중년여성의 생활 스트레스, 생활만족도와 폐경기 적응에 관한 연구 (Life Stress, Life Satisfaction, and Adaptation of Middle-aged Women in the Menopause Period)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe life stress, life satisfaction, and adaptation of middle-aged women in the menopause period. Methods: The research design was to descriptive study using self-report questionnaires. Participants were 129 middle aged women living at A city. Data were collected from June 1 to June 30 and analyzed using SPSS/WIN program. Results: Significant differences in menopause adaptation were evident on the basis of spouse. There were significant differences in life satisfaction in terms of income. Life satisfaction was positively correlated to menopause period adaptation. Life stress was negatively correlated to menopause period adaptation. Life satisfaction and life stress were accounted for 36.2% in menopause period adaptation of middle-aged women. Conclusion: These results provide evidence of the effects of life stress and life satisfaction of menopause period adaptation.

학령기(만 7세-만 12세) 남아의 체형특성II-학령기별 상.하반식 체형구성인자특성을 중심으로- (Characteristics of Somatotype for Boys of Elementary School Age II -Characteristics of factor for upper and lower half in Each Period of School Ages-)

  • The purpose of this study is to offer fundamental data for classification of somatotype for boys of elementary school age. The subject were 458 elementary school boys aged from 7 to 12 living in Pusan, Data were collected by 57 anthropometric and 11 photographic measurements and analyzed by factor analysis according to SAS package 1. Through the factor analysis by each period of school ages 6-7 factor were obtained in upper half and they are as followings: 1) Factor 1 is horizontal size of upper half in every period 2) Factor 2 is vertical size of upper half in every period 3) Factor 3 is shoulder shape in the first period and length of upper half in the middle and latter period 4) Facto 4 sis length of upper half in the first period and shoulder shape in the middle and latter period 5) Factor 5 is angle shape of the breast and back in the first period angle shape of the lower breast and back in the middle of period and angle shape of the upper breast and back in the latter of period 6) Factor 6 is angle of shoulder in the first period angle shape of the upper breast and back in the middle of period and angle shape of the lower breast and back in the latter of period 7)Factor 7 is angle of shoulder in the latter of period 2. Through the factor analysis by each period of school ages 5-6 factor were obtained in lower half and they are as followings: 1) factor 1 is horizontal size of upper half in every period 2) Factor 2 is vertical size of upper half in every period 3) Pactor 3 is angle shape of the belly and upper buttock in the first period and length of lower half in the middle and latter period 5) Factor 5 is angle shape of the lower buttock in the first period angle shape of the upper belly and buttock in the middle of period and angle of the side posture in the latter of period 6) Factor 6 is angle shape of the lower buttock in the middle of period and angle shape of the lower belly and buttock

제1차 교육과정기의 중·고등학교 수학 교과서 발행 실태 연구 (A study on the situation of publishing middle and high school mathematics textbooks in the period of the first curriculum)

  • In this study, the situation of publishing middle and high school mathematics textbooks used at the period of the first curriculum were investigated. In the period of the first curriculum, middle and high school textbooks were used from 1956, and middle school textbooks were used until 1965, and high school textbooks were used until 1967. First of all, the announcements of the ministry of education related to the textbook authorization were examined in the government official gazettes of 1956~1967. However, there were considerable typographical errors in these announcements of the ministry of education. So textbooks used at that period were examined, and typographical errors were corrected by cross-checking the bibliographic information.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the changes in home management part in the home economics textbooks for middle school from the 1st to the 7th curriculum period. The part of home management in the all of home economics textbooks published in every curriculum period was analyzed using several external criteria of textbook. The major findings of this study were as follows : 1. The part of home management was divided into even specific areas including 'definition and process of home management'. 'time management'. 'household labor/work management'. 'family financial management'.'purchasing'. and 'consumer protection'. 2. The part of home management has been included in the middle school home economics textbooks since the 1st curriculum period. The proportion of this part in the whole textbook varied with range from 5.1% to 31.8%. 3. The areas emphasized in the beginning of curriculum period were 'family financial management'and 'household labor/work management'. and 'utilization of family resource and environment management'were the areas emphasized in the later curriculum period. 4. The titles of the middle and small unit have begun to use recent words and have represented the including contents since the 4th curriculum period. 5. The numbers of illustrations. tables. pictures. and activities have increased since the 6th curriculum period. 6. Other unrelated areas such as computer and career preparation were included in the home management part in the 1st. 2nd. and 5th curriculum period.

