조직들로, 설문조사를 통해 총 356곳의 자료가 수집되어, 조직과 재정에 관한 기본구조, 자원개발에 관한 내부환경, 자원개발 세부전략의 활용여부와 빈도, 그리고 자원개발의 효과성, 비영리조직이 선호하는 자원개발 전략과 수행에 따르는 어려움 등이 분석되었다. 결과적으로, 비영리조직의 나이는 10~14년으로, 총 인력 수는 13~19명이었으며, 자원개발을 위한 내부 환경은 복지관이 다른 복지서비스단체와 시민단체에 비해 인력과 부서, 후원자 관리, 전산관리 프로그램 체계가 갖추어진 편으로, 다른 두 집단은 내부 체계가 미흡한 것으로 파악되었다. 부족한 재원을 충당하기 위한 비영리조직의 자원개발 전략의 효과성 측면에서는 이벤트, 기업모금, 프로포졀 공모 등이 높게 평가되고 있었고, 향후 활용하고자 하는 선호전략으로도 거론되고 있었다.

일-가정 균형을 위한 지역사회의 지원에 대한 고찰 (A Study on the Service Support Program for the Work-Family Balance in the Community)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate service support programs for the work-family balance in the community. Service support programs in the community are at beginning stages of development, because it has taken about 10 years to put a self-governing system into practice in Korea. This study concentrates on service support programs developed by various service organizations in the city and does not include any rural districts. First, the developmental process of the work-family balance model and type of the service support program in the community were studied. Next, the situation of care service support was examined based on written articles. Finally, a few suggestions were made f3r work-family balance in the community. The developmental situation of work-flmily balance in Korea is in a stage which is shifting from the company-leading model to a family-company-community model. The most common type of service support program offered in the community until now has been the informal sector through relatives, neighbors or friends. However, service support programs, in the public sector by the government and in the voluntary sector by nonprofit organizations and corporations, has rapidly been growing and the number of services from each sector has also increased. Profit organizations in the private sector, such as medical and care service centers, are also now rapidly increasing. It appears that service support programs contributing to the work-family balance in the community come from a number of sectors, including public, voluntary, private and informal sectors, to suit consumer needs.

비영리조직 구성원의 일가족양립 경험에 대한 질적 사례연구 (A Qualitative Case Study on the Work-Family Reconciliation Experiences of NPO Workers)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 비영리조직 구성원의 일가족양립 경험을 이해하고자 하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해, 연구자들은 일가족양립 경험이 있는 비영리조직 구성원들과 심층면접을 실시하여 자료를 수집하고, 질적 사례연구 접근을 통해 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 일가족양립과 관련된 여러 가지 영역과 각 영역의 경험들을 파악할 수 있었다. 구체적으로 제시하면, 제도 영역에서는 '빈익빈부익부', 일 영역에서는 '조직문화가 중요해', '쓸 수 있지만 또한 쓸 수 없는', '일 자체의 가치', 가족 영역에서는 '고군분투: 끌어안기와 내려놓기', 일과 가족 사이 영역에서는 '저울질과 줄타기' 등이었다. 또한 이러한 영역들과 경험들을 관통하는 본질 주제를 분석한 결과 '궁극적 선택, 비영리', '최적보다는 적정: 기울어진 채로 돌아가는 것도 양립', '제도는 생물이다: 변화무쌍'이라는 세 가지 주제가 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과들에 근거하여 비영리조직과 그 구성원들의 일가족양립을 지원하기 위한 정책과 실천 지침들을 제언하였다.

  • Purposes: The purpose of this study is to argue that the taxation system for non-for-profit medical institution in Korea should be revised and that the basic direction should be to expand tax exemption like the US. Methods: We analyzed the US context of taxation policy for non-for-profit medical institutions and compared the US and Korean situation. Findings: In the United States, for-profit or non-for-profit medical institutions eternities are the most important criteria for hospital classification. Basically, full tax-exemption has been applied for non-for-profit medical institutions. The reason why many hospitals maintain their status as non-for-profit are following. First, the American society places great importance on the social responsibility and role of non-for-profit hospitals. Second, maintaining the status of non-for profit medical institutions is financially beneficial while maintaining good social reputation. The most powerful financial incentives are tax deductions and tax deductions for donations. Practical Implications: How will the taxation system for medical institutions in Korea be reformed in the future? First, if Korean government do not allow for-profit medical institutions, Korean government should consider implementing a full tax exemption system suitable for non-profit medical institutions like the US. Second, there are many variation in taxation for non-for-profit medical institution according to their legal positions. Therefore, current taxation system should be revised. Third, the reorganization of such taxation system should be in a direction that can finally encourage community benefit activities of medical institutions of nonprofit hospitals.

