Implementation and Performance Analysis of DGPS & RTK Error Correction Data Real-Time Transmission System for Long-Distance in Mobile Environments

  • DGPS(Differential Global Positioning System) and RTK(RealTime Kinematic) is in one of today's most widely used surveying techniques. But It's use is restricted by the distance between reference station and rover station and it is difficult to process data in realtime by it's own orgnizational limitation in precise measurement of positioning. To meet these new demands, In This paper, new DGPS and RTK correction data services through Internet and PSTN(Public Switched Telephony Network) have been proposed. For this purpose, we implemented performance a DGPS and RTK error correction data transmission system for long-distance using the internet and PSTN network which allows a mobile user to increase the distance at which the rover receiver is located from the reference in realtime. and we analyzed and compared DGPS and RTK performance by experiments through the Internet and PSTN network with the distance and the time.

  • Mobile Ad-Hoc network is the network of mobile nodes which has no fixed infrastructure, and mobile node in MANET can move freely and communicate with each other. The location management is an important issue because location information of a mobile node is frequently changed in MANET. In this paper, we propose new quorum system applying the gravity of locality of mobile nodes adaptively by using the fuzzy-logic for the mobility of mobile nodes in order to manage location information of mobile nodes in MANET efficiently. The performance of the proposed scheme is evaluated by an analytical model and compared with those of existing UQS and DQS schemes.

  • Due to development of internet and mobile communication, M-commerce applications that utilize the digital signature are widely used these days. The mobile environment is weaker than the wired internet environment. Thus, it is highly required to systematically analyze the effect of processing the digital document and the digital signature algorithm, and low bandwidth of the mobile network on the system performance. In this paper, we have constructed the mobile contract system which has the XML based digital contract and the RSA signature algorithm as the test system. And we have derived the performance parameters and then measured in detail the runtime performance of the mobile digital signature system with the Compaq iPAQ 3850 PDA and CDMA 2000 1x mobile network.

  • With the rapid growth of recent wireless mobile computing application technology and handheld mobile terminal device development technology, one of the big issue in these fields is to design online games in wireless mobile ad hoc network environment. Online games in mobile computing environment have lots of constraints for developing online games because mobile terminals have many limitations such as low performance of processor, limited memory space, small bandwidth of wireless communication, and confined life of battery power. Therefore, most of mobile games are restrictive in the function of online and multi-play up to date. In this paper, the online MMORPG game, capable of multi-play with many other mobile users using mobile terminals in wireless mobile computing environment, is designed and implemented. Proposed mobile online game uses bluetooth to construct temporary wireless mobile ad hoc network with other mobile clients, and designed to carry out online MMORPG game with these clients. It also supports multi-play among them.

An Efficient Multicast Architecture for IP-Based Mobile Core Networks (IP기반 모바일 코어 네트워크에서의 효율적인 멀티캐스트 아키텍처)

  • When the legacy multicast routing protocols are adopted in If-based mobile core networks, there are some problems such as traffic injection from unnecessary sources, traffic overhead by group management and router performance degradation by large amount of multicast session information. In this paper, we propose a stateless multicast mechanism which has no need to maintain multicast information for session status and reduces redundant network overhead for maintaining multicast tree. In addition interworking with IGMPv3 gets rid of traffic from unnecessary sources which have no registration from receivers. The operations of essential components including a gateway node for interworking with the legacy Internet multicast network, a gateway node for transparency to radio access network and a intermediate node in mobile core networks, are definitely defined and the proposed communication architecture is completed. Finally we evaluate and approve the performance of the proposed architecture by means of well-designed network simulation.

  • Now, there are many mobile nodes are efficient and stable when they move to operate with variety techniques have emerged.Recently, there is a growing interest about PMIPv6(Proxy Mobile IPv6) and, in this proposal of essay is the based on the way to mobility support system will stand on the basis from PMIPv6 network to NEMO(Network Mobility). PMIPv6 is mobility support system from single domain, it actual network is composed with nested in a multiple domain structural system. The proposed technique in the domain of two or more, the LMA(Local Mobility Anchor) communication between LMA(Local Mobility Anchor) and MAG(Mobile Access Gateway) of movable domain can increase performance by handover delay and signaling.

  • In Korea mobile phone subscribers exceeded 1 million people in 1995, and ten million people in 1998. Prevalence of the mobile phone increased dramatically over 110% compared to the population. And all family members including children and students use one or two mobile terminal. Mobile phone is obviously necessary good more than washer, vacuum cleaner, passenger car. Our daily life with mobile communication are conveniently positioned, but communication related costs including the price of the device has become a big burden on the household. But the government does not seem to do the right role at the right time to prevent the failure of the market to further maximize consumer welfare and social welfare through fair competition. This principal-agent problems exist especially in perspective of joint use of the mobile communication network, number portability, separation of phone distribution and phone service and network neutrality among in mobile communication policies since the early 1990s up to now.

  • Recently, the national carrier of the next-generation growth engine of M2M (machine to Machine) is attracting attention. Therefore, its uses and utilization of the various disciplines is getting wider, and the increasing number of terminals to be used compared to the existing communication of the information that is sent in every object may have increased. Each data transfer from the bulk terminal to a mobile network, if the traffic situation reaches this limit does not facilitate the processing of M2M communication services, this situation can occur. This study measures the mobile networks will be used in M2M communications when it reaches the breaking point for the smooth processing of M2M services are presented. Things grows increasingly smaller the further development of M2M technology, the explosion in mobile communication network, the data traffic will reach the limitations of these methods will be used in determining the ranking of the M2M communication services should be treated as a priority, to beM2M services to mobile networks will help to facilitate.

  • In thls Paper, we Propose a new scheme, protecting information about the location of a mobile user against attacks from inside users of the mobile communication, especially the network providers. There have already been some proposals about how to protect location information of user in mobile communication environments〔1-5〕. Among them, Kesdogan et al.〔2, 3〕 proposed a new method, using so-called temporary pseudonyms and also described protection method against a passive and an active attack of network providers. However, the description of protection method against the active attack between the two is not clear. Moreover, there is an additional load that it should append a reachability manager〔1, 6〕 to the proposed system. Therefore, we propose a new scheme improving the above method of Kesdogan et al. and analyze its security and effectiveness.

Bi-LSTM model with time distribution for bandwidth prediction in mobile networks

  • We propose a bandwidth prediction approach based on deep learning. The approach is intended to accurately predict the bandwidth of various types of mobile networks. We first use a machine learning technique, namely, the gradient boosting algorithm, to recognize the connected mobile network. Second, we apply a handover detection algorithm based on network recognition to account for vertical handover that causes the bandwidth variance. Third, as the communication performance offered by 3G, 4G, and 5G networks varies, we suggest a bidirectional long short-term memory model with time distribution for bandwidth prediction per network. To increase the prediction accuracy, pretraining and fine-tuning are applied for each type of network. We use a dataset collected at University College Cork for network recognition, handover detection, and bandwidth prediction. The performance evaluation indicates that the handover detection algorithm achieves 88.5% accuracy, and the bandwidth prediction model achieves a high accuracy, with a root-mean-square error of only 2.12%.
