The purpose of this study was to examine the stressors of students in high school. Demographic data such as jobs of parents, family types, levels of living (parents' monthly income) and students' school records, high school types, number of friends, religion, pocket money and their sex showed as the main causes of high school students' stress. The data was analyzed by a t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Duncan Multiple Range Test. The variable which significantly influenced the general properties was sex(p=0.001), high school type (p=0.000), number of friends (p=0.002), parents monthly income (p=0.011) and whether existence of their father or not (p=0.045). In the result (stress score), girl students (25.07) feel greater stress than boy students (20.68). High school type, an academic girls' high school (27.34) and boys' high school (25.67) showed the highest. It was indicated in the study that it is necessary to have programs that help students' stress management and improve high school type Systems.

The object of the present paper is to study 3-dimensional normal almost contact metric manifolds satisfying certain curvature conditions. Among others it is proved that a parallel symmetric (0, 2) tensor field in a 3-dimensional non-cosympletic normal almost contact metric manifold is a constant multiple of the associated metric tensor and there does not exist a non-zero parallel 2-form. Also we obtain some equivalent conditions on a 3-dimensional normal almost contact metric manifold and we prove that if a 3-dimensional normal almost contact metric manifold which is not a ${\beta}$-Sasakian manifold satisfies cyclic parallel Ricci tensor, then the manifold is a manifold of constant curvature. Finally we prove the existence of such a manifold by a concrete example.

In this paper, we prove the existence of at least three nontrivial solutions to nonlinear discrete boundary value problems $$\{^{-{\Delta}_{p,{\omega}}u(x)+V(x){\mid}u(x){\mid}^{q-2}u(x)=f(x,u(x)),x{\in}S,}_{u(x)=0,\;x{\in}{\partial}S}$$, involving the discrete p-Laplacian on simple, nite and connected graphs $\bar{S}(S{\cup}{\partial}S,E)$ with weight ${\omega}$, where 1 < q < p < ${\infty}$. The approach is based on a suitable combine of variational and truncations methods.

For the boundary value problem (BVP) of second order functional differential equations for the one-dimensional $\rho$-Laplaclan: ($\Phi$$_{\rho}$(y'))'(t)+m(t)f(t, $y^{t}$ )=0 for t$\in$[0,1], y(t)=η(t) for t$\in$[-$\sigma$,0], y'(t)=ξ(t) for t$\in$[1,d], suitable conditions are imposed on f(t, $y^{t}$ ) which yield the existence of at least two positive solutions. Our result generalizes the main result of Avery, Chyan and Henderson.

We show three-dimensional distribution of voltages resulted from the leakage current originated from outdoor electrical facilities in a submerged area. In case these facilities are grounded by the neutral line multiple grounding method, the existence of ungrounded electrical facilities can cause a disastrous effect on near-by passengers. In order to investigate this situation, we installed a real-scale test field for the experiment type I (for the leakage current path between a enclosure grounded electrical facility and another enclosure grounded one), and that for the experiment type II (for the leakage current path between a enclosure grounded electrical facility and another ungrounded one). For both cases, we carried out three-dimensional monitoring of the voltage distribution while varying additional conditions such as the exposure of the underground cables and the finishing of cable connection part. The result shows that a disastrous effect on human safety can arise from the leakage current without a pertinent measure for the construction and maintenance of outdoor electrical facilities.

This paper presents the development of smart road line lamp system consisting light control device. It can perform the individual power control or partial on/off control of a LED lamp by control center and can detect the error of the LEDs by current sensing. Also, the ability to control the brightness and period of on/off by detecting the car's existence. This light control circuit consists of road line lamp unit device. It can give a lot of solutions when the server, which controls the whole system, is operated through CDMA(Code-Division Multiple Access) network.

While investigating the Lauricella's list of 14 complete second-order hypergeometric series in three variables, Srivastava noticed the existence of three additional complete triple hypergeometric series of the second order, which were denoted by $H_A$, $H_B$ and $H_C$. Each of these three triple hypergeometric functions $H_A$, $H_B$ and $H_C$ has been investigated extensively in many different ways including, for example, in the problem of finding their integral representations of one kind or the other. Here, in this paper, we aim at presenting further integral representations for the Srivatava's triple hypergeometric function $H_B$.

This study was designed to characterize endotoxin-induced prostaglandin production in primary cultured rat vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMC). The time course for prostaglandin synthesis in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated VSMC showed that the maximum production was reached in 12 hours. LPS induced prostaglandin H2 synthase (PGHS) activity in VSMC and the time course profile in the changes of PGHS activity paralleled that of total prostaglandin production. Differential treatment showed that 4 hours' exposure to LPS was enough for the maximum effect on the prostaglandin production and this effect was completely inhibited by the co-treatment of actinomycin D, a transcription inhibitor. These results suggest that LPS effect might be determined within 4 hours. Actinomycin D increased PGHS activity without affecting prostaglandin production if added 4 hours after LPS treatment. On the other hand, cyclogeximide, a translation inhibitor, augmented LPS-induced prostaglandin production if treated during first four hours, but it inhibited LPS-induced PGHS activity regardless of treatment schedule. These results suggest the existence of multiple regulating mechanisms in the LPS-induced prostaglandin synthesis.

In this paper, we are concerned with the following four point boundary value problem with one-dimensional p-Laplacian, $\{({\phi}_p(x'(t)))'+h(t)f(t,x(t),|x'(t)|)=0$, 0< t<1, $x'(0)-{\delta}x(\xi)=0,\;x'(1)+{\delta}x(\eta)=0$, where $\phi_p$ (s) = |s|$^{p-2}$, p > $\delta$ > 0, 1 > $\eta$ > $\xi$ > 0, ${\xi}+{\eta}$ = 1. By using a fixed point theorem in a cone, we obtain the existence of at least three symmetric positive solutions. The interesting point is that the boundary condition is a new Sturm-Liouville-like boundary condition, which has rarely been treated up to now.

Using Minimax principle and Linking theorem in critical point theory, we prove the existence of two nontrivial solutions for the following second order superlinear difference systems $$(P)\{{\Delta}^2x(k-1)+g(k,y(k))=0,\;k{\in}[1,\;T],\;{\Delta}^2y(k-1)+f(k,\;x(k)=0,\;k{\in}[1,\;T],\;x(0)=y(0)=0,\;x(T+1)=y(T+1)=0$$ where T is a positive integer, [1, T] is the discrete interval {1, 2,..., T}, ${\Delat}x(k)=x(k+1)-x(k)$ is the forward difference operator and ${\Delta}^2x(k)={\Delta}({\Delta}x(k))$.
