증분형 추정기를 사용한 새로운 장구간 예측 자기동조 제어 (A Novel extended Horizon Self-tuning Control Using Incremental Estimator)

  • In the original incremental Extended Horizon Control, the control inputs are computed recursively each step in the prediction horizon. But in this paper, we propose another incremental Extended Horizon Self-tuning Control version in which control inputs can be computed directly in any time interval. The effectiveness of this algorithm in a variable time delay or load disturbances environment is demonstrated by computer simulation. The controlled plant is a nonminimum phase system.

  • Generally, level control in the steam generator of a nuclear power plant is difficulty process control, because the low power operating can lead nonminimum phase characteristics(swell and shrink phenomenon) and flow measurement are unreliable and nonlinear characteristics. This paper presents a framework for solving this problem based on the constrained linear model predictive control and introduces the design of method for the level of the controller in the entire operating power of the steam generator, and compares with conventional PI controller.

  • A direct adaptive control algorithm for discrete-time SISO systems with arbitrary zeros is presented in a general way by making use of reference model. A linear equation error model is formulated for estimating both the controller parameters and the auxiliary parameters. With this algorithm, asyptotic tracking within an arbitrarily small error can be achieved.

  • In the original incremental generalized predictive control, the receding horizon predictive control is introduced as a control law. But in this paper, we propose a generalized predictive self-tuning control using full-valued incremental controls. The control law is a mean horizon predictive control. The effectiveness of this algorithm in a variable time delay or load disturbances environment is demonstrated by computer simulation. The controlled plant is a nonminimum phase system.

  • In this paper the PID-B self-tuner[1] is extended to allow a less abrupt response to set point or plant parameter changes and to control a nonminimum phase plant. The proposed extended PID/ST derived from the direct pole-placement PID/ST is obtained with the Bezout identity as the underlying design method. And its control gains are normalized by the integral control gain. Although the integral control gain is normalized to 1 in our scheme, the so-called "set point and derivative kick" can be avoided sufficiently by normalizing the measurement vector and set point.

  • A class of adaptive controllers with integral action is proposed, which may riject the offset due to any load disturbance on the plant. Effective integral action and robust identification against the offset can be achieved via the zero-gain predictor. The system is improved, in this paper, to be of more generalized structure, and the detuning control weight which can cope with nonminimum-phase systems is tuned on-line. Discrete-time versions of the improved system are developed, which may be more flexible for the choice of the design parameters. The resulting control systems may also be shown to be robust to the unmodelled dynamics.

HOS를 이용한 통신 채널의 역 모델링에 관한 연구 (A study on the iverse modeling of communication channel by HOS)

  • This paper deals with an inverse modeling of nonminimum phase communication channel utilizing the HOS (High Order Statistics) of the received signal. After the communication channel is separated into the minimum phase and maximum phase components, the inverse modeling is performed independently. The performance superiority is confirmed by monte-carlo computer simulation in comparison with the traditional CMA (Constant Modulus Algorithm) method. By utilizing the proposed algorithm employing the HOS of the received signal, the inverse frequency characteristics of the channel can be obtained withoug transmitted signal in digital communication. This algorithm is required in preprocessing or postprocessing in order to remove the channel effect, and effective in the self adaptive equalizer which can minimize the bit error rate or symbol error rate in the recovry of received signal.

  • 본 논문은 비최소 위상 시스템을 보다 효율적으로 제어하기 위하여 기존의 PID 타입의 선형 제어기와 병렬적으로 구성된 신경망 제어기의 구성에 대하여 다룬다. 제안된 제어기의 제어 목표는 비최소 위상 시스템의 제어의 경우 흔히 나타나는 언더슛 현상을 최소화하면서 설정된 시스템 응답과의 응답 오차가 최소화하는 것이다. 전체 비용 함수는 고려된 두 가지의 개별 목적 함수간의 선형 합으로 이루어 진다. 신경망 제어기는 주어진 전체 제어 시간 동안의 제어 성능을 광역 평가를 통하여 주어진 전체 비용 함수를 최소화하는 최적 제어기를 구성하도록 진화 프로그래밍을 이용하여 off-line으로 학습된다. 일반적인 컴퓨터 모의 실험으로 계단 신호 응답에서 나타나는 빠른 settling 시간, 작은 언더슛과 오버슛과 같은 제어 성능 향상의 관점에서 기존의 선형 제어 시스템의 성능에 비해 훨씬 효과적이라는 것을 보인다. 또한, 파렛토(pareto) 다중 최적화 개념을 도입하여 선형 합으로 이루어진 비용 함수 최적화의 한계성과 문제점을 극복한다.

  • Tracking control of an arbitrary reference has been discussed for 7Th order 2-input 2-output non-minimum phase EGR/VGT diesel engines. To meet strict emission regulations and customer demands, the desired set points, the air-fuel ratio and the ERG flow fraction, determined from a static engine data based on engine speed and the desired fueling rate are transformed into the set points for the two sensor measurement outputs. Applying the sliding mode tracking control theory proposed by Jeong and Utkin, two step design was carried out using the bounded solution of an unstable zero dynamics for the given reference signals. This paper shows through simulations how stabilization of unstable zero dynamics and reference tracking can be accomplished simultaneously.
