We need two operation modes to obtain the complex hologram without bias and the conjugate image in the modified triangular interferometer (MTI). To solve the problem, we proposed the optimized MTI with one wave plate, which can obtain cosine and sine functions by the combination of one wave plate and one linear polarizer. In the extraction of phase term using the combination of polarization components, the phase error occurs, and we analyzed such potential phase errors in the optimized MTI.

We synthesized and analyzed the optical transfer function(OTF) of the modified triangular interferometer (MTI) using two-pupil synthesis method. Also, we presented the optimal MTI, which can obtain any bipolar function by combining two wave plates and a linear polarizer. By using the proposed MTI, we can obtain the complex hologram without bias and conjugate image.

We presented a modified triangular interferometer as an incoherent holography, which can eliminate bias and conjugate image problems of the conventional one. Also, to demonstrate the feasibility of incoherent holography, the formation of an incoherent hologram using a mercury lamp and its optical reconstruction were presented.

We derive the point-spread function of the reconstructed image from a point-source complex hologram, which includes phase error caused by polarization components, in the longitudinal direction of the point-spread function and analyze the effect of the error sources of polarization components having influence on image reconstruction of a point-source complex hologram in incoherent triangular holography.

변형 삼각간섭계에 있어서 기록과 복원 시스템을 고려한 PSF를 구하였다. 그리고 변형 삼각간섭계와 Cochran 삼각간섭계의 해상도를 유도하였으며, 렌즈의 배율, 복원시에 사용되는 레이저의 파장, 그리고 홀로그램의 크기에 따른 두 시스템의 해상도를 구하고 분석하였다. 또한, 인코히어런트 홀로그래피의 가능성을 입증하기 위하여 수은등을 이용한 인코히어런트 홀로그램의 생성과 이를 이용한 광학적 복원 결과가 제시되었다.

인코히어런트 광원을 이용하여 홀로그램을 생성할 수 있는 변형 삼각간섭 계에 있어서 공액영상과 바이어스를 이론적으로 제거하였으며, 변형 삼각 간섭계를 이용하여 3차원 영상의 기록과 재현을 함으로써 3차원 영상 디스플레이로서의 가능성을 입증하였다.

본 논문에서는 변형 삼각간섭계를 이용한 간섭패턴 생성과 관련한 몇 가지 실험결과를 제시한다. Two-pupil 합성 방법을 이용하여 변형 삼각간섭계의 광전달함수를 합성하고 광전달함수에 내포된 오차에 대한 원인을 분석해 보았다.