  • Recently, the Ministry of Education is striving to move education and school libraries toward the information age and to create an atmosphere open education. School libraries need to be furnished with lots of useful materials for the curriculum of open education. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. 1. Nonprofit organizations such as school libraries should adopt the concepts and techniques of marketing to solve the problems for the rational management of the system. 2. Marketing techniques can be adopted in the areas such as collection development, service fee, selection of the place of library, advertising, better library user organization etc. 3. School libraries should be total educational information centers to realize educational goal and the curricular. 4. Procedures for marketing strategies for school libraries are embodied in mission statement, environmental analysis, marketing audit, marketing mix, marketing segmentation, evaluation methods etc. 5. The 4 "Ps", product, price, place, promotion make up the marketing mix for school libraries.libraries.

IT를 활용한 기업-지역사회 혁신모델 사례연구 : Samasource의 Microwork를 중심으로 (A Case Study on Social Innovation Model of Samasourse Using IT Microworks)

  • As social problems including aging, depopulation, healthcare, poverty, a lot of government, organizations is trying to solve the problems. Recently, social innovation is emerging as strategy for solving social problems around the world. Social innovation means more effective, sustainable and new solutions that increase total values of society. This study attempts to introduce microworks of the Samasource as a case of the business-community innovation model using IT. Samasource is one of three social ventures under the nonprofit organization Sama Group established in 2008. Its mission is to alleviate worldwide poverty by connecting unemployed people in impoverished countries to digital work. Based on the internet model "microwork", they split huge digital projects into small scales, and deliver them to BOP(Bottom Of Pyramid) groups through the internet. This case describes a business model, revenue model, and impact of Samasource's Microwork. Implications of the case were suggested in the conclusion. To this end, I would like to provide a meaningful implication to researchers and founders of the South Korea.

  • 본 연구는 비영리단체에 기부를 하는 소비자들의 자선충동의 동기가 심리적 성과에 미치는 영향을 탐색적으로 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 자기결정성 이론에 근거한 비영리 단체에 대한 자선충동 동기가 소비자-비영리단체 간의 동일시를 매개변수로 하여 기부충성도에 영향을 미치는 요인임을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 기부자들이 비영리단체에 대한 심리적 측면에서의 자선충동 동기에 관한 연구가 전무한 실정에서 자선모금기관이 재원을 확보할 수 있는 효과적인 마케팅 전략을 구축하는데 기초자료를 제공하며 소비자들의 자선충동 동기에 대해 탐색하는 최초의 연구로서 중요한 의의를 가진다.

  • As the technology, global economy, and social structures and patterns have rapidly been changing since the 20th century, the forward-thinking leaders in the world begin to realize that they must embrace a new paradigm in management and organizational theories. The new idea of management is focused on equality rather than hierarchical structure, and more responsive to the external environment, more flexible, and better prepared to give customers what they want. From this new paradigm revolution, the nonprofit organizations like youth development organization are trying to approach and implement the new theories and models. This study attempted to introduce the historical trend and a new paradigm of youth development organizational structures and programs in the USA that may help Korea to improve youth organizations and programs. The youth development sector should create healthy, thriving organizations and structures that cultivate staff, programs, partnership between youth and adults, and community.

  • Marketing is a topic of growing interest to nonprofit organizational managers(for example, hospitals, museums, charities and, churches, universities and colleges) as their organizations confront new, complex marketplace problems. These organization heads(specially in university and college) are laking their first, tentative steps toward marketing, often confusing it with its advertising and selling subfunctions. A genuine marketing response has been undertaken by a relatively small number of college in america. Their approach is best described as market-oriented institutional planning. In these approach, marketing is recognized as much more then mere promotion, and indeed, the issue of promotion cannot be settled in principles until more fundamental issues are resolved. According to market-oriented institutional planning customer satisfaction is one of the most important concept in university(college) marketing. Therefore, this study reviews literatures about university(college) marketing and general customer satisfaction. The literature study suggests some research hypotheses about customer satisfaction in college. Next, these hypotheses are tested empirically using ${\chi}^2-test$, multiple linear regression analysis and t-test. The research results worth explorative study on the customer satisfaction in the college.
