This study explores how the main variables of youth going through a transition period (parents' nurturing behavior, the youth's self-esteem and ego resilience, the peer group relationships) affect the youth's school adjustment. It also analyzes the effects of theses variables on the youth's dependence on cell phones, which are considered a necessity in modern society. This research is verified by using a structure model verification method based on data from the Korean Children Youth Panel Study. According to the research, first, 1st-year students in middle school show better adjustment to their school life and less dependence on cell phones when they have a stronger sense of self-esteem and ego resilience; further, it is revealed that cell phone dependence has an indirect influence on the school life of these children. Second, they tend to show better adjustment to their school life and less dependence on cell phones when their parents' nurturing behaviors are more positive. Third, these children tend to depend more on cell phones when they have a positive peer group relationship, Moreover, cell phone dependence has an indirect influence on their school life. When considering the impact of cell phone to youth in modern society, need to prepare proper training program for correct uses and preventing from addiction.

In the modern society, the definition of life style has a special meaning. Because of the publicity of social Life, the compound numbers of behavior context and the diversify of Authority these days, the choosing life style is important for the self identity and the life activities. To erect the thesis of metaphoric process and meaning effect by stages, it will be studied and analyzed. Furthermore, studies about contrast, ambiguity, illusion, the element for meaning effect by stages, will be done. The Ubiquitous age Is a organic period for human, space and objects to interact to each other. This relationship can not be alternated by technology. Instead the technology can be a premise and because of the human being's new faculty of sensation, this age request emotional and interactive space design. In this modern life, the study of emotional and sensuous experience and metaphoric process can not be overlooked and should be researched more thoroughly to complete the theory of the new space design.

This text discusses trends in the construction of religions since the Meiji Era, using Konkokyo and Restoration Shintoism as examples. The construction of religions is applied here as the process of a deliberate acceptace of religious images as a discourse of "Civilization" endowed with "kyougi" or "Doctrine" and "kyousoku" or "Rules of Instruction." Winding through a meandering path, these constructed religions do not take precedence over "Jikyou" or "State Religion." Yet, "Jikyou" for a while was fixed in its own fragemented self-imagery. As for Shinto, in 1900, the Office of Shinto Shrines became independent from the Office of Shrines and Temples in the Department of Domestic Affairs, and clearly Shinto and Shinto Shrines were part of secular state ideology. In the Bakumatsu and Meiji Periods, it ultimately was cut off from Restoration Shinto, thereby achieving this development on its own. This tells of the formation of an entirely new and modern Shinto within a secular "Jikyou." Konkokyo, moreover, as a religion establishes "kyousoku" and "kyougi." As a Shinto sect, it takes steps on the path toward recognizing a self-identity, namely as religious Shinto. As a result, dogmatization and systemization progress, and "Byoukinaoshi" or "illness-recovery" from the Tokugawa Period weathers. Also, as for progress in the Shinto religious order, from its foundation, the characteristics of a unified state and religion emerge, and thus there is an acceptance of significant restrictions. This dillema continues to persist as a problem in postwar Japan. Shedding light on Tokugawa Era practice also sheds light on where we can now take religious concepts.

It is generally accepted that self-similar (or fractal) processes may provide better models for teletraffic in modern telecommunication networks than Poisson Processes. If this is not taken into account, it can lead to inaccurate conclusions about performance of telecommunication networks. Thus, an important requirement for conducting simulation studies of telecommunication networks is the ability to generate long synthetic stochastic self-similar sequences. Three generators of pseudo-random self-similar sequences, based on the FFT〔20〕, RMD〔12〕 and SRA methods〔5, 10〕, are compared and analysed in this paper. Properties of these generators were experimentally studied in the sense of their statistical accuracy and times required to produce sequences of a given (long) length. While all three generators show similar levels of accuracy of the output data (in the sense of relative accuracy of the Horst parameter), the RMD- and SRA-based generators appear to be much faster than the generator based on FFT. Our results also show that a robust method for comparative studies of self-similarity in pseudo-random sequences is needed.

Modern constitution obtains its justice by protecting the people's basic legal rights. The constitutional rights can be more than a defensive measure against government power by modern viewpoints. The government has to create an atmosphere which the rights are not violated. The Constitution provides that the government has to make efforts to prevent disaster and protect the people from danger in Clause 34, Art. 6. The government has an obligation to protect the people's basic legal rights of life, health and property from fire damages, and those rights are gathering strength under a socialist state principle as fundamental ideology of modern societies. The present fire inspection system gains a point constitutionally but it still needs to be certified as the most suitable system. This article examines the solution to operate fire inspection system efficiently, given the reality of present system operation. It is necessary to improve the system by integrating the present fire inspection with the self fire inspection. Government needs to re-modification the Fire inspections system for prevent and promote (resolve) the problem which government officer (ex fire fighter) can make a irregularities and corruption as do it oneself.