  • Residential space can be stated as a decisive body compositely affected by environmental, physical, social, and cultural influences. Resulting from this idea, residential space can be defined as a mirror reflecting peoples' life at that period. Therefore, it is possible to understand the social and cultural aspects of a certain era through analyzing the residential space built and used at that period. Viewing from this point, latter term of Chosun Period, as a transitional period, was a tie of collapse for the structure of middle-class society forcing its identity system to be reorganized, and of improving upon commerce, agriculture, and manual industry to enable modernization. Following this idea, the goal of this research is to analyze characteristics of higher middle class residences built at the close of 19th century in Gyeonggi province in order to bring into light the change of social structure of the period.

Multivariate Causal Relationship between Stock Prices and Exchange Rates in the Middle East

  • This study investigates the causal relationship between stock prices and exchange rates for six Middle Eastern countries, namely, Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, and Saudi Arabia before and during (after) the 2007 global financial crisis for the period between January 2004 and September 2015. The sample is divided into two sub-periods, that is, the period from January 1, 2004 to September 30, 2007 and the period from October 1, 2007 to September 30, 2015, to represent the pre-crisis period and the post-crisis period, respectively. Using Vector Autoregressive (VAR) model in a multivariate framework (including two control variables, inflation rates and oil prices) the results suggest that in the case of Jordan, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, there exists bidirectional causalities after the crisis period but not the before. The opposite status is available for the case of Iran. In the case of Oman, there is bidirectional causality between the variables of interest in both periods. The results also reveal that the relationship between stock prices and exchange rates has become stronger after the 2007 global financial crisis. Overall, the results of this study indicate that fluctuations in foreign exchange markets can significantly affect stock markets in the Middle East.

우리나라 교수요목기의 중·고등학교 수학 교과서 실태 연구 (A study on actual state of Korean secondary school mathematics textbooks in the period of syllabus)

  • In this study, middle and high school authorized mathematics textbooks which were used in the period of syllabus are traced. Since the first appearance of authorized textbooks in 1947, 11 types of authorized textbooks written by eleven teams of authors have been used in the period of syllabus. Among them, 5 types correspond to today's middle school textbooks, while 6 types correspond to a combination of today's middle and high school textbooks. Nor were all of them used until 1955. There were changes such as suspending publication, changing publishers, or cancelling authorization.

통계분석을 이용한 지역별 산불위험시기 구분 (Statistical Analysis on Danger Period of Forest Fire by Regions in Korean)