Recently, social problem of teens becomes one of the important social issues. Adolescence is the intermediate stages of childhood and adulthood. Teens have not find their identity at this time. That reason is why teens and the old generation are disconnect. That arise from the development of industry and the nuclear family, entrance examination-oriented education system. So they are wandering in the popular culture and the cyber-space. Therefore, families, schools and state should have interesting and understanding for teens, and should strive that teens establish a self established identity. Specially, ethics education using traditional culture will help to establish their identity, and that provide self-esteem and pride about korean traditional culture. This is the reason why culture contents that is based on Korean traditional culture have to make for teens. The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data that will help in the development Korean traditional cultural contents for teens. In this study, this researchers will search the following matters; first, what is ritual for Coming-of-age, second, various forms of ritual for Coming-of-age and Korean modern ritual in order to grasp the meaning of the ritual for Coming-of-age, third, costume and meaning of costume which has in both Kwan-Ryea as Korean traditional ritual for Coming-of-age and Korean modern ritual. This study will compare Kwan-Ryea with traditional ritual of modern.

It is an aim of this study to analyze a relation between modern medicine advertisements and body. Recently the academic world has discussed how comes it that the modernity had been formed. This trend is remarkable in the field of the history of everyday life. Because everyday life is connected with people's vivid experience. Especially in modern advertising it is in existence such as popular culture, consumer culture, sexuality, family, food, clothing and housing, disease. Since modern times the body has been reorganized into a new shape. Namely the premodern body that had been regulated by a status system is changed into modern body that have to form itself after the customs and values. We analyzed medicine advertisements in the early modern times and hoped to explain how modern people had understood their body. We applied Foucault's theory of discourse as a methodology. As a result of research, we came to the conclusion that there were several rules in the texts of medicine advertisements, which had formed a modern subject of pain. There was a disciplinary power such as a internalization of clinical eyes, self-watch in medicine advertisements. These advertisements contributed to the formation of subject of pain and related to the state power.

Due to the restriction of movement caused by the Corona epidemic and the expansion of the "big face" through human distance, the "unmanned system" based on artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things has been widely used in modern life. "Self-driving," one of the transportation systems based on artificial technology, has taken the initiative in the transportation system as the spread of Corona has begun. Self-driving technology eliminates unnecessary contact and saves time and manpower, which can significantly impact current and future transportation. Accidents may occur, however, due to the performance of self-driving technology during transportation albeit the U.S. allows ordinary people to drive automatically through experimental operations, and the product liability law will resolve the dispute. Self-driving has become popular in the U.S. after the experimental stage, and in the event of a self-driving accident, product liability should be applied to protect drivers from complicated self-driving disputes. The purpose of this paper is to investigate whether disputes caused by defects in ordinary cars can be resolved through arbitration through U.S. precedents and to investigate whether disputes caused by defects in autonomous cars can be arbitrated.

Smart manufacturing (SM) considered as a new trend of modern manufacturing helps to meet objectives associated with the productivity, quality, cost and competiveness. It is characterized by decentralized, distributed, networked compositions of autonomous systems. The model of SM is inherited from the organization of the living systems in biology and nature such as ant colony, school of fish, bee's foraging behaviors, and so on. In which, the resources of the manufacturing system are considered as biological organisms, which are autonomous entities so that the manufacturing system has the advanced characteristics inspired from biology such as self-adaptation, self-diagnosis, and self-healing. To prove this concept, a cloud machining system is considered as research object in which internet of things and cloud computing are used to integrate, organize and allocate the machining resources. Artificial life tools are used for cooperation among autonomous elements in the cloud machining system.

With the increasing utilization of high-voltage, direct current (HVDC) transmissions in modern power systems, the DC grid is becoming a hot topic in academic and practical systems. In the DC grid, one of the urgent problems is the fast clearance of the DC fault in the DC network. One preferred method is to isolate the faulty point from the DC network in a short time. The DC circuit breaker is to interrupt the overcurrent after DC faults occur. In this paper, a self-excited resonant DC circuit breaker is an easy and cheap equipment to interrupt the DC fault current. The Mayr's arc model is utilized to simulate the self-excited DC circuit breaker in a DC test system in PSCAD/EMTDC.