  • 전국단위로 시행되고 있는 산불위험시기가 전국 9개 지역(강원, 경기, 경남, 경북, 전남, 전북, 제주, 충남, 충북)과 차이가 있는지를 알아보기 위하여 산불발생건수와 피해면적을 가지고 순기별로 구분하여 상관분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 산불발생건수에서는 모든 지역에서 유의성이 있는 것으로 나타났고, 산불피해면적에서는 경남, 제주와 유의성이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 전국을 대상으로 모든 지역을 설명하기에는 부족하므로 전국 9개도를 대상으로 하여 산불위험시기를 구분하기 위하여 산불발생과 피해면적을 이용하여 분산분석의 다중검정을 실시하고 순기별로 유의성 검정을 실시하였다. 그 결과 산불발생에 있어서 제주를 제외한 지역에서 1% 유의성이 있었고, 산불피해면적은 강원, 제주를 제외한 지역에서 1% 유의성을 보였다. 각 지역별로 위험시기를 구분할 수 있지만 행정적 효율성을 높이기 위하여 지역별 상관분석 결과를 이용하여 산불위험시기가 비슷한 중부권(강원, 경기, 경북, 전북, 충남, 충북), 남부권(경남, 전남), 그리고 제주권(제주)으로 분류하였다. 산불발생시기에 있어서는 중부권은 2월중순${\sim}$5월상순까지 전체의 81%가 발생한 반면 남부권은 1월하순${\sim}$4월중순까지 전체의 71%가 발생하였다. 산불피해면적에 있어서는 중부권은 2월중순${\sim}$5월상순까지 전체의 98% 가 발생한 반면 남부권은 1월하순${\sim}$4월중순까지 전체의 82%가 발생하였다.

중년여성의 빈둥지시기 경험 탐색과 평생교육학적 제안 (Exploring empty nest experience of middle aged women with implication on lifelong educational support)

  • 이 연구는 중년여성의 생애사건 중 빈둥지시기의 경험에 대한 탐색을 통해 평생교육학적 의미를 찾고 지원방안을 모색하는 데 목적을 두었다. 중년여성에게 빈둥지시기는 자신의 삶을 재검토하고 재평가하는 과정을 통해 삶의 질에 중요한 영향을 미치는 시기임에도 불구하고 그들에 대한 연구와 관심은 매우 제한적으로 이루어져 왔다. 중년여성이 빈둥지시기를 어떻게 경험하고 이를 통해 어떤 변화가 있었는지에 대해 면밀하게 살펴보고 이에 대한 평생교육학적 논의를 진행하고자 한다. 이 연구는 빈둥지시기를 경험하였거나 경험하고 있는 중년여성 10인을 대상으로 면담을 실시하였다. 면담을 통해 수집된 자료는 근거이론에 기반한 지속적 비교방법을 통해 분석하였으며 개방코딩, 축코딩, 선택코딩을 통해 내용을 개념화하고 범주화하였다. 그 결과로 도출된 범주들을 가지고 패러다임 모형을 제시하였다. 연구참여자들의 빈둥지시기 경험과정에 대한 이야기의 윤곽을 그리면서 그들의 경험이 변화의지와 행동화의 핵심범주로 분류되어졌으며 그 결과 빈둥지시기 경험의 4가지 유형이 도출되었다. 이 4가지 유형은 자아탐색형, 역할순응형, 관계중심형 그리고 변화상실형 등으로 각 유형별로 상이한 특징과 경험을 제시하였다. 연구결과를 기초로 연구의 제한점과 중년여성을 위한 평생교육학적 시사점을 제안하였다.

광주 여성의 생산활동 : 1950년대 중반부터 1990년 말을 중심으로 (Women′s Work in Kwangju from the Middle of 1950′s to the End of 1990′s)

  • The purpose of this study is both to describe and to explain the shapes and the changes of Kwangju women's productive activities from the middle of 1950's to the end of 1990's. Productive activities in this study include wage labors as well as economic activities in informal labor sector and domestic labor. Three factors - economic structure, the family, and women's consciousness - are drawn to explain women's work in Kwangju. The period from the middle of 1950's to the end of 1990's has been divided into 5 stages and the characteristics of women's work at each stage are as follows : Kwangju women during 1950's worked hard and contributed to the family economy not only inside but also outside the family : during the second stage from 1960's to 1970's, they accomplished not only the traditional women's role but also industrial wage worker : the third period of the first half of 1980's was the time for the development of social consciousness : the fourth period from the end of 1980's to the beginning of 1990's was the time when women tried to solve their problems by themselves: during the last period from the middle of 1990's to the end of 1990's. Kwangiu women wanted to establish their identities in the independent area from their families.
